Pros: Comfortable Bed, personalized omlets
Cons: The quality of the shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
6.0 Good
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: Price seems high compared to what they offer.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great, room was well-appointed.
Cons: Hot tub was NOT hot, bubbles and jets did not work. Shampoo was out in the shower. While staff was generally friendly, checkout was noon but they deactivated our keys at 1130! That is horrible service, in my opinion.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff provided excellent customer service. The made to order omlettes were terrific.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Treated with respect
Cons: Breakfast items could have been refilled more promptly (water, hot water).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice room. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud! Breakfast omelette was delicious!!!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The shower dispensers. They were sluggish.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast and staff great!
Cons: Pool closed for maintenance, very sad as we would have stayed somewhere else if we knew.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Room was ok and decent size
Cons: Poor management and people skills. Don't bother asking for late check out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff upon arrival, clean, large room, quiet atmosphere, fresh cookies, airy lobby, easy parking, easy access to highway.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: For a smaller town hotel, it did what it needed to do.
Cons: Some of the staff really didn't want to be there, let alone help with any requests. The hallways on the upper floor needed a major vacuuming.
Mcmenamins Olympic Club - Centralia - Building

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Some other guests were arguing at odd hours of the night and very loudly but other than that, great stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, and we loved wandering through Centralia. Loved the free movies with the stay, and the movie theater was incredible, really old world stunning.
Cons: The biggest issue was the loud patrons. The train whistles did not bother us, and we expected them. However, the rude guests who were obnoxious in the halls till 2:00am plus in the morning were unexpected and unwanted. It made sleeping difficult. Not sure if drunk patrons were guests or someone had let them in. We could have called front desk, but we didn't really want to deal with the aftermath of turning them in, as the bathroom we used that night was down the hall. No telling what a drunk would do.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great old school vibe, nice bar and restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it all
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, staff very friendly
Cons: Floors are creaky, trains pass by very closely (horns are loud)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Historic hotel with a lot of charm and all the amenities you never thought you would need Staff was very nice and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was not included. We had breakfast at an old-school place across the street, the Centerville Café. We loved all the attention to historical detail, the wealth of information about the hotel's history, the trains going by, the pool tables and shuffleboards, the skylights and plants in the restaurant portion, the stories calligraphed onto walls throughout the hotel.
Cons: Our room looked out on ugly rooftop heating units and vents. Even a small windowbox of flowers outside each window would be a huge improvement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was small with bunk beds and a sink, but I loved it. Very cozy and clean.
7.0 Good
Pros: great location, fun, hip.
Cons: Very noisy-they provide earplugs so you don't have to listen to what must be the loudest train in the world. Beware the bathroom/showers are NOT in your room
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great stay.
Cons: Wifi could be better. Train noise to be expected.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Comfy room. Free movie in their cool theater while I had dinner and a drink. Breakfast next to a wood burning stove. Used bookstore across the street.

Pros: The water park is awesome! Actually the whole property is amazing! Just need more elevators. The wait was a bit too long.

Pros: Friendly staff when checking in, reasonable time to receive room with the water park available to use while waiting. So enjoyed the location of our room. Lots to do for children (of all ages)!!
Cons: Wave pool keep being closed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service was phenomenal from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. I’m so impressed and we can wait to come back! Highly recommend :)
7.5 Good
Pros: The atmosphere was really fun
Cons: THe wave pool was disgusting and made a few in our group sick
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room had the smallest TV in it... while all our friends had a huge 55 inch... that really sucked!
6.8 Good
Pros: All indoors
Cons: Food at restaurants could he better
6.8 Good
Pros: Water park was great!
Cons: Long lines at check-in & it took us 4 hours to have our luggage delivered to room. Discovered they failed to tag it & staff was unresponsive.
6.8 Good
Pros: My kids had fun it was fairly clean
Cons: We got evacuated from the building for over an hour and no one said why . When we were let back in the building everything was shut down for the night so my kids and I only played in the water for about an hour
8.3 Excellent
Cons: I think the payment system where you just swipe your wristband to buy items/food/drinks needs to be revised.. Although it is very convenient being able to lock your wallet/purse in the room and not have to carry it around to the waterpark or other activities, someone (most likely another guest) was able to charge $30 worth of alcohol to my booking account. i contacted the staff and they removed it from my bill thankfully but other than that, my stay at GWL was quite enjoyable!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bathrooms were very clean considering the amount of people
Cons: Very expensive
8.8 Excellent

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and coffee/tea in a common area. Planning an event in Centralia? This hotel has facilities measuring 200 square feet (19 square meters), including conference space.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reasonable cost for a non-motel experience, and good food in the two restaurants!
Cons: The bed pillows were lumpy and hard. The lighting the room was inadequate and harsh.
6.3 Good
Pros: Historical building, very classy looking. Staff was very friendly. Building was very quiet.
Cons: The heat was not working so we were freezing at night. With an older building came very low water pressure so we couldn’t take a nice hot shower to warm up after sleeping with no heat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything!! The bed was comfortable, the pillows were perfect, the tub was so deep with really hot water!!! We loved having two sinks, one for each of us to get ready. It was so awesome! The view of the deck added to our room. Thank you very much for such great accommodations.
Cons: We were disappointed the restaurant was closed but that was separate from our room. We did enjoy a nice breakfast at Berry Fields so honestly we don’t have any negative feedback.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Sweet boutique hotel located in a wonderful small town in Washington. Beautifully restored building with lovely rooms and wonderful ambiance. We are recommending to friends and hope to return some day.
Cons: Wish that there was either a comfortable chair in each room, or a lounge room with comfortable furniture available for use 24/7. The lounge on the 1st floor closed when the front desk closed and there was only a straight-back chair in the room. For us seniors who frequently cannot sleep all night, a comfy alternative place would be nice. Also, I am 5' 6" and could barely reach the light switch over the sink, so anyone shorter than that would either have to go without that light or stand on a chair (not a good idea).
6.8 Good
Pros: Sofa bed was horrible
Cons: Having to arrange for check in. Difficult to pin down when you are traveling.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely ambiance. Nice retro vibe. Ballroom is an amazing work of restoration and this property is clearly a labor of love for the owners. I really respect what they are trying to do and I am pleased to support them. Would rather stay in a place like this than a character-less Holiday Inn. Staff were very nice in being creative to get us a couple of wine glasses and a cork screw
Cons: No place to eat on the property on a Sunday night. Also the clawfoot tub in room 305 leaks onto the floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is pet friendly! Historic building in the heart of old town. Tons of charm. We had the King room with marble shower, and loved its spaciousness. Staff was very nice. We also took advantage of the adjacent restaurant for breakfast ( Berry something....) and had a great as well.
Cons: Nothing really. It is close to the train station and tracks running through town. Plan on hearing some rail activity and train horns.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely character building, interesting rooms, great location. A nice change from more ‘corporate’ hotels.
Cons: Nothing! It was great.
7.0 Good
Pros: I liked the feel of old fashion look
Cons: No ice machine and was pretty cold in the room
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful! And it was very nice to have two separate areas for sleeping.
Cons: The room was musty and dark, with an “old” smell to it.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant on premises for breakfast. Right downtown. Close to city night life.
Cons: Very good value for the money. Why would I want them to go for extra expense?

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a clean hotel. Well priced.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location and it was clean
Cons: The owners were both rude not friendly at all
5.5 Okay
Pros: Like the one level rooms, no noisy people above or below.
Cons: Horrible room spray/deodorant!! So strong had to leave the A/C and bathroom fan going the entire time just to keep it breathable in the room. Room deodorant so bad it kept our throats sore and choked up while we were in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable and I liked the big screen TV. It was clean , the AC worked.
Cons: The room is a little tired. The electrical outlet for the refrigerator and coffee maker didn’t work.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable but the linens had holes in them and the bedspread was dirty.
Cons: Customer service was extremely rude. The bathroom was dated and small...carpet is in extreme need of replacement. Add on booking showed a jaccuzi tub but the actual tub I would never take a bath in. Mold around it. Did I mention that the customer service(lady at front desk) was extremely rude? Yelled at me when I asked for clean towels. She said I was too late. Maid service had left. I just wanted a clean towel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: A little pricey for motel
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfest so-so location could not have been better
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff could been more friendly
7.5 Good
Pros: We didn't have breakfast. We were fishing locally and had to meet the fishing guide before breakfast was served. The room was clean, everything worked, (refrigerator, TV, coffee maker, air conditioner, ) It was quiet. There was even an ice maker that worked....We liked the fact the Kit Carson Restaurant was so close too...
Cons: The pillows were a little hard....but still usable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the hotel room was clean, bed was comfortable, colors of room were lovely, very quiet atmosphere. the flowers around the property were exquisite. My husband and I walked around admiring and smelling all of them. The roses were exceptionally beautiful with their vibrant colors. Conveniently located next to a coffee stand and restaurant. The breakfast was fine with the basics of coffee, fruit, juice, pastries etc. We are planning to go back there on our next trip south of Seattle. Highly recommend.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Soft bed
Cons: Smell of room, cigarette under sofa cushion.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great proximity to the freeway, comfy, decent breakfast, helpful staff.
Cons: Needed more breakfast options, but other than that, not much!
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The breakfast was bad, the room was small.
6.8 Good
Pros: It was clean and non smoking
Cons: The front desk took to long to help out
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was excellent given I was riding the STP.
Cons: You could not bring your bike to your room. I asked staff to have owner/manager call to discuss and they never did. They said they had 24 hour surveillance on bikes. I went down at 4am and the person "on guard" was sleeping in truck. Could have taken any of the bikes and ridden off.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Large size room. Fridge and Microwave. Reasonable bed. The best coffee shop ever called “The Fiddler” was 1 block away. I highly recommend it.
Cons: Our hallway and room had a horrible cigarette smoke smell. I chose this hotel because it was listed as non-smoking. I am allergic to smoke. There was a nasty full ashtray outside the door at the end of the hallway. The sidewalk and parking lot were full of cigarette butts. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit scary. We walked our dog before dark and still felt uneasy. I wouldn’t stay here again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, but simple. More continental style then fresh cooked breakfast.
Cons: The blocked Fox channel was not okay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great
Cons: Free breakfast could have had more choices. Something hot would have been good
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. Bethany at the front desk was friendly, helpful and just amazing! Close to a variety of restaurants and other services.
6.8 Good
Cons: The bed and the noisy aircon, also we could hear the people upstairs and it was next to a noisy hwy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: A little confusing to get to from freeway.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Appreciate that we came in late and the staff was very accommodating also allowing us a few minutes to gather our belongings without being harassed by the front desk or housekeeping. Every staff member was very kind and the bed was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: A couple more pillows would’ve been great. Also, if you had the ID discover channel that would’ve been over the top!!

Pros: Staff Airways friendly and responsive to requests
Cons: Bed Is uncomfortable. But with back issues I dont expect any different.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view of the lake was really relaxing. We had a door that opened out to a green lawn and there was a picnic table.
Cons: I had trouble with the TV remote. It shut off the TV in the middle of a show I was watching.
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast was amazing! Really liked it. Something for everyone. The view is amazing!
Cons: The walls are very thin and at 9pm we got a complaint about our 4 yr old playing because he walked to hard and the people below us wanted to sleep. Quiet hours are at 10pm so we should not have been talked to. We where not partying it was a child walking around the room. It completely changed our moods and we felt like we could not move off the beds because every foot step was loud just because it's an older building. You could here the cars on the highway driving by. There where people a couple rooms down smoking and the smoke when right in our room. No real privacy facing the lake because its a shared balcony area so with your window blinds open anyone can walk right by and look in your window
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple. Great lake view. Price

Cons: Spa (Hot Tub) was barely warm.

Cons: There were hair in the bath tub and bath floor. A bit strong smell for some cleaning chemical I guess
6.8 Good
Pros: I liked that the staff came in and tidied my room every single day and was here and gone while I stepped out. Very professional. The bed is decent and the sheets were clean .
Cons: I didnt care much for the breakfast. They offered coffee that was not good at all. The breakfast was cold cereal , waffles and fruit. Not much of a continental in my opinion. Also, in the room the fridge froze all my food I had to throw most of it out. Even adjusting the temp didnt help.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed at this motel several times over the last three years and never yet have found anything to complain about. we enjoy our stay there and will stay again in the future.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff and convenient location

Cons: The pillows were not comfortable.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to restaurants, quiet, large bathroom, king size bed, fridge and microwave, for the price was decent.
Cons: Very small thin towels, noticeable spots on the bed ruffle and bathroom floor by the toilet
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was pretty quiet for the most part.
Cons: The mattress was very hard and the comforter looked like it had been there since the 80's. The shower was terrifying because there was a deep dip right in the middle of the tub, but the drain was off to the side. The listing pictures had a loveseat in the room but all we had was a hard little chair with blocks of wood screwed on the bottom to keep people from stealing it. Also there was an incident between our neighbors, it went on for 20-30 minutes, and no one from the hotel even came out to see what was going on.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Close to where I was working.
Cons: Had a definite odor in the room. Could hear every step from room upstairs. Pillows seemed very old and hard.
8.0 Excellent

6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Way over priced and that did not include shampoo (out of a vending machine) or wifi ($4.99). I assume the price was jacked up because this is the midpoint of the annual Seattle to Portland bike ride, but it's still a ripoff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was nicer than I remember Motel 6, and the pool was refreshing after riding our bikes down from Seattle.
Cons: It was very expensive due to the bike ride that was coming through town and demand
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to shopping
Cons: No air conditioning in room
5.5 Okay
Cons: Strange smell in room. Asked for ID's of all adults staying in room. No fridge.
7.0 Good
Cons: Cigarette burns in the bedspread...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly courteous staff
Cons: Shower too small
5.5 Okay
Cons: AC was not working - not blowing any cool air despite being turned on max. Although non-smoking rooms, people were smoking in their doorways or in the courtyard so could not open windows.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Low cost
Cons: Many things-cleanliness, smoking, towels, poor window screen
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to the freeway
Cons: Room smelled like smoke.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Near restaurants and outlets.
Cons: The room reeked of animal, we kept the door and window opened. It was terrible, we sprayed almost a full bottle of febreeze. The comforter had a rip, could use new ones. There was a car nearby using drugs...not a safe area.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location. Clean. Quiet
Cons: Sparse and plain. No air conditioning.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Bed was fairly comfortable. Although the TV was small, there was a good selection of stations. The hotel is pet-friendly, and there are no pet fees.
Cons: The room was supposed to be non-smoking. However, clearly there have been smokers in this room. It stinks. When I said something to the front desk person she stated that they do their best, but "cheaters" smoke a lot in the rooms. She stated that they do their best to get the rooms cleaned up and they're in pretty good shape. I heartily disagree. Small TVs in comparison to other Motel 6's I have stayed in. Hair in the shower.

Overview Reviews
Welcome to the Quality Inn Centralia Chehalis hotel in the stunning Centralia and Chehalis, Washington area. This hotel is conveniently located midway between Portland and Seattle. We are walking distance to many shopping and dining facilities. An indoor sports complex and baseball fields are less than one mile from the hotel.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: To start, they tried to overcharge me, then the toilet was super slow to flush. Next the wall heater/ac unit was so noisy that we thought it was coming apart. By the morning, the toilet had fully backed up. When we tried to call the front desk to inform them of the problem, the phone was dead. We called on our cell, but the front desk didn't seem to understand the problem and acted irritated by our call. She told us that the maintenance man had left two hours earlier and she would give us another room. But with only a couple hours until check out, we didn't want to pack up and move. She said she would call us back...on what we weren't sure because our room phone was dead and she never asked for a cell number. Meanwhile, the toilet situation was becoming dire. She finally came to the door with an old, crusted with actual crap- plunger that, when used, folded up the rubber and was absolutely worthless. We ended up just filling up the toilet with waste until we left this hell hole. This was one of the worst places, at $90 a night, I was very unimpressed and after the numerous issues and bad attitude from the staff, was furious enough to call their corporate office and file an official grievance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff at the desk was amazing and helpful . I asked to have new coffee made because it had gotten lukewarm in the lobby and he immediately made a new pot ... thanks for that
Cons: the road noise in my room was off putting but tolerable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the hot tub
Cons: The snow
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The heater worked right which does not happen that often and it was very cold outside
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Non smoking, queen bed.
Cons: Next to highway noise. Windows older and not too sound reducing. Smaller room.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was available. We had been driving for most of the day and breakfast was included.
Cons: Not in particular although it was nice that the pictures on the 2nd floor were rehung correctly (someone has taken all the pictures off one of the hooks; two were needed).
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was not as described. I witnessed one of the staff hanging out with guests in the parking lot smoking pot while she was supposed to be working the front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was very impressed with the staff! They were friendly and very helpful!!! I was allowed to check in early which saved me some time. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was real food and had a great selection. I will definitely stay at a Quality Inn again every chance I get.
5.0 Okay
Pros: breakfast was good... thank you
Cons: ground floor room right next to the street and window seal is broken with very very loud street traffic. The only room they had to accommodate my dog. At first, I was told... "we don't accept Pets.".. "I don't know where booking.com is getting that we accept pets". Then I was told "we do have one room we are trying out, for pet stays... with one bed"... we accepted that. I've stayed at another Quality in Olympia with 2 queen size beds and they do accept pets. Very nice property there.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and tried to fix problems.
Cons: Breakfast spot small. Double queen room lacked a comfy chair. Air conditioner/heater would only work but flipping switch on opposite wall. Plugin was damaged and should be repaired ASAP. Room 126. Sink needed draino, water backed up. . Bathroom fan totally ineffective!! No venting. Shower rod was about ready to pull out of the wall completely, hanging by loose screws. TV very small for such a big room.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Poor food
Cons: Noise from freeway
5.8 Okay
Pros: Customer service
Cons: Dirty and power went out for two hours and nobody checked on us

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was easy to get to.
Cons: Our whole stay. Office hours are from 10am-10pm. We stayed at this place the longest. Our room started without towels. Some were brought to us, they were small and thin. We bought a plug stopper from the check in for $4. The lights were on a timer. The a/c was outdated. Between the noise from the a/c and fridge it was hard to sleep. We were awaken every morning by people sitting out their rooms talking. After we returned the first day our room wasn’t made up. We found the sign on the back of the door which said for people staying there three or more nights the room would be serviced every other day. When we returned the second day, the room still wasn’t made up. It was after 10pm. I had to pick up the towels we had left in a pile and salvage the cleanest ones which were two. By this time we noticed the bath mat had turned black because the floor wasn’t clean. We lost a towel to the bathroom floor because I didn’t want to walk on it barefoot. We returned the third night and our room STILL wasn’t serviced it was after 10pm. Our last night We returned around 8:30 and our room was STILL not serviced and by then I had had enough. The check in person said they were on vacation, apologized and FINALLY brought us clean, better towels than we were using for three days. After we had settled in for the night we had run out of toilet paper!!! It was after 10pm. When we got there it was about a quarter roll and one unopened. We could not find anymore in the room. The am pm didn’t sell toilet paper and Safeway was closed. We used baby wipes till we left at 8 the next morning. Sent an email and wrote a note about the toilet paper and the establishment didn’t respond at all. We had stayed in hotels with the same price range on our trip that were WAAAAYYY better than this place. I kept telling my kids, a place to sleep and shower don’t think about it anymore.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was the best part! Very basic accommodations but CLEAN and TIDY. Very pleasant check in. Loved the atmosphere, especially the office cat. Beautiful flower baskets, sorry Mitch I couldn’t help myself and deadheaded the basket in front of my room. Oh and across the street I attempted to make friends with the Llamas. For being 100 feet of I5 I didn’t hear much...
Cons: Maybe a few more pillows.
7.5 Good
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was clean. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The price made it a good value for my one night stay.
Cons: Older facility that has had the minimal maintenance and updating. The room was somewhat dingy, but it was clean considering. I was happy with my stay since it met my expectations for what I had booked.
7.5 Good
Pros: On the plus side the beds were nicely solid and firm. The AC worked great.
Cons: Everything was mostly decent. Did have some hair in one of the sinks in one of two rooms. Toilets were small and short. But then that's just my opinion.
6.8 Good
Cons: No ice, no coffee machine, no cups, toilet ran and didn't flush right.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was easy to find and comfortable. I would stay there again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Ac didn't work, cosmetic issues, cleanliness issues.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very polite and help full staff
Cons: Able to hear neighbors in other rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
4.0 Okay
Pros: Close to where I wanted to be.
Cons: Everything else. This hotel has no front desk, no breakfast, no pool, lousy wifi, horrible parking, scary residents, etc. It is nominally a Quality Inn property (next door). But it hasn't transitioned yet. So you don't have the upgrades or amenities you would expect - hence the really low price. For what you got though, the price still wasn't low enough. Avoid and pay $5-$10 more for something else nearby, if you are going low price.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Close proximity to where I needed to be.
Cons: Walls thin as paper. Could hear every conversation in the next room. Room smelled as if someone had smoked in there. Room seemed unfinished. No baseboards in the bathroom. Toilet consistently running. No WiFi
