Male receptionist azing
The woman receptionist was not so warm hearted but the male receptionist was amazing, he kept asking us if we were ok and he even gave us juice and water for our trip of return
Kind and helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy and had most of the necessities for a solo traveler such as myself. Central location, mere minutes of walk away from a lot of the facilities and sights the town has to offer.
The doors are true to the old style of the structure and are therefore wooden. They don't offer good sound isolation and the room can thus get a bit noisy. The view from the balcony was sub-par.
I liked the friendly and good stuff. The rooms were very well kept clean. Thank you for your effort in making our stay enjoyable!
An image is a presence. I believe that the artwork from the wall decorations from the breakfast room, corridors and private rooms could have more traditional and cultural meaning. Evoia and especially Chalkida are a stunning place worth being photographed and promoted to the tourists. Beautiful images of Greek places could replace the existing ones, which represent various European cities. We have chosen to come to Greece in order to learn and explore its beauty! Do not hesitate to reveal it to us!
Kentrikon is very central indeed, just a few yards from the lovely waterfront with its many tavernas and bars and handy fro the city centre too. The staff were great. The bus station is a couple of miles away but the taxi fair was only 4 Euro.
Location wise it was central with many restaurants nearby. We liked the free water bottles and the complementary slices of cake and 2 glasses of juice waiting in our room. Superior room was spacious enough.
Hotel was rather noisy indoors, many incoming guests during the night, more than once and even at early hours as well, footsteps and voices all the time making it impossible to sleep. Imagine we were given a rather isolated room, can't imagine if you get a more central one. Wifi was non existant in our room (240) unless you were close to the door, toilet was dripping and no warm water on arrival, we had to ask for the boiler to be turned on. Mini refrigerator was a bit noisy too. Room key was obligatory to be left at the reception every time we were leaving the hotel, that was frustrating as well.
