Service was exemplary. Loved spa facilities. Food was fabulous. Hotel is charming.
Housekeeping missed crumbs on bathroom floor from last guests, which remained the entire weekend of our stay. Spa was overcrowded (locker room and relaxation room). Front desk failed to tell us at check in that our room would be right outside elevator which rang early in the morning and late at night and we could hear voices of guests. Also, hotel needs more convenient parking.
Nice resort in the woods
We liked the hiking, the location near to the town, the facilities and the historic but nice and well-maintained guests rooms.
They missed cleaning our room.
The staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. The accommodations are beautiful. I would have liked the porch to be swept off and the chairs wiped off. It would be beautiful in the Fall.
We only noticed a build up of dust on the mirror in the bathroom and that the porch could have been swept.
