the food was very good with a good choice.
Dissapointed on the first night that the bar was closed when we arrived. We couldnt get anything to eat or drink but the young man on reception did his best to apologise for this and he gave me a cup of tea
great room great location and very quiet
not a lot to do outside the hotel which is the centre of a sleepy seaside town, beware the officious gentleman who enforces a charge for the sauna despite there being no mention of a charge in english and he has all the charm of a charging bull
Great facilities, welcoming staff and great location for festivals at The Garden, Petrcane.. fun, but also relaxing if you want it to be. Suitable for all!
Hotel staff were patient and helpful. Location – a stone's throw from the beach and stumbling distance from the festival I was attending – was fantastic.
Unfortunately mine was a corner room by the guttering, and on the second night condensation at the top of the roof falling to the bottom down the pipes meant that there was a constant, loud metallic dripping that kept me awake. I asked with staff but they seemed to have no solution. Also, walls were quite thin.
The location was excellent by the sea and with a lovely pool and sunbathing area. Very handy location for the garden festival.
The staff were very rude, very unhelpful when we checked out and didn't help us with a late check out/ shower before our flight home. The quallity of the breakfast was very poor and to pay for fruit in addition to the £100 per night was a disgrace. Dated decor and poor quality food.
close to festival we were attending
the price was far too expensive for the rooms that we got as they were very shabby, the food was bad
The comfort and cleanliness of my room.
The housekeeper woke me up at 8:30 am...
Pool.
Baffled us as to how this was a four star hotel. It would be lucky to be a two star hotel in Ireland. Maybe the pool and location by the sea are good points but other than this we were appaled by hotel and we are not very fussy people. Our air conditioning worked the first day but but did not for rest of stay. Came back one night to find cockroaches running around our floor. Went down to reception to this young chap who shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do. He didn't even have spray to rid us of them. Twin beds in our room were extremely squeaky, everytime one of us turned in the bed made a very loud noise. We also requsted a double room. The walls were filthy also and chairs and tables on balcony loooked like they
Outside Bar + Gym facilities
Rooms exterior (balcon): no view on the sea because of the big walls (balcon structure) + the swimming pool was closed at 6pm + check out at 10am (non acceptable to enjoy a stay) + old decoration in all the hotel for a 4 star one.
Hotel needs refurbishment. Small swimming-pool for too many gests. Poor breakfast.
