“The hotel makes a good first impression from outside. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was quite clean, but it could have been cleaner in general. I didn’t really get why it’s called „Märchenhotel“ since there were only some pictures in the hall showing legends from the area. There were also some small decorations in the dining hall, but besides that, it was relatively normally decorated. Breakfast was good, so was dinner at the steak restaurant. There were some flaws, that are can happen but it could have been handled differently. We once got cold coffee and talking to one of the waitresses, we got a replacement but the waitress was totally annoyed and showed it. Our door sign was broken and it wasn’t replaced even though we displayed it too be replaced. The hotel has a little bar/club in the building. There was a celebration on a Saturday and we had the music on full blast until half past 1 am. The club was right underneath our window. Even closing the window did not help. When we departed, we told the receptionist about the mistakes. They thanked us for the information so they can improve. I hope they will, it could be quite good.”
