Boutique hotel close to st marks
This hotel was very close to st marks square and right by the ferry bus stop.
This d'hôtel room was quite small and expensive for what was offered.

The situation is very beautiful, and the table in the bar on the balcony is a wonderful place to drink in the afternoon. The breakfast is lovely.
The room was very dusty, like it hadn't been dusted for weeks. There's no internet access in the room of any kind even though this is promised. "Most of our customers don't want it," I was told. Nonetheless it was promised & I wanted it. We had no hot water for showers: when I enquired about this I was told, "there is a fault," but no alternative was offered. One of the staff members I spoke to (not all, I hasten to add) was very rude and dismissive. He said that as I was only staying for one night these things shouldn't matter; also that as I had spent three nights at another hotel before moving to this hotel for the (what was supposed to me a much better) last night, that I should have stayed where I was. He was so right!
