Hotel Lazuren Briag

Got an upgrade: a room with three beds instead of a twin double. Decent breakfast, more of the continental type than of the buffet type, but quite OK. Towels. Late check-in. Close to the beach (but beware of the shortcut to the coast: the slope there is very slippery and steep). Really convenient for having a late/ early departure/arrival: one can easily reach the airport just by walking!

No promised kettle. Neighbours just talking in the adjoining room after midnight, but quite audible! Highly slippery and therefore very dangerous floor in the bathroom (probably cleaned with a washing liquid). Typical for many budget European hotels absence of a shower cabin (though there is enough space for it!): just a sink hole in the floor...

A nice, basic hotel near the airport. We only stayed for one night before we continued on to Varna, but it had anything you'd need - a clean shower, a comfy bed and a kettle in the room. The reception staff stayed until 1am waiting for us, because our plane was late.

There isn't much to complain about, given the price. The rooms are basic, but perfectly serviceable. The sea view isn't amazing, as our balcony faced an empty plot (which maybe used to be a restaurant?), but that's hardly the hotel's fault.
