A little cold in the bedroom at night when the heating went off
Given that it was an older building, we were pleasantly suprised by the decor and fittings, all of which seemed of good quality. There was none of that sense of undue wear and tear that is often encountered. We particularly liked the breakfast, the friendliness/heplfulness of the proprietors, and the proximity of somewhere to eat in the evening.
Nothing that would stop us staying again. But, having said that, for me the quilt was a bit heavy for the overnight room temperature (whilst for my wife it was perfect). This is probaby less of an issue for younger folk, whoes natural theromregulation is better, but I would have preferred a slightly more flexible bedding solution that allows for greater temperature control (e.g. a lower rated quilt plus a top sheet).
Rosie & Simon are doing a great job with this fab B&B. Beautifully decorated. amazingly comfortable bed & pillows. Great breakfast. Lovely soft towels though rather small.
A tiny bit more than I would usually pay....but so worth it.
Beautiful building with original features, exceptionally clean. Very good breakfast and friendly owners. Outside parking and convenient pub next door.
The room, welcome breakfast and cleanliness were all excellent. We used the pub next door for our evening meal which was ordinary pub food. We would have wished to be nearer to Weymouth but nothing could be done by the owners about that! Overall we had a very comfortable stay.
