Spotlessly clean with apparently recently refurbished rooms. Everything you might need in the room including air con, sat TV, fly screens, large fridge and even a laundry line and pegs for your wet swimwear. Nice pool area and off street parking. Owners were constantly on hand if needed. Continental breakfast was plentiful and there is a tavern across the road for daytime / evening meals.
WiFi was a little weak in my room. Bit of a walk to the beach.
The 30 metre pool, somewhat underused. Shady car parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Cleanliness. Plentiful breakfast. 50 metre stagger to a good restaurant.
Little to do in the village. A bit hard to find the hotel. Hardest bed that I have tried to sleep in, ever. My weight didn't even dent it. In contrast, my pillow gave no support whatsoever. Difficult to see properly to shave. Family bedroom a bit small - but for 65€ per night it would be churlish to complain too much.
Good parking. Nice restaurant over the road.
Pool didn't open early enough
The hosts, Saki and his wife treated us like family. They always had a genuine smile on their face and were eager to make our stay very comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent. A good selection of items plus any coffee, frappe, freddo, espresso... The pool bar was always staffed and the property was clean and tidy. It is a good spot, quiet, perfect for families and couples. Easy access to the local town of Arkoudi - you can probably walk there in about 10-15min. The very busy tourist area of Kourouta beach (lots of restaurants, boardwalk, shops) as well as the beautiful Kyllini Beaches are not too far away.
We don't have any dislikes about the property. All I can think of is that we had a rental car during our stay, so I would suggest that you would likely need a taxi or rental car to explore some of the areas away from Arkoudi and the hotel.
The family-run hotel opened in 1991 with 43 rooms and it is set amid gardens. The hotel offers reception (08:00-00:00 h), TV lounge (satellite TV), Internet corner, breakfast area, bar, fresh water pool with whirl pool, children’s section and pool bar, sun beds and umbrellas, the family runs a tavern and serves Greek dishes (approx. 50 m). All rooms have air conditioning (extra charge), telephone, satellite TV, safety box, refrigerator, bathroom with shower, WC, hairdryer, fly screens on the balcony doors and balcony or terrace. **Important: Please advise the arrival time, if the arrival is outside the reception hours!**
