Pros: Beautiful hotel and great breakfast. Wish I could have stayed longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a side ocean view suite. It was extremely comi and spacious with an awesome view. Amazing breakfast on terrace with direct sea view. Squash, gym and spa I did not use because of the Virus. We‘ll return when the crisis is over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an ultra modern designer hotel. There is a lot of use of grey and concrete and glass in the design with low lighting. It could be in danger of being a little depressing but actually manages to translate this feeling to calm. It is really cleverly designed with large user friendly areas and views of the sea from every floor. The breakfast is the best choice I have ever had ....I can’t fault it. The bedroom was extremely well appointed...I loved it all and would go back. Also we were shown around the spa but didn’t use it as only there for 2 nights. It looked amazing.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and view is superbe! the architecture and design is impressive. we liked the style and design of our rooms The breakfast buffet is excellent.
Cons: although there were not too many guest in the hotel the staff was not very attentive. There was rarely a smile. and you had to approach them fo additional service (e.g. order another drink) instead of being asked for it.

Pros: Huge room, love the style, nice view sea/montain. Lovely staff, tasty breakfast, breathtaking view from the rooftop swimming pool and delicious food served. Everything was perfect. 9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, clean and the beds were massive! I kept loosing my wife to the other side. The view from our balcony was amazing, be able to watch the sun set every night from our room was well worth paying the extra money for a sea view. Breakfast was very yummy! A wide selection of cooked, continental and fresh fruit and yogurt. There was always a themed night with dinner, it was nice to see that there wasn't chips on the menu every night but a good selection of meat, fish and salads. I can imagine if you are a fussy eater then this isn't the best option for you. The staff were extremely good, clearing your plate straight away, always giving you the warmest of welcomes. Ze at reception, Christine and Carina stood out in particular.
Cons: The only thing i could fault was the ambience at dinner could have been slightly more romantic with candles and some music.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Be careful holding the rails in the lifts as it is easy to catch your fingers on the panel above.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel was fine, but for a 4 star hotel not to enforce their dress code for the restaurant for dinner was not appropriate.
Cons: See above.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well where to start. On arrival we were greeting by a very happy a welcoming Zé. His English was excellent and was always ready to help, as we’re the other staff on reception. We took or bags to our room, which Zé had upgraded as when we booked we had booked for a mountain view but soon realised that the sea view rooms where for superior due to the amazing sun sets they have. Once unpacked we down to pool for drink and a bite to eat, returning 15mins later to the room, we notice they had popped in and left a great fresh fruit selection for us to enjoy in the room. All of the staff were brilliant and tried to do everything and anything they could to make our stay outstanding. The buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner had a wide variety and was always delicious and topped up regularly. With table service for drinks in the afternoon and evening meals. Although we did eat out a couple of nights down by the marina, the hotel reception staff were able to make reservation on our behalf. The pool area was great with an outside bar with a great selections for cocktails (try the poncha, it’s a must have!) wine and beer on draught. There lots of sun bed around the 2 outside pools and great little sun trap on the decking area above which is quiet of you want a chilled day (also a sun terrace is situated on the roof of the 5th floor which apparently no one else knew about because it was somewhere that was never busy, a great place for a bit of peace and the views from there are great) on out 3rd we ventured in to the spa area. The sauna and steam rooms were an amazing was to detox after a few too many the night before and the indoor pool was kept to a nice warm temperature (we went in January). Every evening there was live entertainment from traditional Madeiran dancer to karaoke to a live magic show. A fantastic place for all ages groups and people. there’s not enough good things I can say. It was amazing. We will be returning!
Cons: There were no cockroaches or mosquitos. We were so disappointed.

Pros: Entertainment, staff, good food quality, location.
Cons: Good eco credentials claimed, but could stop putting cling-film over fruit, and supplying water in plastic bottles.

Pros: Great staff. All inclusive was good with plenty of choice. Location was on the beach with nice harbour side cafes nearby. Our suite was large and well appointed. There was no problem in us having lunch after vacating our room. Manager viable and taking active role engaging guests.
Cons: It was v busy over Christmas and coffee machines often ran out of supplies leadings to queues. Getting a table at a la carte was almost impossible (we managed to get a lunch slot which was v good)

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place was very modern and the balcony view was amazing (amazing sunset). It has all the necessary amenities and even a swimming pool, a fireplace and a billiard table. The breakfast was very good. Other guests seemed to enjoy the local hiking paths (which we did not manage to visit).
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable and the blankets not warm enough. The location can also be a bit problematic without a good car, as there are no good grocery/ food options in a walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good and varied breakfast. We liked that we could make tea and coffee any time and have use of the kitchen. The room was very spacious and the view from the balcony was fantastic.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful! Good breakfast and the overall atmosphere was great (Architecture/Interior, Pool table, wine bar, ...).
Cons: The beds are very hard.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent view, relaxing atmosphere in the nature. Very kind and caring staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the most beautiful accomodation in Madeira for us. Staff, delicious breakfast, really stylish interiors and exteriors, pool, fireplace... Very quiet. And the views of sunset - just amazing. That's why we decided to spend there more than one night. Thanks!
Cons: The wifi could work better in the rooms. That's it;-) Anyway, it is better to enjoy the place and views than being online.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is just amazing with a breathtaking view! Very nice traditionnal house with a touch of modernity. Not a sound at night, only nature, ocean and a small levada.
Cons: It really lacks some service. The house is quite isolated so a small food menu would be much appreciated (we skipped diner to avoid driving at night). Or You can shop and use the kitchen. The service is quite minimum. To be noted: the road leading to the house is really steep!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view on the sea, swimming pool, spacious room, very cleaned spaces and good breakfast!
Cons: Just the walls of the room were thin, we could hear clearly people talking on the stairs

Pros: Beautiful hotel fabulous views. Nice host helpful receptionist. Would recermend such a nice place.
Cons: There was no choice of deserts plus they forgot to bring our starters. Poor service in restraunt for a la carte. The breakfasts at previous hotels was of better quality. Such a shame.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful, always smiling. The food was very good, especially the breakfast. The room we had looked out over the garden with a fantastic view of the atlantic ocean. The hotel is very eco friendly, the hire cars from the hotel were all electric and exceptional value.
Cons: The pillows on the bed were very flat and a little old, otherwise there was nothing to complain about.

Pros: It's an exquisite small hotel with all you could ask for. Staff are friendly and extremely accommodating. If you just want to relax and read by the pool then it's ideal. There are walking tours and sightseeing trips that you can join if doing nothing is not your thing. The hotel has electric cars for hire in keeping with their eco friendly policies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff and owner.
Cons: A couple of the four dinners we had were a bit uninspiring but overall the food was good.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good service, service personnel is very kind, helpful. Meals. Wide selection of food for breakfast. A lá carte menu is tasty and good quantity. Nice wiev from the hotel.
Cons: Smoking guest all over the place. (Outside the building smoking is not restricted. You can even smoke during meals if you eat on the terrace.) That is on one hand disgusting, on the other hand in a hotel, there should be a designated smoking (or in this case at least a non smoking) place like in most European countries. No refridgerator in the room. No air conditioning. If you can open your window, and it has a mosquito net installed, and nobody is smoking below, it is not a problem. Few tv channels, and only Portuguese speaking.
7.1 Good
Pros: - good breakfast - clean garden - large room
Cons: - safe costs 1€ and it’s not mentioned in the room - feels like a German-oriented hotel (some information only presented in German, not even English) - pool was closed at 7.30pm for chlore treatment (could be done later?) - very warm room with no fan - amenities in the bathroom look cheap for a 4* hotel - car park close to Quinta is small, may have to park a bit further away
