We booked the hotel for the third time and didn't regret it. Gorgeous Alps views from our balcony, good and varied breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Great location of the hotel is allowing to get to all attractions in the town by walking. If you come by car, for example, you can get to Salzburg or Konigsee Lake during 15 minutes.
Good breakfast. Clean rooms with nice balcony. Decent, quiet location with 10/15 min walk to centre of town and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
No problem connecting to Wifi, but Internet access was sketchy and basically unusable.
Only the balcony
You will find very few choices for breakfast; there is no coffee machine at all; they serve you only black coffee and some milk on request. I can not think a hotel without a coffee machine in their breakfast zone, awful!! The woman serves the breakfast is a mare racist; probably she expects only the German tourists; she does not speak English too. Strange!!! My advice to the hotel manager is to change their attitude towards the foreign guests and to learn how to handle clients with nice behavior and friendly manner regardless of their nationality.
The staff is super friendly, everything is clean, the breakfast was super delicious most of the time, the hotel is close to the thermal bath if you're into this.
They claim this to be a *** hotel which I doubt it is. Everything is old and has that shabby feel to it. I would say it's a very good ** hotel. The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable for me. Very soft. The bathroom is incredibly small so you can barely turn around in the shower. Although the breakfast was great, they lowered the standard on the last day of our stay (Monday) where everyone was gone, and the pastry was not fresh. We were offered a "welcome drink" from the bar/fridge for free and we could then take any drink and pay for it at the end of our stay. Well... it inevitably created a lot of confusion at the end of our stay and the nice emotion from having a welcome drink was suddenly gone. Better just get rid of it and lower the prices which are currently as high as in a pub.
breakfast was excellent
