Staff were friendly and informative and spoke English which was useful. The pool looked nice although we didn't have time to use it. Booked very last minute, fairly late at night And the check in process was still smooth. Luggage storage the next day was very useful. The cafe downstairs where we bought breakfast was great with very friendly staff. Shower was a good pressure.
The bed was really uncomfortable. Could feel all the springs and we both slept really badly. The patio doors were difficult to open. The shower over bath was grotty. Mould etc and felt dirty. You get what you pay for!
Localization, close to Brasilia's shopping, for a god value dinner price.
Price, as everything in Brasilia Hotel Zone. One night there was people screaming and arguing in the corridor, around midnight.
The standard of the room are mixed. They are reasonably spacious and quite clean, although the linen was tired and smelling like used. Air conditioning is an issue throughout the hotel, either the condenser is virtually inside the room making a hell of a noise or it is outside but the internal unit badly patched and leaking on your head the condensed water. On arrival you will be welcomed by staff not belonging to the aparthotel but the Garvey Park Hotel which is leasing part of their rooms to them. As a result they tend to be quite uninterested, although they will get you sorted out. A big problem is that you will be asked to pay in full even before seeing the room, and this is something I really hate. You must insist on getting a RECEIPT (not a fiscal note or invoice, as this is only possible from the aparthotel staff in office hours during weekdays) Otherwise there is no proof of you handing any money! Said that, when I asked for my invoice to the person in charge of aparthotel Brasilia he reported having problems in emitting anything and promised to email it... I am still waiting for t after 3 working days. I arrived late and found a good sized room, quite clean, bathroom recently renovated but quite bare. Only one pillow for person, no kitchenette (what you expect in an aparthotel is this!), and had to sleep without turning on the noisy air conditioning. Lighting is extremely bright like an operation theatre and you do not have bedtable lamps so they hit your eyes when lying down on your bed. Next day I complained and was given a 'potential room being freed in two days' to which I answered that I did not want to wait that much and was leaving if not changed to a proper one. They then offered what was clearly an upgraded one...although with the air conditioning unit patched with tape! It was not working well but I sensed it was better to accept this trade off. At least we had two pillows for person, dinner table and kitchenette this time.
It's an hotel with a good cost/benefits
It doesn't have breakfast.
