Reviews about The Old Vicarage
“Great location for seeing local beauty spots and the fantastic Northumberland coast. Excellent local produce used for the breakfast cooked to a high standard. Friendly hosts.”
“This is a very small b+b but beautifully renovated and in keeping with its period. My friend and I stayed in the twin room which was cosy and comfortable with a garden view of the church graveyard. Very quiet neighbours and well behaved! The bathroom is separate to the room and does not have a shower. It does however have a stunning original roll top Victorian bath that was amazing and the perfect way to soak those aching muscles after a long day of walking around Holy Island. The breakfast here is amazing and I enjoyed every last mouthful. The hosts are so kind and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They even sorted out my wetsuit, costumes and towels and dried them so we didn’t have to have them drying in the room. It’s not super duper fancy but it is clean, friendly and is a beautiful characterful building. I have loved my stay here and I will be booking in again. Amazing value for money and the breakfast is one to return for again.”
“The choice And the cooked food were first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Annette and Keith were very friendly and knowledgeable about their local area.”
“Breakfast was great and location central for all trips.”
