Excellent 10.0
Pros: Incredible
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I went alone , booked a suite with Nile view , I`m super impressed with the room , one of the best hotels ever been
Excellent 10.0
Pros: One of my favorite hotels ever; staff was top notch, polite and always helpful. Food was incredible; great wine selection. The pool is to die for. Beautiful, clean and cold for those 110 Aswan days. Views over Elephantine island and the Nile topped off with the best sunset ever. You must stay here.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Egypt's most sublime hotel: the building, the setting, the grounds, the service, all incredible. Justifiably lauded and well worth it!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is remarkable! I'm usually a backpacker but wanted to experience this luxury resort as a bit of a treat for myself. And a treat it definitely was! My room was incredible, huge, comfortable, amazing view of the nile, complete with all high end features. The tub was a huge reason why I booked it, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff are wonderful, the history of this hotel makes it unforgettable, and the food was delicious. WiFi was perfect for work and video calls. All in all a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this place!
Cons: That I couldn't stay forever!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: All over experience Staff View is amazing
Cons: Toilet doors didn't lock completely
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. The view is marvellous.
Cons: Dining in the restaurant is a little bit pricey
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything, starting with it's position on the island, the transfer by boat, the super friendly and helpful staff and the hotel, absolutely amazing. Even the hotel's manager was there to meet and greet the guests, much appreciated. Even we got there after the restaurant's closing hour, they were kind and served us whatever we wanted from the menu. An extraordinary culinary experience, must send again our compliments to the chef and thank to the staff for being so nice, we never felt a moment being rushed or anything like this. The room was a delight and the view, the panorama of the Nile an enchantment both by night and at sunrise. After travelling a lot and seen many places, this is one place I'd go back for a week just to enjoy the hotel, it's friendly staff and the delicios food.
Cons: I don't think it's something you won't like at this place
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful scenic views and wonderful facilities as Aswan goes. Staff are always very friendly and eager to help. Best hotel in Aswan.
Cons: Movenpick is on an island, so a bit inconvenient. However, frequent ferries.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location on the Nile, well looked after
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful grounds, staff were very helpful and always friendly. Food was good.
Cons: Have to get to it by boat, so a little inconvenient. Pillows were very, very hard. Expensive for Aswan rates.
Excellent 10.0
Good 6.5
Pros: Staff was very helpful! Relaxing atmosphere
Cons: hotel is not in good shape taking a ferry to get to the hotel not convenient if you're just staying for a night to go to Abu Simbel food was expensive and poor

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Abdul has a gem on the west side of the Nile in Aswan. From the start, he helped arrange a driver to pick us up from the airport at night (sure glad we booked that!) and the service and friendly hospitality just grew from there. He helped us book a camel ride and a trip to Abu Simbel. He made us the most delicious breakfast on the rooftop each morning (the best food we had in Egypt... probably because we could tell it was made with love). He brought us to town on his boat and even helped us get to a local restaurant (helped us order and invited us for coffee afterwards). It was our honeymoon and he arranged a special "treat" for us on our last night... live musicians and dinner on the roof. I will truly cherish our time with Abdul and would highly recommend this place. A hidden gem, a unique opportunity to stay in a Nubian Village, and a kind soul.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Localisation but most of all, great atmosphere from the owner
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Abdel was a delight. Very hospitable and friendly. Exceptionally clean. Wonderful views from the terrace.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Best food we've had in Egypt. Their food is much better than in those expensive restaurants in Aswan. We enjoyed watching sunset and sunrise from the rooftop looking at the desert and the Nile. Sparkling clean. Mr. Abdel is knowledgable and took good care of us. When I go
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very cozy, staff really friendly
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We had a great stay at Bet El Kerem guesthouse. The house itself is an old Egyptian family house with a beautiful garden and sparkling clean common areas. Great rooftop with dining area and Nile view. The breakfast cooked on site every day is delicious, especially shakshuka and taameya (Egyptian falafel). Location is very convenient 5 minutes walk from the arrival of the West Bank ferry. The guesthouse also houses a travel agency which organises activities in and around Aswan (camel safari, trip to Abu Simbel, felucca ride to Kom Ombo) with excellent service providers and at prices much lower than the ones proposed on cruise ships for example. The owner Abdel is very helpful and takes care of every detail along the way. Definitely a very good pick for a 4-5 days stay in Aswan, the wonderful capital of Nubia
Cons: The only negative point was the shortage of hot water in the bathrooms' hotel, which is hard during Egyptian winter! This should be fixed soon but better to check status with the owner before arriving.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved everything. The guest house is on the West Bank which means you're isolated from the busy city and the noise. But it's also 2 mins from the local ferry which means you can reach the city in less than 10 mins for 2 pounds without any hassle unlike gharb soheil island. It's the perfect balance between calm and accessibility. The guest house is very clean and the breakfast is very good. We also had lunch twice there and it was excellent. Abu Karim, the owner, makes amazing food, is very generous with the quantities and constantly checks if we're happy and if we want anything. The roof is very cute, it's where you have breakfast/lunch and you can just chill there. They have tea and coffee available all the time, mineral water, and an assortment of fruits, all of which are free of charge. The staff is super nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay a lot, and I'll definitely be going back there.
Cons: The bathroom in our room doesn't have walls, it's in the corner of the room with curtains around it. This made it a bit uncomfortable for us to use the toilet because it's awkward when other people are in the room and also you worry about the smell. However, there are several bathrooms outside the rooms so it compensates for the room's bathroom and it didn't affect our stay at all. Using the shower in the room was good, I didn't need to use the one outside.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location over looking the tombs of the nobles which is well worth a visit. The colors are incredible. All the staff were very helpful. The food was the best we’d had in Egypt. I’m glad we chose to have dinner here. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again! Wish we had booked more than 1 night.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The silence
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This the perfect place to stay for anyone who likes to have a more personal and local experience. We liked the fact that it was a home from home with fruit, chilled water, teas and coffee to help ourselves to at any time. The house was decorated in the Nubian style, painted a bright blue with bright fabrics and soft furnishings. Its slight imperfections were its charm. The roof terrace was laid out for dining and relaxing and was cool and quiet. The garden was likewise a quiet and shady place to sit or walk round. Our host, Abdul couldnt have been more welcoming or taken more trouble to ensure our stay was enjoyable. He even did our washing and arranged for ironing. He is a great cook and serves a fresh buffet and meal in the evenings and willingly prepared vegetarian food for us. He also arranged a good driver for a return trip to Abu Simbel which was a fantastic day out (including a large packed breakfast). We really enjoyed getting the ferry to the East Bank which was quick and runs constantly.
Cons: There is nothing we didnt like
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Abdel and his staff make the enjoyment of your stay their top priority. Everyone is kind, attentive and generous. The food was delicious, the beds were clean and comfortable and whatever you may want to do for the day is at your fingertips. Bet el Kerem has been the highlight of our time in Egypt so far.

Good 7.0
Pros: The place is nice and clean but its a walking distance from the fun Nubian village, around 10-15 min walk. The staff is nice but no action is happening inside the property. The view of the nile is too far and its overlooking a very bad top view of small village houses.
Cons: The view - the fun part - the bed
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Khaled and his staff are very friendly and the place, rooms are clean I like the place
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a fabulous guesthouse. Yes, it is away from the centre of Aswan, but that is exactly what I wanted. Khaled is the perfect host, and I felt very welcome, especially as I was travelling solo. Khaled also provided transportation when need as well as arranging my tour to Abu Simbel. I highly recommend a stay at Ekadolli in the Gharb Soheil Nubian Village. It is peaceful, cultural and food is amazing. Great value for money.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was huge and confortable, room and bathroom very clean. Views of Nubian village from the hostel are great

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is very nice with an amazing view with the Nile. The people of the hotel are very competent and helpful. I recommand it
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel is in a very good location with a view of the Aswan. There's also a pool right by the dam.
Cons: The internet is only available at the reception and pub. Really not helpful as the channels in the room are basic so if wifi is a must, i wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We only stayed for 1 night and we were quite sick in bed. We hadn’t booked anything regarding the cultural part of Upper Egypt and the manager was super efficient in arranging everything for us: Nile cruise starting the next day and trip to Abu Simbel. She even charged only one night (we had booked 2 nights). She also was kind enough to prepare lunchboxes for the Abu Simbel trip, as it started at 4h AM. Swimming pool looked very nice but again, 45 degrees was just too much. Would definitely recommend staying here! Rooms were standard with good bathroom and AC.
Good 7.0
Pros: Accommodation in room 304. Location between the river and the embankment street. Security on the territory of the hotel. The presence of a pool and a terrace on the banks of the Nile. The number of rooms in the form of separate apartments.
Cons: Rooms located closer to the street can be noisy. Mosquitoes enter the room through the ventilation hole in the toilet.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location , very nice
Cons: Food and drinks need to upgrade
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything else. Cheap, comfortable, amazing pool area by the Nile, central location and an extraordinary staff. Highly recommended.
Cons: The only thing I disliked, and KEEP IN MIND, IT MAY BE COVID-19 RELATED, breakfast wasn't great. It wasn't a buffet, when you ask for breakfast they bring you food that was prepackaged the day before, so you can't choose what to eat, and it ends up with lots of food waste. Also, no fruit is offered unless you specifically ask for it.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The location is on a stunning spot on the river Nile.
Cons: The property was a let down. Its facilities are not up to the expectations of value for money. Coming from a similar price hotel in Luxor we were disappointed by the facilities and cleanliness of the Hotel. It was more like a motel than a hotel.
Good 6.0
Cons: It is not a 4 star hotel. It looks like a 2-3 star campsite. The construction is very old and an attempt was made to improve it without much success. In vain does the staff bother if the owner does not invest money. Sin...
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: The hotel was closed Permanently the day we were there to check in. They directed us to another one in the area with no transportation help.
Excellent 8.2
Okay 5.1
Pros: Staff was nice, setup a tour for us. Price was good.
Cons: Insects, had to kill 6 cockroaches during my 2 days. Bed was very uncomfortable. No Wifi in room, only in lobby, bar, and restaurant.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and kind.
Cons: I seemed to be allergic to something in the room.

Good 7.7
Pros: the location is second to none, looking at so many trees and flowers with Nile views all around.Handy motorboat service to the town. Taking a leisurely motorboat trip into the area around the hotel was magic.I saw many birds and the time of day I chose to go,4pm is just perfect for photographing the area. The room had 2 balconies it also had tv fridge a large bed and a marble ensuite. This was a little tired though but anything required was seen to by housekeeping straight away. The food was good a nice varied buffet for breakfast and evening meal.A meal from room service was fairly quick and good value.
Cons: the gardening team starting to cut down some dead trees and saw up the branches (with a chain saw )at 8am on saturday morning.I know that radical gardening has to take place to encourage new growth but spring isn't the right time, anywhere!and 8am is very early. There was not enough staff for the restaurant service by the pool and I had words re a lack of change, later resolved. The food was good though. there was no a la carte restaurant,so wanting a simple meal one evening we took the motorboat to the town.
Good 7.1
Pros: Stunning location on an island in the Nile. The ferryboat operators were especially courteous and helpful, but the entire staff showed dedication to accommodating guest service requests.
Cons: Seedy rooms and infrastructure in the main building reflected the decline in tourist visits. Could use a major cleanup and renovation.

Good 6.0
Pros: The hotel itself is lovely. In a beautiful position, lovely rooms fantastic pool area and helpful staff and generally it is very clean. Nothing was to much trouble for the reception staff and they hold the place together.
Cons: The restaurant unfortunately can be only described as second rate at best. Whilst the buffet breakfast was good and the staff were friendly the al a carte offering was a joke. Starting from there being only 1 menu for the whole restaurant ( I kid you not) the meal served up was missing the main item ( no fish for the seafood platter!) and the rest was the worst meal I have ever experienced anywhere and in any country. Sent back, credited in full and an alternative replacement meal was provided but not the dining experience you would dream of receiving from a purported 4 star hotel.. Another first for me was ordering two bottles of lager which were 'opened' at the table and one contained simply water!! Simple things like with all of the condiments sets laid out on our table and those adjacent, the salt ones were empty. Clearly the restaurant has suffered from the covid situation and has become very run down. Immediate action is required. The opportunity is there, it's in a lovely hotel in a beautiful position and could be very very good. Currently however I can only say it is very very bad.

Good 6.0
Pros: The location is good and it offers a great view of the Nile river. The stuff was also very helpful.
Cons: The restaurant was not as clean as one would hope. The internet was only available in the lobby.
Good 7.0
Pros: Beautiful view to the inner yard and Nile River from our balcony. Good beds. We had a nice fixed price dinner on a terrace of the restaurant - good value for money
Cons: Internet didn't work in the rooms - free WiFi was available only in the lobby. Empty plates of room service were standing in the corridor the whole evening till the morning. Cash machine was ranning an update and didn't want to accept my visa card.
Good 7.0
Pros: Good swimming pool, staff friendly.
Cons: A little far away to the center city, but the hotel is nice.

Pros: Clean
Cons: The tv didn’t work. The restaurant food was absolutely horrific and inedible.

Cons: Hotel was closed after booking with Orbitz and was in run down poor condition. They need to check their listings and make sure their hotels are still in business. Ana Kato did not answer my phone calls prior to arrival and Orbitz will not refund my money claiming I did not call ahead. How do you call a closed hotel? This hotel is unethical and will not refund my money claiming I did not call. The fact that Orbitz will not make things right makes it worse. DO NOT USE ORBITZ...THEY DO NOT CHECK THEIR PROPERTIES NOR TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH FAIRNESS OR RESPECT.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I stayed in Room 303 with a small balcony (view to the Corniche) and from the main window there is an amazing view to the Nubian side. The room itself was clean, also the bathroom. Friendly staff and very helpful. The rooftop terrace (with a bar, non-alcoholic drinks) on the 5th floor is a good place to watch sunset.
Cons: Wifi was currently not working
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, staff, breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff and my room. Great view of the Nile. The breakfast was also great.
Mediocre 2.5
Cons: Please don't ever try this one Not worth even writing about it by wasting my time
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything .It is false advertising. The advertising should display exactly what we were getting. It was rundown, the bathroom was dirty and broken, and smelt like cigarettes. We checked out immediately the next morning.
Excellent 8.5

Pros: Just the pool view was ok
Cons: Wifi connection terrible They charged me again even I told them I paid with booking and showed that. They have wait until I complain with booking in order to refund, if not they wouldn’t have moved a finger. They gave me 2 twin beds separated even I asked double bed Breakfast was great, many options Location not bad Bathroom has a leak so all night with the sound was annoying No safety box

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location Clean
Cons: -Room view was water treatment unit so i couldn't sleep all night because of loudness -reception refused to upgrade reservation even i have genius level 2 -reception didn't notify me that brakefast is not included .. restaurant staff didn't too and when checking out i found that i have to pay ..
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is just 50 metres from the promenade street, the personal is welcoming and helped me with any info I needed. The shower has hot water, the balcony offers a good sightseeing, which i enjoyed for few hours.
Okay 4.0
Pros: personal was very kind and friendly
Cons: very basic rooms, dirty pool, there wasn´t shampoo in the shower. no glasses or cups, the tv didn't work, etc. There woud be better hotels for the same price we paid.
Good 6.0
Pros: Basic budget hotel with a good location and a friendly staff who will try to help you out when possible.
Cons: The whole place needs a freshening. Times, though, are tough for Egyptian tourism. Nonetheless, it doesn't cost that much to clean bathroom walls and get new hooks for your shower curtains.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Great location in a no frills cheap hotel that has the basics of what you need: bathroom - clean sheets, warm blankets, good internet, great location and friendly staff who try to work with you even if their English isn't great and neither is your Arabic.
Cons: Bathrooms needed work. Dirty dirty walls. Shower curtain hanging by a few broken hooks. Toilets and sinks, etc. were clean, but everything is in desperate need of refurbishing. But then again, times are tough for the Egyptian tourism.
Okay 5.0
Pros: 1- We spend a complete day without internet due to a problem & they not able to fix it. 2- Water has been disappeared from 9 pm till 6 am morning (Only for one night)
