I had to leave early due to my boss slipping and breaking his wrist, hotel management wouldn’t give even a partial refund on the two unused nights
Don’t know where they got 2 stars from, should be reassessed and I’m sure it’d be lucky to get 1. Room was freezing found a fan heater that arced on plugging in and then died, fortunately there was a second one that barely warmed the room. Way over priced, tired decor, building could do with a good wreaking ball and rebuild
While I’m out, stuffs cleaned up my room.
Receptionist named Pam very helpful
Cooperative & helpful
I could find it and the location wasn't bad, though it is in a bad part of town … drunks and druggies in the street, a knifing up the street, while I was here. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep on. It had a tippy, but working fridge and a working microwave.
Bunches. The place is shabby. Worse than that it was dirty. Grimy switch plates. Formica surfaces with dried food. The fiberboard floor surface was worn off and it was dirty enough that I didn't want to walk on the floor barefoot. The bathroom door was broken (like someone had slammed it and it had cracked down one side. It did close.) The tub was caulked by someone with the technique of a 5 year old … bet it took 3 tubes of caulk for the job … and the shower surround was cracked, so you know it is really disgusting behind that crack. Window would open, but you had to go outside to push it closed. Internet was appalling. When it worked, it worked, but it would kick you off the system every 10 or fewer minutes, which is painful if you are working on a website and you have to constantly get back on, because whatever you were doing disappeared. Work fast and in small segments was the lesson I learned. Do not plan on getting much done at one time.
Price was good, bed was ok, location was close to stores and restaurants.
It is right beside the homeless shelter so all night listening to drunks fight. Was asked 10 times if I had a cigarette or money to spare. Shower head was loose when I got there, bed was ok, and at half the price of other rooms worth it if not for the yelling and drunks all night. Also no hot water the first night but that was quickly corrected. As I paid for 2 nights with no refund, I stayed instead of moving.
