Pros:The place was very clean which is not what I expected. The staff are great. The place blocks out most of the road noise so its quiet. The shower was powerful and hot. Its easy to spot from the road. It is in walking distance (and yes you can walk to these places because there are crossings going under the bridge) of a 7/11 (24 hours) a denny's (highly recommended for breakfast, especially the steak eggs and hash with bacon and cheese), a Red Neck Restaurant and Bar (this is a fantastic place to eat and drink). To be honest we walked everywhere... baseball stadium, at&t stadium which has a wallmart next to it and a restaurant/pub next to that, shootsmart gun range, Cavenders Cowboy equipment, rollercoasters. Remember even though you can walk to these places it can be disconcerting because the pavement ends randomly. The taxi's are $1 for the first person and $2 per person after that. For four people... it is a $75 taxi ride from DFW to the hotel (go to the taxi rank, beware of randoms inside trying to con you), from the hotel to the 'Cross Point' station for dallas and fort worth is $45 ($5 return, get ticket before getting on the train!!!). $65 to Gas Monkey Bar and about the same to the 'Stockyards'.
Cons:The pool isn't open all night even though the pool lights are on at night. It doesnt feel that secure even though we had no issues. The window glass looks easily broken. You really need a car, because taxi's are expensive. But this is Americas fault not the knights inn.
