Excellent 10.0
Pros: Exceptional staff, including Jada and Daphne and the owner. Spacious room with large windows, spacious bathroom, lovely breakfast on the terrace, wonderful central location.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location and room were incredible. We were delayed because of the fires near the airport, but the receptionist stayed up to ensure we got a tour of the palazzo, even if it was 1am! Room was lovely and we had a great stay in Catania.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is the breakfast set up could be better. We weren't sure what our options were and it was a bit confusing as there was no menu, so the waiters relied a lot on you coming up with ideas of what you wanted. We eventually just ordered some things as we saw other tables had it. But overall this is a really minor thing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Unassuming from the outside, the interior of this hotel is simply amazing - quirky, beautiful, something for all tastes. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the square was delightful, and the roof terrace was a lovely bonus. Ortygia bathroom goodies too. The location is fantastic - just 30m from the cathedral, with the fish market and the amphitheatre each on the doorstep too.
Cons: The taxi arranged by the hotel from the airport was 30 euros for a 7km trip
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Really nice location, and very helpful and attentive staff - we left very happy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms and facilities. Extraordinary breakfast. Great location.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners are amazing. They really care about their guests. You can tell in their attention to detail. Also the rooms have memory foam beds. They are stiff but great! Awesome location.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. Understand staying here you are at the center of everything. With that comes noise at night. Just bring something to mask it if you are I light sleeper. I can sleep in all conditions and loved it.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic location. Great communication with us - stayed up till quite late in the night to check us in. The breakfast spread along with the view from the kitchen is gorgeous! Everything is at a short walking distance from the house. The room itself was beautiful, very well equipped. The hosts also guided us well for our day out in Catania as well as a day out in Siracusa. I couldn't have asked for something better!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent stay! Fantastic room, perfect location, great breakfast and super kind and friendly hosts.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Francesco and Christina are very friendly and helpfull. The room was super clean and very comfortable. The best location in the City center.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Francesco and Mariacristina are very lovely, kind, and helpful hosts! We received recommendations what to see in Catania and where to eat. They made sure we had memorable stay. Francesco prepares tasty and big breakfast every morning. He was kind enough to make it early for us last day when we had to leave to the airport. The location is just amazing, few steps from the main square, wow! Our apartment was very spacious, well-equipped, and clean. We had very good stay over there, grazie!
Cons: Some small details which could be improved to make it even better. Check-in could be a bit faster. Walls in the apartment could use some painting. Keep in mind that you are staying in the central point of the city so it might be a bit noisy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All was good. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location of the B&B is perfect on the beautiful Via Crociferi, walking distance from most of the main sites. I stayed in the Yasmin room which was huge and palatial with high ceilings, made me feel like a princess :) It was nice staying in such a historical building. The view from the balcony was great too. Teresa was a great host and very helpful. Breakfast was nice with lots of cakes.
Cons: The WiFi didn't work very well in the room but was okay in the common area. As it's located near restaurants it can be quite noisy at night in the weekend, but that's what you get for a central location I guess. It's worth noting that the bathroom is separate to the room but only just across the corridor. The shower itself wasn't great but okay for 1-2 nights.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Kind owners, the room is beautifully decorated and it is very well located in Catania
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed for 10 nights in Crociferi B&B. It has a perfect location to Center of Catania with big, beautiful and clean rooms. And it was quiet at nights. Teresa was very helpful with great informations about Catania and Sicily. So if you like to be spoiled with really good breakfast and feel the sicilian soul and hospitallety, this is definitely the place. We are giving our best recommendations. Verner & Joan
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Teresa is a wonderful host! we felt at home and can't wait to be back. Thank you Teresa and please do cuddle Airon on our behalf! Alice e Francesco
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location is great close to nice restaurants and bars, place is cosy and neat, breakfast was ok (not exceptional as advertised by booking.com). Private parking available at the property (with additional fee). Clean place.
Cons: We didn’t have a great experience here, specially at checkout. In the booking confirmation it said check-out was 10-10:30am. Regardless of that, Teresa was really upset when we left at 10:30am. There was a sign in the hotel saying checkout was at 9am, which we didn’t see. She opened the door just before 10.30am very annoyed with the fact that we hadn’t left yet. Still, my booking confirmation said until 10.30. When we left she said “I think you booked the wrong place for your visit”, which I agreed with. Besides the unpleasant farewell, the previous night we mistakenly parked on a different slot. She had pointed out the area we could park in if our original place was taken. We parked on the side she pointed but not on the exact spot. You should mark it so no one gets confused and you end up upset and telling off guests. Breakfast is 7-9am, don’t expect any flexibility if you want to leave earlier for Mt. Etna, or have breakfast later. This place is for quiet travelers. I wouldn’t go with my partner there. It felt like boarding school. I wouldn’t go back.

Good 6.0
Pros: Big, clean room and great location
Cons: If you expect the breakfast you see on the pictures, it’s a scam. You get the breakfast in a cardboard box and you have to eat it in your room. Very little choice as well. Tip: ask a voucher and eat it at café it comes from
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The lobby and room were absolutely beautiful! So peaceful and relaxing! Great location close to the main area of town that a short walk can get you to the main attractions.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly and suggested a unforgettable excursion on Etna with an amazing guide. Strongly recommended.
Cons: The room was very close to the reception and it was a little bite noisy.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I overall really liked the place. The staff was very friendly, they called me a day before our arrival to ask about our preferences for breakfast which was really nice. The room looks bigger in the photos but it was enough for us. Also shower was really comfortable!
Cons: The room was straightaway next to the reception so we heard everyone come in and out.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: High ceilings, high doors and windows- updated restroom and lighting. Like a palace trip into the past- we loved it. Complete breakfast with local sweet pastries and meats, with yogurt, juice and more. Friendly-helpful. Special place! Catania has alot to explore in the city ( interesting amphitheater also)
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was huge. Bed very comfortable. .We had to leave early on the second morning and we were given a voucher for breakfast at the nearby cafe which was very good.
Cons: Unfortunately the breakfast buffet wasn’t available due to Covid-19 restrictions so we received it in our room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: In one word - Clara!! She wins! The care and awareness that she showed for her guests and her city, with great tips and ideas for everything we wanted to do, was simply fantastic. She read our minds!!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the bathroom! Cute room and decorations.
Cons: It was empty when we arrived. No check in staff or other guests around.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff and tasteful decorated rooms. Beautiful breakfast terrace.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Liberty Hotel is a gem and a welcoming safeheaven for a tired tourist! We enjoyed our stay there very much and were very satisfied with our lovely room, the beautiful hotel hall and pretty terrace where we had a plentyful breakfast (I recommend the hot chocolate!) Above all, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Silvio was so helpful and proactive and he went out of his way to help us have the best experience of Catania: he helped with our parking arrangement, gave us detailed recommendations for our stay and many restaurant suggestions: everything we tried based on his advice was great. He also organized a very kind attention for us as our trip was for a special occasion. And he warned me that I had forgotten my coat before I even realized it myself and made sure I got it back before leaving Sicily. What an amazing experience we had!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome service. Nice location, rather calm for been so close to the center.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff are excellent, rooms are charming, breakfast is superb, location is very central, everything was done faultlessly
Cons: Parking is limited, but we were lucky and got a spot right outside so I shouldn’t really complain
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is beautiful designed, quiet, clean. It is situated in a tranquil neighborhood, but close to the city center. The rooms and the bathrooms are big and comfortable. The staff is very, very kind and helpful. We had there an excellent stay. We will sure come back here. Thank you!
Cons: All was great!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very beautiful and spacious Rooms (photos don't do justice). Great staff. Special thanks to Silvio and Valentina. And also thanks to the cleaning lady for making the room spotless. Location is great. Lots of restaurants and bars around. 10 mins walk to the center. Parking: great place. Always found a free parking around the hotel. Breakfast is good.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Wifi was good. Relatively close to Catania plaza. Staff accomodating at every step.
Cons: Victorian era styling (not used to this style in hotels). Television didn't work in room.
Excellent 10.0
The hotel is very well located though it might not look like that by first impression. It is a lovely old hotel with a beautiful interior. We loved the hotel's design. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room we had was very nice and spacious. It was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and they offered granita with brioches. It's a good way to start your day of exploring this island. Only minor con for me is the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room. I just expected complimentary amenities such as these from a 4-star hotel.
Excellent 10.0
We stayed at the Liberty Hotel for two nights at the end of our two week holiday in Sicily. We decided to stay here as it was very convenient to the city centre and also for the airport. We booked a suite which was on two levels with the bedroom and huge bathroom upstairs and the downstairs had a huge sitting room that led out to a beautiful patio. The entire hotel is immaculate and the staff are so nice. We stayed bed and breakfast and there was a huge range to suit all tastes. The decor of the hotel is very elegant and ornate, we simply loved everything about it. The walk to the city centre is only 15-20 mins and there are many shops bars restaurants to visit along with historic sites and tours.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location! Carmelo is such a nice person, always responsive and willing to help.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Carmelo is a very kind host always available for tips. At my arrival he introduced me to the beauty of the historic listed building of the B&B. My room was very spacious, really well furnished and pleasantly very clean. AC is a must in Sicily during summer and it helped to have a great sleep together with the double glazed big window which stopped any possible noise coming from outside. The B&B is perfectly located in the centre of Catania, a few steps to the cathedral, right close to the famous fish market and restaurants as well as the main Via Etnea with all the shops. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions it’s not allowed to have a breakfast by the B&B. However Carmelo arranged for a voucher to be used by a well known and elegant café nearby with a rich selection of Sicilian delicatessen. I highly recommend staying at Carmelo’s B&B. You will enjoy it for sure!
Cons: I simply enjoyed everything!
Good 7.5
Pros: The size of the room was great and the location of the room couldn't be any more central. The bedding was ever so comfortable.
Cons: Be ready for 2 flight of stairs. The planks of the bedroom platform were squeaking all night as soon as you moved in your bed. The shower enclosure needs some maintenance
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was great! Carmelo is great! He helps with any issue, gives great advice, tells history, and take care of his guests! Hi recomended!
Cons: A little bit hard for parking, but Carmelo helps. Just ask!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location super central! Extremely professional and welcoming owner. Clean and large room and bathroom with personality. Good price. Very quiet aircon that you control yourself. Cool UNESCO listed building. Lots of charm.
Cons: Very noisy - old building, could hear neighbour's every word, and the fan, flush, footsteps etc. from rooms adjacent and above. Also people coming and going outside my door. A few times it was so loud I thought somebody was actually IN my room. But street noise was really limited, and with earplugs you would probably be fine.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Extremely central location vlose to many restaurants and bars and just outside of the main square.
Cons: The room was so hot we couldn't sleep. The AC in the room was set up to 16 degrees throught the whole night but it felt like there was no cooling at all and we could barely sleep due to the heat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Mr. Carmelo and his brother with the staff Christian were very helpful and nice. The location of B&B is more than perfect ( city centre) . With all my heart we recomend this accomodation.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Receptionists are the most friendly, positive, helpful and amazing people I have ever met. Thank you guys for everything! To Hostel I give 10 from 10 ;)
Cons: This question can not be asked for this Hostel. Everything was just Perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff that makes this place special and unique. Clean and cosy place, close to the city center and old town. Very comfortable bed for 2 - we slept really well. It was so good to be there so we even wanted to stay longer than one night.
Cons: There could be more space for the luggage in the room - maybe some more shelves/ cupboards? Especially for the guests who sleep on the upper bed so they can put their bags somewhere close to them. It was difficult to get down from the bed barefoot - the metal ladder is not so easy to climb.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The beds are really nice, they are not open bunk beds. There is a curtain and walls around the beds to make it feel like its your own private space, even though you are actually sharing the room with others. The breakfast was nice, I really enjoyed the cake they had. Everything was very clean and the showers were great with a lot of moving space. The location is about 6 min away from the center, yet it is outside of the tourist-y parts, so its really quiet.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Really liked the hostel! :) very nice and friendly vibe. Maybe would be cool if the breakfast was a bit more various but it was not an issue for me. Thank you guys and hope to see you next time.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great staff, big beds and a nice touch that is the sweet breakfast is what creates the Eco hostel experience.
Cons: Small and stuffy bathrooms.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice big common area. If arriving before checkin or leaving after, you can leave your bags and use the common areas. Gabriel is happy to help and talk anytime. Very close to Etnea where all the bars and restaurants. 2 mins walk to fish market ❤️ Next to bus station Borzalino, bus to beach, Aci Castelo and Siracusa stop there. Neighborhood might look bad at first, it’s just the appearance, not one problem.
Good 6.0
Pros: It’s very good located, bed is comfortable - some staff is really kind.
Cons: There is no safe for your personal belongings, just two wardrobe and no option to put a wet towel. The shower and toilet could get cleaned ( cleaned- not only put toiletpaper if guests asked for this). They could offer free towels as well for every guest
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Amazing staff, well to connect to the airport. I recommend.
Excellent 10.0
There’s a welcome drink of Sicilian wine on the house. I love that.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The ecohostel is a very nice clean friendly and young structure. It has been recovered recently in a modern industrial and eco way but the old structure is still visible and not so common to see. The room and bathroom were clean and I really appreciate the wood bed structure with curtains for privacy. The sicilian staff was very nice. I really suggest this place if you are a simply easy traveller...better for under 50 maybe or 'inside young' person :) enjoy!
Cons: The only thing is that my bad was without curtain I suppose because under the inclinated part of the roof. I only suggest to find a way to 'close' also the lasts two beds and also find a way to put black curtains on the two windows to prevent a compulsory wake up at 6 a.m due to the light...primary for those two sleeping just under those windows without curtains on their beds. Thanks!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Mr Luziano took care of everything, waited for us untill 23pm though check in is till 22pm. The room was spacious with air condition and balcony. Personally, I loved the coffee he made us every morning:)
Cons: Nothing, everything was just perfect.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our host was so kind help us in everything, thank you very much. Our room was clean, we have AC, private bathroom, fridge and a balcony too. Prices are good too. p.s. to our host: Have a great holiday in Hungary at 2022! ( :
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect stay! Really nice and friendly host. Definitely recommend it!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place is nice and Luciano provided us a delicious breakfast with typical Sicilian pastries.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect and a good price
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was spacious with extra high ceilings and Luciano was extremely nice. Parking in front of the house if you’re willing to take the risk, which we were. 10 min walk to old centre.
Good 6.0
Pros: Owner is good and soft spoken. Room big and good working ac TV fridge and safe.
Cons: I couldn't get warm water to take shower. Whenever u go there try check warm water. Toilet is not inside room but in front of room. I think it's the same for other people as well. Luckily I was alone in whole hotel due to covid so I used the toilet like a private. Owner did not visit once left. He even didn't ask me anything I needed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bath and everything great place big room
Cons: I loved this place x
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I really liked me stay there! The room was spacious, modern, very clean, well-lit and well-equipped (big bed, tables, fridge, tv, working wifi). The private bathroom was located next door to the room, a bit dated, but also very clean. Just as everyone else says - Luciano, the host, is very friendly, professional, helpful, and really cares that you have a great stay. The breakfast was served in the common area, and was Italian style - there was tea/coffee and a couple of delicious sweet pastries straight from the bakery.
Cons: Sometimes you would need to wait a bit for hot water in the shower.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We liked everything! The room was very clean, the hotel looks great, the breakfast was delicious, the receptions (Valentina) helped us a lot with information regarding the trip that we wanted to do to Taormina. The fact that is very close to the beach and the airport is a big advantage!
Cons: -
Good 6.0
Pros: Trustworthy, late check-in possible, close to airport, close to the beach, has a restaurant with friendly staff!
Cons: Hard beds, staff not very inviting, "private" beach is extra charge, area is not charming, hotel a bit worn, overall not worth the price
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was great, room was clean and tidy and the lido that hotel uses for the beach was cool. The staff was friendly. After checkout we were able to use the facilities or store our baggage locked. Overall ok, but for the price I would expect more.
Cons: The rest of the hotel could use some renovation, and the prices for any item in restaurant or mini-bar were ridiculous (3E for small water, 5E for small beer etc.). The hotel's restaurant was not great compared to what the city has to offer, but in the location there's no much better options. We've only had 1 glass in the room, and when we brought one more for the breakfast, it was cleaned right away.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The stuff was very polite and helpful, room was clean and private beach was nice.
Cons: Hotel is far from city center, buses in Catania are often late, so You need to take a taxi and this is about 20 euro each time.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was perfectly clean and the staff was very kind.
Cons: The food at the restaurant was not tasty
Good 7.0
Pros: Really nice pool area
Cons: There is no beach! It is a general beach facility ~10 minutes away.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location near the beach and the access to the private beach bring a unique perspective on the accommodation in Catania. Very nice staff, very fair price.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location: close to the beach and to the city
Cons: Service at the restaurant and bar. Hard to find somebody who I could ask for a drink.... Huge line for in the morning and comparing to the other Nh hotels very poor choice of breakfast buffet.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great breakfast and beach across the road.
Cons: Over a km out of town and thus limited options for meals. Private beach associated with hotel is not across the road but over 100m away.
Excellent 8.5
Hotel's proximity to the airport was why we chose this hotel despite reading all the negative reviews from other guests. We expected way less than average because of the things we read but we were actually satisfied by the service when we got there. The staff were all friendly, pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was well-equipped, and they provided the basic amenities. Only con I can say is that the restaurant's menu was limited and pricey. We had to stay in that night coz of bad weather so we had no other choice than dine here.
Excellent 8.5
I stayed at this hotel with my husband for 2 weeks a couple of months ago. The rooms are fine and well serviced but could do with a bit of a spruce up. Breakfast is very good with a good choice but they evidently don't understand what bacon and eggs should be like for my English husband. Just slimy and greasy pancetta instead of bacon. Otherwise it was a nice hotel and the little beach across the road was something of a boon. Alot of people have complained about the erratic bus service. This is correct. I made friends with the lovely local traffic wardens who explained that the local council has cut the services by 75 percent due to lack of central government funding. I would recommend this hotel for a business traveller and for older guests for a holiday if you are prepared for spending quite a lot on taxis. It is definitely going up Etna on an excursion from Catania.
Okay 4.5
Pros: Outstanding breakfast and food.
Cons: Unable to control the temperature of my room. What's the point of having A/C controls in the room if they do not work and are controlled by reception? Totally unacceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel. I must have called reception about 5-7 times because my room was too warm. I kept getting told that the temperature for my room specifically was lowered which is untrue. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, I was hoping for a good night's sleep and didn't get it. Extremely annoyed.

Excellent 10.0
Kind and helpful staff, close location to airport. Would not recommend the hotel restaurant.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Proximity to airport, free shuttle bus, cleanliness.
Cons: Breakfast starts at 7am. Not good for people who take planes earlier
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The stay was really nice. I enjoyed every little aspect of it, from the check-in to the airport transfer early in the morning. Beds are super comfy and rooms super clean and quiet Room facilities are of great quality and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. Highly suggested, should it be a one night stay or for a longer period of time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nico, at the front desk, really made us love our stay! He is so friendly and helpful!
Cons: Nothing.
Good 7.0
Pros: Excellent staff
Cons: Breakfast long lines and coffee not worthy of being called Italian
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect for us, near the airport. The van was really helpful. The gentleman at the front desk, Nico, was really what made the difference. He was welcoming and professional and went out of the way to make our stay great.
Cons: Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location is pretty near to a local airport.
Cons: A bathing cap into a swimming pool, c'mon!!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very efficient shuttle service from and to airport. Large and spacious rooms Clean Stuff very helpful
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very big room and the bathroom, comfortable beds and great pool.
Cons: we booked accomodation with airport transfer. And becouse our flight was delayed we could not get the transfer anymore. We had to take taxi and we payed 15eur for 1 kilometer.
Excellent 8.4
Good hotel closed to the airport, large rooms and good service. Complimentary shuttle to/from the airport
Good 6.0
Good location near the airport, reception staff very rude and non helpful.
Okay 5.6
How do I start 🤔🤣😭 Shower is falling apart, parking barriers doesn’t work, guy that come up to let me out doesn’t know how to do it , I think they only cleaning around the beds . If you look under the bed is like an inch thick of dust. Food isn't to good . I really think that place should not have more than 2 stars , 4 stars is way 2many . I really think it was my only stay there anyway.
Good 7.2
Hotel is 4 * with swimming pool. Food poor to mediocre. Which is surprise for Sicily. Breakfast poor and no food left at 9:30am when breakfast closes at 10am
Excellent 8.4
Clean facility, professional friendly staff
Excellent 10.0
I usually avoid airport hotels, but we had a very early morning flight, so it was the best alternative. This one is near the airport and rental return places, and has free parking and a shuttle, so it was very convenient. Our room was surprisingly large and comfortable, and the bathroom was large and had an expansive counter to put stuff on. We did not avail ourselves of the restaurant or bar. All staff we had contact with were charming and helpful. Would stay again and recommend. Only minus is the chaotic car parking.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice big room
Cons: I did not like the fact that all companies kayak booking hotel com amoma publish one price and when you agree the price changes and ther is all ways a folse information that at the end you pay more from the publish price or you have to pay extras which are supposed to be included so please stop bloofing the customers
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Room spacious and clean. Close to airport.
Cons: Shuttle pickup slow. Seem to run the shuttle hourly. So close to the airport it could be as needed or, at least, twice per hour.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Room was large and clean but next to some staff room at the very end of the hall downstairs so could hear loud talking. The location is good for travelers having to fly in and out of Catania airport. The hotel has a shuttle for 5 Euros.
Cons: At a minimum coffee or tea should be provided for guests no matter even if they paid less than another guest. The hotel is not near restaurants and cafes so you would have to leave the hotel to go to a cafe.
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: Room was a nice size and it was clean.
Cons: Steph was unfriendly and unhelpful. Also, shuttle bus was full when we needed it. We needed to get to the airport at 5 o'clock in the morning. That's why we stayed at the hotel! Had to take a taxi for $20 instead.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Good location. Generally pleasant and helpful staff. quick response from room service. Excellent potato and mushroom soup in the restaurant!!. Except for the bathroom safety issue, the room was good and when no opener was available for the minibar, one was quickly supplied along with the room service. We had a great view of Etna from our room that afternoon--an unexpected plus after spending ten days in other parts of Sicily.
Cons: Downgraded you on "facilities" primarily on the safety issue. Like all European hotels, no one seems to make it easy for older people to get in and out of the shower/tub safely. Besides the wall bar, there are hold bars that fasten to the edge of a tub which are helpful in getting out. I have seen some here in the US, don't think I saw any in European hotels. Also square toilet seat was a surprise--we even took a photo because we had never seen such before--but I don't find that it is very comfortable to sit on!

Good 7.0
Pros: Great location, fantastic staff, clean place and a nice pool.
Cons: Poor room service money and not so exciting breakfast or food menu.
Poor 1.0
Pros: Location across from beach
Cons: The Staff - especially the head receptionist , lady with long blond hair - was exceptionally unwelcoming and very rude on arrival . It made me feel like I was an annoyance not a guest. When I asked her simple things like where is the beach she raised her eyes to heaven and really I would not have stayed in this hotel only for I was too tired to move. How can hospitality staff be this arrogant ? Also I think the hotel is over priced , the location across from the beach and the gardens are nice. But the hotel is old and badly maintained and as I say the staff are very badly trained and not good humoured. This should have a 2-3 star rating maximum . Do not stay here
Okay 5.0
Pros: Breakfast was a total disappointment . Cold eggs bad selection I would have been embarrassed to serve this breakfast to strangers let alone paying guests
Cons: Heat and selection and maybe plates glasses and silverware when needed
Good 6.0
Pros: Very convenient for the airport. Very welcoming receptionist. Pool.
Cons: Rooms are a bit tired. Breakfast was poor - for example no bread. Doesn’t feel like a luxury palace!
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff were exceptional! Super super friendly and willing to help out with any needs! Room has a nice big balcony with great furniture. Grounds of the hotel were great, however the upkeep of pool furniture could be better.
Cons: Room was not up to standard for a 5 star hotel There were huge marks on the wall, bed was poorly dressed with only two thin pillows, light in the shower did not work, 1 light in the bathroom did not work and a second light also stopped working half way through the stay. Bathroom floor flooded heavily every time the shower was used Also found ants in the bathroom and the room
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Pool Free towels by the pool Spacious room and terrace Free and safe parking within hotel grounds Dinner (food, service, live music) Hotel staff were ALL so courteous, helpful and many English speaking. Cleanliness. Location was perfect for us because it's so close to airport.
Cons: Needs upgrading/refurbishing if advertised as luxurious. Beach is not for hotel guests only and sunbeds are on first come first served. Pillows were uncomfortable to our liking; hard, low and lumpy. No coffee/tea making facilities in room. Noisy guests by the pool. Staff should be more alert.
Okay 4.8
Very tired and run down. It may have been 5 star in the 50’s or 60’s but is now quite dingy and unwelcoming
Excellent 10.0
We stayed here and we were blown away by every part of the hotel! The grounds of the hotel are immaculate, only to be topped by the amazing staff! All the girls on reception were fantastic, super friendly and very helpful. Alfredo always had a smile on his face and could not do enough for us, even just checking if we were OK for towels! On arrival there was a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us which I just thought was such a nice touch! The room we had was fabulous, extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The food and drink was beautiful in the hotel but on a slightly higher price then local restaurants, but then again you are in a luxury hotel! There is a complementary shuttle bus that runs twice daily into town were you have all the restaurants you could need if you didn't want to dine in the hotel. I have read a few reviews on this hotel and I do not agree with most of them and until you stay here you will see that most of the negative comments are quite silly and in my opinion are 'nit picking' (looking for things to be wrong or imperfect). I highly recommend this hotel and everything it has to offer my only complaint is that i had to leave!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff at reception, room with balcony, beach facilities, breakfast,
Cons: Could really do with children's pool, lots of kids splashing and screaming in pool takes away fifth star

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Close to the airport, nice staff and clean rooms
Okay 4.0
Pros: Air condition was good
Cons: No good wifi, location is far, so hard to find transportation, buses always full
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Staff was generally nice and accomodating
Cons: A lot of noise in the room
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice bathroom.
Cons: Extremely poor Wi-Fi in the room.
Okay 5.0
Pros: we stayed in the room 16, and it was well done, very clean and comfortable (apart from the old mattress, which is ok for a few days. Staff was in general quite kind.
Cons: Staff was kind, apart from a elder gentleman working on some shifts by the reception, who wouldn't bother to be very cordial, like not saying good morning, thanks, sorry, and never smiling. It's a bit noisy outside because of the road, but nothing serious for me, and inside the room it was pretty quiet.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The location - close to the airport and to the centre.
Cons: The pool was dirty Utilities and furniture were very old and in bad conditions. The AC remote couldn’t get to work properly. The window blinds had a hole in them letting light in. Fruit provided ad breakfast was old and not clean.
Good 7.0
Pros: Close to the beach.
Cons: The sea is full of garbage in the afternoon. As wel as the area around

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our stay was quite short and I have not much to share, but all the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach pass was a surprise and the swimming on this hot day was amazing!
Cons: I think the transfer to the airport is worth to improve, it was seemingly too early for the taxi at 6 am… Travellers can't get the specific information too easily in Catania, Sicily
Poor 1.0
Pros: Rooms were clean
Cons: We spent one night in this hotel during a scorching heatwave and the whole hotel didn’t have air conditioning. It was like spending a night in hell. Breakfast the following morning was rather bland.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Very average hotel, we chose it cause it was supposed to be close to the airport, in reality you need to go very around, we had to walk 30 min during the night to get there cause there were no buses. This hotel definitely needs some renovation, everything was old and not very pleasant. Luckily, our bed was big and comfortable. Only sweet and average breakfast, which we didn’t like cause we don’t eat sweet stuff in the morning.
Cons: Old, smelly, outside the city area (which I partially knew) but there were no road lamps so we were walking in a complete darkness for a while, next to the busy road.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: close to airport breakfeast ok
Good 7.0
Pros: Great hotel to stay at if you get in to the airport late and don’t feel like driving far or if you have an early flight in the morning. Great staff and an awesome bar just outside of the hotel. It’s about a 8 minute ride to the airport and about a $25-$30 taxi ride

Pros: Nice beach, and close to airport
Cons: Old dated facility.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing. EVERY PERSON we encountered was always the best you could expect. From the moment we checked in the reception attendant took time to walk us to our room and show us the facilities. The location is great and the staff works very hard to keep things clean. They cleaned and changed the sheets daily and groomed the beach every evening. The morning breakfast was a terrific Sicilian Cornetto and caffè served at the central bar on the beachfront. The music was great and the Dj was on point, playing a great selection of stuff from classic to modern italian and even some 90s through current American stuff. The complex is huge and had plenty of walking area as well as ample parking. We brought our two small dogs and the staff was absolutely amazing with them. When we went to the bar they even brought them water. Speaking of the bar, the Spritz is amazing and they changed it up slightly every time to add a different garnish. AMAZING!!! The beach is great with clean sand and not a bunch of rocks like other parts of Sicily can be. The chairs and umbrellas were standard for Italian beaches, which is to say very comfortable and super easy from a user standpoint. The room itself had a large mini fridge which worked well as well as terrific air conditioning, a table, a couch, and an extra bed. The counter space and large sink in the kitchenette was very nice and there was even a table with chairs outside to sit on and watch the sunrise in the morning.
Cons: The other reviews about the airport being nearby are spot on. The planes are loud when they land and take off and did occasionally go after midnight. The bar on the property was loud but wasn't terrible because it closed at 11. After the covid restrictions lift and they are open lateri could see the noise being an issue with sleeping, especially in the ocean front bungalows. The hot water is a genuine danger and is set so hot you can hear it spurting in the pipes as it boils. Somehow it can go from uncomfortably cold to causing instant burns in less than a second. I know this sounds like exaggerating but it's not. Take great care with the hot water in the rooms!!! The huge glass window looking out on the ocean you see in the picture was covered almost completely by a giant printed sticker that seemed to be put up to keep the cracked glass from shattering. Instead of a huge picture window it was essentially two oversized portholes. There was a bulb missing from the bedside light and the light in the "kitchenette" area didn't work either. There is a small stove top that didn't work either. I know that sounds like a lot of negative but we still had a magical time.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Mr. Guna is a very nice person
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was directly on the beach. The staff was very friendly. There were enough outlets to charge things. Restaurant was good.
Cons: The bed was a bit old and having two frames pushed together isn't very comfortable sharing the bed. There seemed to be a water pump constantly running in my friends room. I didn't hear it in my room but could have been annoying for him.
Good 7.0
Pros: Perfect location for the airport and catania and right on a beautiful beach
Cons: The whole complex was very tired looking
Okay 5.0
Pros: it was cheap, beach was nice and quite,
Cons: needs make over... very dated, feel like it was built in the 80's
