Close proximity to downtown
Staff was not helpful. From what I was charged, this definitely was not a value stay as intended.
The beds were comfortable and it was a good location in Vancouver.
This is definitely a hostel for people who are looking to party. This is not me. If it had been 5 years ago I probably would of enjoyed my stay more. The area it is in seems to be all about the nightlife and the bar downstairs is very loud until 2 or 3 in the morning. If wanna be a part of that scene and can sleep through that this place is for you! But if you're someone who likes to be asleep by midnight like myself you may want to seek out other options.
Good if you're young and out and about to drink. They have a bar downstairs that's filled with energetic and sociable people and very close to the bars in Gastown.
If you like sleeping in a 90 degree room all night with any window access, this is the place for you
With a stay at Cambie Hostel Gastown in Vancouver (Gastown), you'll be a 5-minute walk from Harbour Centre and 5 minutes by foot from Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a computer station, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby.
