good location, nice breakfast, good staffs
the air conditioner wasn't cool enough even though we decreased temperature till 18 degrees Celsius
The bar wasn't open in the evevnings. Our room was very noisy as it was right next to the reception counter.
It a beautiful small hotel in the heart of downtown Yangon. Lots of main attraction around it. Lots of character in the area nearby. Used GRAB app to call for the taxis.
Smell, must be because of no air circulation.
Great location (near colonial buildings, central train station, restaurants) and kind staff. The building is old but decorated with very nich touch. The more I spent time, the more it felt like a home. Room 201 faces a main street and bright with large windows. Breakfast was nice with fresh fruits.
Since it faces a main street, it is a bit noisy until evening. It becomes surprisingly quiet late at night though. I wasn't disturbed by the street noise at all and slept well, but it may depend on a person.
This is my second stay at this hotel. Excellent deal, superb location, many things available within walking distance. Some of the room are very small and if you get the most basic room, it will have very little table space, if you need some desk space then spend the few dollars more for the next level up room for that, my friend did and he had a small desk. Also, room included an excellent breakfast (not a buffet). Also, no elevator on the grounds, it is all stairs so some people may want to take that into consideration.
Even the basic room needs a small bit more of table space, so adding a small folding tray table even could help.
With a stay at Hotel @ Yangon Heritage in Yangon (Yangon downtown), you'll be a 2-minute drive from Sule Pagoda and 5 minutes from Shwedagon Pagoda.
