Have stayed here a few times before. The hotel overall is good.It is clean ,The breakfast ,has a large selection, to choice from.Had a large double room, with it own sitting room.View across the pool,to the sea. The breakfast staff very good.
Paying for a sun lounger, find this very irritating. The staff on the reception, could do with some customers training,I have said this before. The first time I stayed here,it had the feel of a family run hotel, were the guest ,were important, that has been lost somewhere along the way.Check in/out could be better.A kettle in the room would be nice.
Modern hotel just in front of the sea and with a private rocky beach on amazing clean waters. I enjoyed the calm and tranquillity of both the hotel and the small town Postira. Recommend choice if you wanna stay out of the crowd and just relax and enjoy sunsets. Room very clean and staff friendly and pretty kind. Food ok.
Perhaps they should not charge for a sunchair and umbrella, but you can do without
Perfectly located - views and pool and ‘beach’ Nice touches everywhere eg left-behind-book library, aircon kicks in automatically when the windows shut. Pool a good size and we liked the landscaping around the sea-side of things. We had a one bed suite with sea view. It was spacious - had all we wanted - 2 stove, fridge etc. Easy walk to the main harbour and restaurants, going the other way afforded a different cove and great stargazing opportunities. The staff were all friendly, proactive, efficient, English speaking and professional. The room was pristine and tidied every day. Comfy beds and good linen. Towels quality and soft. The restaurant was good - and the breakfasts plentiful and high quality: several cold meats and cheeses, selection of salads, selection fresh fruits, breads and croissants and pastries, selection jam (via dispensers which was novel and good), several egg dishes, sausages and bacon, juices and coffees, cereals and muesli and toppings, lots of teas and hot chocolate.
Nothing to be honest. I would recommend they perhaps get a list of fish you can see while snorkelling. Oh - it would be good to forewarn guest of music nights. It wasn’t unpleasant at all but if you aren’t expecting it and don’t know how long it may go on for then can be a bit off putting. This season seems to be Wednesday - a live band playing til 11.30 - and a Dalmatian folk band on Friday - finished earlier.
Rude waiters at breakfast. Housekeeping knocked on the door very early. The hotel is old and could use some renewing.
- great location - friendly and professional staff (+ there is always enough staff available) - good equipment (especially the suites) - the hotel does things properly (no cutting corners) - very good a la carte restaurant - people quarrel here about paid sun beds. I think it is a plus in this case. The fee is symbolic (under 2 EUR/day) and it prevents guests from unreasonable grabbing of sun beds
- some prices at the pool bar are unreasonable (something is cheap, like coffee or cocktails, but something else, e.g. beer, is surprisingly expensive) - bad and loud music a bit too often (I am not sure whether hotel guests really require this cultural enrichment - the restaurant was always half empty when there was some music performance compared to when guests could enjoy just the fabulous view and mutual conversation) - a bit more maintenance of small things could be done throughout the Winter (squeaky doors, not working lights here and there)
