Pros: Comfortable & quiet,good restaurant
Cons: Small bathroom & small toilet which were separate. No air con, no fridge & no tea/coffee making facilities
Pros: Excellent little hotel with very attentive and friendly staff and excellent high end french cuisine all at reasonable prices. Fresh grapefruit juice and cooked to order fresh eggs and bacon along with a good buffet. Comfortable rooms with good bathroom facilities in a peaceful little village and easy free parking overall a real gem!
Cons: Its pretty much perfect - as long as you like really good French food and peaceful French villages !
Pros: Excellent restaurant with wide ranging choice of food and wines. Lamb and beef were superb as was Chateau Cardinal recommended by the proprietress. Bed super comfortable. Bathroom a little cramped, toiletries provided. Unfortunately the bar doesn't open until the evening. However a brasserie next door was available for a beer after a long drive.
Pros: This hotel is situated in a village a short distance from the motorway easy to find and only a few minutes from a supermarket. All the staff were very friendly and helpfull and the hotel was very clean and tidy. The restaurant is something else absolutely superb!!!!!
Pros: Central but close to fields for dog walking
Pros: Everything. The owner was so lovely. Arranged a lift to the nearest restaurant for us because their restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. The bed was amazing. The bathroom lovely and breakfast was a treat. Seriously considered staying a week! Thank you Aline!
Cons: Having to leave.
Pros: Quiet village location just 5 minutes from the Motorway at Avranches, comfortable & clean with nice breakfast on terrace overlooking the garden; friendly & pleasant staff.
Cons: We stayed on a Sunday evening, so the restaurant wasn't open and although we were recommended to try a couple in nearby villages, they couldn't accommodate us at the right time, so we ended up in a dreadful chain restaurant by the motorway. Needless to say, none of this reflects poorly on our hotel!
Pros: Clean room, a crib has been provided for free. Good location to visit mont San Michel
Cons: The restaurant was close and to have dinner we needed to take the car and drive for 5kms,which is not far but a bit uncomfortable with a small baby.

Pros: The location was close to Avranches town, we enjoyed walking to the restaurants from our accommodation. The breakfast was lovely especially the fresh fruit salad, home made jams and home made yoghurt. My husband has dietary requirements and they were catered for very well.
Cons: The room was quite stuffy and hot
Pros: Very hospitable hosts
Pros: Wonderful hosts, a beautiful place and great breakfast. Highly recommended.
Pros: Loved our hosts and breakfast
Pros: The bathroom ,although there was no soap or shower gel .....only shampoo. and .....only 1-toilet roll
Cons: The pillows were square and not comfortable at all. NO air conditioning,on a very hot night
Pros: Handy location to walk to Avranches center, including the lovely botanical gardens which have a lovely view of Mont St Michel. Lovely, spacious room, with friendly and helpful hosts. Good bathroom en-suite, and really nice breakfast including fresh figs from the garden. Great value.

Pros: It’s a traditional French hotel close to the centre of a really attractive town. The room wasn’t luxurious but had everything we needed. There was a lovely garden. The high spot was an outstanding restaurant where we ate an exceptional meal at a very reasonable price. The restaurant was full of French customers on a Tuesday evening. The bonus was Avranches, a town/ city full of independent shops and a splendid castle with wonderful views. And, of course, perfectly situated for le Mont St Michel. We’d certainly go back.
Cons: Nothing, really. We commented that, as we’ve noticed elsewhere, the lighting in the restaurant lacked subtlety!
Pros: The restaurant was superb and strongly recommend all guests should experience it!
Cons: Would have personally preferred freshly made coffee and tea at breakfast rather than machine
Pros: Location and cleanliness plus very efficient personnel, although lacking in conviviality.
Pros: The location is good for Mont Saint Michel and the garden is nice to sit out in.
Cons: Grubby, old decor (apparently their idea of budget really IS budget here), over-priced considering that breakfast was not included, WiFi very poor in the room block at the end of the garden and staff looked down their noses at us (we were below apparent minimum age of 70). They did not care if we were happy or if our stay had been good.

Pros: The staff was great and even though we could not make it in the check-in time (until 8 PM) they left us instructions on how to get in. Really appreciate it. The breakfast experience is great. Mont Saint-Michel is just about 10 minutes driving time.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great.
Pros: Good location short drive from Mt St Michel Great place to explore Normandy
Pros: Location is good. Room comfortable and clean.
Cons: Far away to restaurants. Breakfast was poor.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Happy with all that the hotel could be a offer.
Pros: The room was great
Cons: The breakfast was too expensive for what it was. Only one croissant per person, and no chocolate rolls....

Cons: Rooms rather small.
Pros: Location and breakfast.
Cons: Shower room far too small.
Pros: Continental breakfast was good with good selection. Location for the town was good and in a quiet spot
Cons: Options for good french restaurants in the town are a bit limited, but we found one in the end-Le Bristrot de Pierre. Quite a lot of pizza restaurants
Pros: Did not eat,bed very comfortable
Cons: Quite spot.No tea or coffee
Pros: Private off road parking.
Cons: The tiniest bathroom and shower space ever.Totally inadequate and impossible for a large person. No restaurant on site.

Pros: Nice place with good equipment. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful room and bathroom.
Pros: i like the location. Good value for money.
Cons: Nothing. Everything is perfect for me.
Pros: The breakfast was very good, the location was selected as there was a restaurant next door and various others in the vicinity, but all were closed at the end of June on a Monday!!
Pros: The friendly and helpful owner.
Pros: Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast adequate.
Cons: Cushions on the sofa was covered in dog hairs and sofa smelled of badly of dog. As my wife is allergic to dogs, if it wasn't for antihistamine tablets, we would have had to leave. We expected to have an en suite with a toilet! Our toilet was out of the room and situated under the stairs leading to other rooms!
Pros: Amazing breakfast
Cons: Room very hot
Pros: Good size bedroom and bathroom, easy to find.
Cons: We felt that we should have had some soap in the bathroom, it is many years since we have stayed anywhere which did not offer either a small tablet of soap or liquid soap. This is a lovely area and there is a Logis next door with a restaurant, however if the Logis is full then the restaurant is unable to accept diners. There was another restaurant in the hamlet, however it appeared to have shut down, possibly for the autumn or permanently. We had to travel some 15 minutes to find somewhere open. It is fine for just an overnight stop without dining.

Pros: Very good breakfast. The very kind employees. All clean. Comfortable.
Cons: There was no air conditioning.
Pros: Good location on access road to Arromanches from South. Room availability at short notice.
Cons: Unmanned reception after 22:30. Wasn’t made obvious how to access WIFi. No soap in the room. Breakfast was pretty mediocre.
Located between Saint-Malo and Granville, just a few minutes away from the 8th Wonder of the World, the D-Day landing beaches. the ibis Avranches Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel hotel and restaurant is the ideal base for exploring Normandy. The hotel also offers 66 rooms (including 3 for people with reduced mobility) all equipped with Sweet Bed by ibis bedding, private bathroom, flat-screen TV and free WIFI.
Cons: Clean and friendly
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff (everyone I encountered) made what could have been an impersonal chain hotel into a welcoming destination. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Bar food also was good - if you chose wisely.
Cons: The location was 5k from the centre of Avranches - and in an industrial estate type area. This wasn't a real problem as I, and I suspect most guests, are travelling through the region.
Pros: nothing special
Cons: on the highway, noisy
Pros: The hotel was perfectly located for our trip to Mont St Michel. We had a great pizza in the restaurant in the evening & breakfast was lovely too.
Cons: The hotel is a bit our of the way but as we used the on site restaurant it didn’t affect our stay.
Cons: Pre-authorisation payment was taken after I booked despite the claim on the website that this would be reversed. It had not reversed when I came to check out but I was still initially expected to pay for a second time, until I complained...!!
Pros: Stayed here before and will stay again. Always friendly always helpful. Thank you to all the staff. Remembered to being a kettle this time ale wi- fi is much improved
Pros: Although the room was compact, it was so well designed that space was not an issue and it was very clean and very comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Dinner was good, and breakfast excellent. Parking was easy and secure. It easily outclassed another hotel chain we stayed in later in the week.

Cons: Restroom on not always clean
Pros: Easy to find. Cheap price. Usual breakfast for a budget price. Booked on line.
Cons: Asked for disabled space and room by entrance sent an e mail to say that was fine. Room was on third floor no lift. How do they expect me to get a wheelchair up there.Furious what part of disabled dont they understand. More furious that they said the had accommodated my request
Pros: Very good and pleasant staff.
Pros: The location is great 30 min drive from St. MICHEL Mont, the ibis opposite has a good restaurant and you get 15% off the food! Nice friendly staff.
Cons: The noise from other guests which can't be helped! Not as clean as other F1's.
Cons: Showers and toilets very dirty, I didn't had the courage to take a shower
Pros: Very basic chain hotel, though it was clean and functional enough. Cleaning lady found that I had left my wallet and brought it out to me, what a lifesaver!
Cons: Shared showers were very smelly. Receptionist was rude.
Pros: Quiet and comfortable. Good value for money.
