The remodeled rooms are very comfortable and clean.
There seemed to be no happy medium with the heating/cooling. We either had to blast the AC at 66 degrees to even start to cool down the room. Leaving the HVAC off still resulted in a room over 74 degrees.

Still Undergoing Renovations
This property has been undergoing renovations since early this year, which gets really old when you are there a lot. This was the first time we stayed in a renovated room. Very happy they kept the mission style furniture in the rooms and lobby. The new furniture additions in the room are very useful and comfortable.
The carpeting throughout is atrocious, and already filthy with either burns or tar tracked into it. There are no plugs for electronics near the bed (well, unless you want to climb between the bed and side table, and do without a light or clock). In this day and age, that is ridiculous. I also don't recall this being an issue previous times I have stayed there.

It was okay
The hotel was in a good location with stores and food options very near. The rooms were clean and staff was nice
We had planned to be at the pool both days we were at the hotel but after the first day in the pool we came out of the water to see a layer of hair and dirt floating in the water . We were so bothered we didn't go back to the pool also at our last morning we all woke up with different bites from some sort of insect. I woke up with a bite on my eyebrow. The beds were definitely not queen size because one couple and barely fit on the bed. I have been to plenty Hamptons and this is the most uncomfortable bed I've been in. And the rooms do not have fridge or microwave which was something that we wished we had.

Staff Was Exceptional
We were there as an ice storm was moving in. The staff was extremely accommodating and flexible regarding our options of potentially staying longer. When we decided to leave early, but after check out time, we were not charged for the extra night on our reservation.
Fair warning, they are under renovations right now, with one wing of the hotel closed completely. Honestly, this didn't bother us at all, and will make the hotel even better, but we had no indication of it until we arrived.

Money's worth 100%
The suite was very layed out and I was not expecting it to be as big as it was. I was beyond stoked when i opened the room door and saw how beautiful the room was. Definitely got my money's worth. Just wish I I would've booked it a few weeks earlier so I could've gotten it for cheaper.
