The only thing to like was the location.
Everything except the location. The room was tiny, not particularly clean. The bathroom was so small a man or a taller woman would have struggled to get into the shower, or even sit on the toilet. The shower ran hot, cold and scalding without adjusting the tap and shower head only pointed towards the wall, and not the person having the shower. We checked out a day early, even though room was paid for as it was so horrible.
The bathroom was tiny, the shower was barely big enough to actually be able to wash in; elbows particularly touch both walls. The bed was uncomfortable and the kettle lead was so short it wouldn't reach the power point from the table, so making tea took place from the floor! Despite putting up the do not disturb door sign, the maid had knocked and opened the door which woke me up with a shock one morning! As the lift is so small, it can take a long time to wait for it to arrive AND actually have space to fit more than 1 adult in. The staff were otherwise pleasant and helpful, it's just a shame the facilities let down the hotel overall.
Staff were very helpful and spoke good english
The shower was too small!!!! And the lift with luggage
This is a very basic hotel, with its great central location being the only thing it has going for it. However the staff on the front desk are very helpful and polite and parking is available nearby at 15 euro per day.
As the saying goes in relation to our room, "too small to swing a cat". And a cat would barely fit in our bathroom, the smallest I have ever seen - using it was an exercise in calisthenics. There was mould in our shower, and the whole bathroom looked as though it needed a complete makeover. The very basic breakfast is very expensive at 11 euro per person.
The location is perfect - central but quiet, just a few minutes walk from the main attractions but with great bars and restaurants immediately to hand.
The rooms could do with a bit of attention decor wise. Very small shower!
