Pros: These apartments were perfect for our family of 5! Pool was amazing and kid friendly. Loved the option to order food and drinks while relaxing! Master bed was comfortable and we got extra pillows as requested. Also a good size room! Shower is hot and has the rain feature or handheld. The veranda was spacious and private! Also Zorbas beach is a short walk! Which again is awesome because it has a restaurant and even a pool! Best location, best apartment, highly reccomend !
Good 7.5
Pros: The location, the view, the room set up and the kitchen set up. The pool was amazing and had plenty of space around for everyone to enjoy. The lunch we had was well prepared and tasty. Loved this place would definitely recommend it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very calm, relaxing hotel with apartments fully furnished. Hotel provides towels for the beach as well as bath. Breakfast in the morning was perfect and served outdoors, poolside. The property is very well maintained and very calm. It's a little bit of a walk to get to the nearest beach, approx 12 minutes but with the August heat and sun, we chose to take the car since we had our 5 year old with us. Town of Chania is about a 25 minute drive but very easy to get to with a GPS. Definitely worth staying at this hotel, and would love to come back one day should our plans bring us back to Crete.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Wonderful room, nice and contemporary, modern and clean. Pool area and other facilities were great. The staff were very helpful and communicated well with us.
Cons: Nothing that I didn't like, we were only using the room as a base to relax before a late flight so it was perfect for the airport.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really friendly staff and owners, beautiful apartment with great views.
Cons: Bed could have been a little softer.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A great studio with everything needed and in very good condition. It is in a quiet and pleasant environment. The relatively large swimming pool was also nice. Too bad we didn't stay longer to enjoy it more.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Artemis Village must surely be your first choice for your stay in Chania (if you are lucky enough to find an apartment for your dates). Avant Garde interior and exterior design, fully equipped kitchen, amazing poolside with crystal clear water and a safe playground. Excellent staff service makes you feel like home.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with suggestions for excursions and eating out. The apartment was a good size, clean and well appointed with a private balcony. The showers were also very good. The pool area was great for the kids and with plenty of loungers.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Beautiful apartments, very nice interior & lightning, everything is very modern and up-to-date. Big rooms, nice showers, clean and well worth money. I experienced a little lack of privacy, due to how hotel was built, if you are sensitive to that maybe you should look for other option. Nice pool and snack-area.
Cons: You need a car to feel comfortable here. Hotel has bicycles to lend, but it was quite scary to ride the bikes due to the amount of barking dogs that people keep in their gardens in the houses that you pass.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything! Such a peaceful and beautiful place. Amazing pool, great staff. The kids loved the place and so did we. I would definitely come back.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is the last buildings - at end of road. So you have great view directly to the sea. We stayed in appartement no. 12 which is the very last and on top flor. Has two terrasses one to the sea - and one inland for enjoying breakfast and morning sun. Nice design so every room has good view Lots of space and everything quite new. Nice owners - waiting for our late arrival at 21:00. Nice parking space - pool etc. well kept - will return
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Katherina and Stelios, and their son, Yannis, and daughter Maria, are absolutely wonderful hosts; always available and made us feel like "home from home". We stayed a month here, and it is the perfect location to explore western Crete. Lots of interesting places close by too. The gardens are beautifully kept, the staff clean every day and are very friendly, and the pool looks out on a picturesque seascape. Can't say enough about the place. You'll love it here!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is very beautifull places!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: this place is like paradise. everything is very clean the staff is very friendly Mr and Mrs nanakis was very welcome, cleaners cleaned up the room daily with new towels everything that you need the pool is extremely nice, either you travel with your partner or family it suits all occasions. you have a beautiful view from your room and you are near too many facilities like zorpas peach marathi beach seitan beach, loutraki beach. it's much more better than living in the city as you will have to drive outside the city anyway to visit top 10 Crete beautiful beaches. The city is nice but I could never imagine living there as there is no view no nothing nanakis has a beautiful view and it makes you really feel like you are on holidays. we rented a car and we had an amazing stay and we couldn't wait to come home by night and see that beautiful view and sunset from our hotel room. it's something extraordinary, the money is worth it all. You have many supermarkets nearby just with 2 minutes drive there is many restaurants five minutes drive away you basically have everything you need around you. Will definitely visit the place again and again and again. Traveled many places in the world this is definitely a recommended place. we had a beautiful stay.
Cons: There is nothing I couldn't say I didn't like everything was just perfect
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful, very clean and quite place, close to the sea, the view from the apartments is beautiful. But the best of all it's the Nanakis family, they are very kind, helpful and attentive owners. We were a bit unprepared in the first days (with 2 kids) and they helped us in everything they could so we can have a great vacation. I can only recommend!
Cons: -
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfortable room. Very nice location.
Good 7.9
Pros: Cleanliness of apartments was to a high standard and amazing views from our ground floor sea view apartment. We managed to swim but you have to walk over the rocks as there is no beach .
Cons: We were in a family apartment and the main living area becomes a bedroom but this does not have air con so it was hot for our teenage boys at night .
Excellent 9.6
Pros: They really do go the extra mile offering lifts to the shops etc nice shower and double bed as well
Cons: Was just a bit out the way if you didnt drive this isn't the apartments fault.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Much better than its photos! Brilliant place to stay with a young family.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Its self catering! Fantastic location. Beautiful, relaxed, very friendly. On the coast, easy walk to restaurants and Zorba the Greek's beach is a 5 minute drive away in Stavros. Lots of good restaurant and handy supermarkets there. Lots of different half day or full day trips from there.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel owner and his family were very helpful and the swimming pool was beautifully clean as was the rest of the complex
Cons: I would have preferred shopping/eating facilities a little nearer, but this was not that important.
Good 7.0
Pros: Very nice place with beatiful seaview. Apartment was clean and good equiped , hotel area nice with many plants and flowers. There are 3 beaches in Stavros, and the distance to the nearest is about 200m. The distance to the sea is about 50m.
Good 7.0
Pros: easy, lovely and very quiet atmosphere, all rooms have sea view, well kept surroundings, clean rooms, friendly stuff, sea is just 20 m. from appartments, large pool open from 9:00 till 21:00
Cons: there is no sandy beach in hotel, but there is possible to get into the sea through the rocks if you have special shoes. nearest mini market is about 20 min walk away. there is no any problems if you have car.
Good 7.3
Pros: Excellent location with wonderful pool and fabulous sunset views over the sea. Excellent family run hotel.

Good 7.6
Pros: The location is beautiful and peaceful. The room is well equipped and clean. The owners are friendly and helpful. The pool is incredible, clean, big and deep with an amazing view of the sea.
Cons: The Greek sewage system is different from ours and collecting the toilet papers in the trash is little weird, but the cleaning lady changed it every day.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The attention of the staff is excellent the rooms cleans ans spacious. The view extraordinary.
Cons: We like everything.

Pros: We chose to spend the last night of our trip to Crete in this lovely place. Everything was just perfect, from the wonderful landscape around the property to the hospitality of the hosts. It's the perfect place to relax. Our apartment was big, clean and it had a small kitchen area with everything you could need. The view from the balcony worth all the money. The pool area is also very clean and it inspires to total relaxation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stunning property, great location, super clean with lovely hosts. The pool was amazing and the sea was 100 yards from our balcony. Great to sit out and watch the sun set over the ocean every night. The location is really convenient. Feels like the middle of nowhere but is just a short drive to great beaches, fab restaurants and tavernas and 2 supermarkets. I can’t rate it highly enough!

Pros: Beautiful place!!! It was super clean and cosy. With a super warm welcome by the owner he was so helpful and friendly. He explains all with charisma and patience my boyfriend and I liked him so much! Also he said goodbye to us with a nice tradicional sweet from the island. I highly recommend 100% this place. Dayana and Jho
Cons: No complaints at all
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We would highly recommend esplanade apartments located in a beautiful location in Crete. The hotel was near safe sandy beaches and local family run tavernas that served excellent high quality but good value meals. Yiannis was a brilliant host, he has a wealth of knowledge of places to visit in the area and his warm welcome made our holiday. There is something for everyone in this location - walks, swimming, relaxing on the beach or by the pool, historical sites and close to the city of Chania but with the peace and quiet of a beach location. A great holiday made even better by Yiannis who is such a considerate host. We have stayed in many places round the world but he goes above and beyond to make your holiday one to remember. Thank you.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Giannis, the owner and everything else!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had a great time at Esplanade apartments! The rooms were very clean and cosy, with beautiful sea view. The local beach is near. Yiannis is a great host, kind and very friendly! He made our holiday more interesting. We came late and snacks were waiting for us in the fridge. If we ever come back to Crete, we would stay there again!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Yiannis, the hotel owner, is extremely nice and does everything for you to enjoy your stay and it makes you smile talking to him. Very clean rooms with a pretty modern equipment and very comfortable new beds inside. Highly recommended!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host is extremely nice and I highly recommend! He helped us a ton! Stay here!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The apartments were very clean and newly refurbished. It is the perfect location if you want to spend your holiday in Chania and you have a rental car. The host, Yianis, is very friendly and he offers his advices when you need a good restaurant or a nice secret beach to discover.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed at Esplanade Apartments from the 28th of August to the 4th of September and really enjoyed our holiday! Even though we arrived later than planned at the hotel because our flight was delayed, we didn't have any problem at the check -in. The apartment was spacious, very clean and had all the kitchen utensils described on booking. We got new towels every two days and the linen were changed twice. The owner is really helpful and kind. He gave us some really good beach recommendations and gave us even a snack for the car ride at departure!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Yiannis was a prefect host. We were recieved with very warm welcome. Yiannis gave us also nice tips what to see etc. On our arrival, we also found a very nice details in the fridge for the first days - basic breakfast, cold beers, local wine and raki :-) We enjoyed a lot 1 week in the apartment. All clean, new and modern. Even bathroom was equiped with basic amenities (soap, shampoo,...). We traveled a lot. It was having great location to explore the north-west part on Crete. Easy parking and quick acess from/to Chania airport (10mins by car). Recommended!!
Cons: Nothing to say here.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: the acommodation was really cosy, spacious and beautiful, we really had everything we needed, plus the owner was really kind and amazing. I would recommend this place for sure.
Cons: the beach was a little far away, but we´ve already knew about it so it wasn´t an unpleasant surprise. I would recommend to rent a car to visit some more distant beaches.

Pros: The breakfast and beatiful scenery on the terrace was really lovely
Cons: The parking area gives some difficulties in fact that the hotel is located up on the hill.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal sun. Everything was fantastic, the staff was very friendly, from the front desk, the shuttle drivers and all the staff at the restaurant. The breakfast/buffet is great, with a lot of variety and they always have some local dishes which they change daily. The view from the hotel/restaurant and pool are is simply BEAUTIFUL! Please note this hotel is not in the city center however the shuttle service is excellent. They go to the city center every 30 minutes and the same on the way back. The last one of the night is at midnight which is perfect. They have free parking so the location, parking situation and shuttle service is excellent and extremely convenient if you want to go to the beaches during the day and then explore the city or have dinner in town. The location is very calm , beds are comfortable and the place was very clean.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect, you cannot get anything better for the price.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We had an amazing stay in this hotel, the breakfast was excellent, great choice of food, deserts, drinks and fresh fruit. The view from the restaurant where the breakfast is also served was stunning, over the town of Chania and the sea. The pool facilities are clean. An extra bonus was the shuttle to Chania and back every 30 minutes every day. It was super useful when we didnt want to drive to the city centre and also could enjoy some wine without the worry to drive back.
Cons: The only point taken for facilities is the very small bathroom and the shower cubicle. The last two days the aircon didnt work
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A return visit to this fab hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff, lovely views down to the Harbour. Food excellent, plenty to choose from, fresh and home cooked. Reasonably priced too. Free minibus transfer down /back from the town. A really enjoyable stay once again. Thank you x
Cons: There is nothing not to like here!!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Lovely views, so try and take a sea view and ask for rooms to the right (as you face the hotel), i.e. 301 - 310 as these have the views over the lovely pool area, across Chania and to the sea. Although away from the main town, they run a very frequent and well organised shuttle service all day and into the late evening that takes the hassle out of getting in and out of town. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, so something in there for all. Lots of parking. Staff very attentive and friendly. Rooms are a good size, beds are comfy, although the showers are cosy. Hotel is fairly small, so you don't feel like there's huge swathes of other tourists. International mix of clients, Brits, Nordics, French, German and Russian mainly - which reflects the profile of holiday makers across the island. Great pool, especially for those who like a proper swim.
Cons: For a 3 star hotel, and at the price they're getting pretty much everything right. If you need a non-dairy milk let them know in advance and they'll sort it out but they don't stock it as a norm
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing and helpfull staff. The view from the restaurant was amazing. Very reasonable prices for excellent food in the restaurant. Breakfast was good too, as well local as international food. Better than many 4-star hotels, highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing.
Good 7.0
Pros: Our 3 rd stay. Lovely location / pool. Great breakfast.
Cons: We paid for a sea view with balcony on this out 3rd stay. We got one, but the size of the bathroom was very tight, though well equipped. We were on the end of the corridor. Our room had the loudest of buzzing going on most of the time as the extractors for the bathrooms down the corridor were scrubbing on our external wall ( next to our headboards ) and in a hatch right outside our door. It was not apparent properly till we tried to get to sleep. Management could not / would not give us a quiet room saying they were full. We explained that this could not be allowed - a 2 day stay! Grudgingly they advised that they would turn off the fans/ equipment ( this was around midnight both days) but it would be a problem now because everyone’s bathroom would not refresh because of what we asked. Previously we had taken Executive rooms with sea view whilst this was a lesser room( with sea view.) To be honest it has made us think with care about going back, to this hotel which we honestly love from past trips. We have told many friends how good it is etc.... Another annoyance was that when we arranged for the courtesy mini bus to collect us in Chania at 10.45 pm and were at the pick up spot with at least 10 mins to spare, we were left standing . When we phoned at 11.00pm to ask if there was a problem , we were basically questioned as to were we sure we were there on time. No apology - we could just wait for the next one. Mix ups happen, though it was only at 10.15 we made the arrangement . Just saying sorry can be a way to sort a matter out, not trying to shift blame!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved everything; the room, the view, the pool, the staff, the facilities and the lovely breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Royal Sun exceeded my expectations. The pool area was lovely, the rooms were spacious and clean and the balcony was wonderful. The balcony was one of the biggest I've seen for a hotel with a wonderful view overlooking the pool, town and Sea. Would could be better? A huge bonus was the free shuttle to and from the old town of Chania every half hour. The shuttle was always on time and was so convenient, and was only about a 10 minute drive. The breakfast was more than enough with a beautiful outside eating area. We had exceptional service from Antonis at the front desk. He was so pleasant, kind, patient and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and beaches, etc,, based on our preferences. Antonis made our stay here exceptional and he should be commended! If I ever visit Chania again, I would not look anywhere else, I would stay here again without hesitation.
Cons: the lighting in our bathroom was a little dark.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Everything at the Royal Sun Hotel was fabulous from the breakfast to the facilities , meals and a view to die for .
Cons: While it is 15 minutes out of town the hotel shuttle is runs every half hour on time and on time

Pros: Sophia and all the staff are super helpful and happy to help with advice for the area. Sophia gave us arrival advice, bike hire and sight seeing advice. Amazing sunsets with clean and comfortable room. Would highly recommend!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff were wonderful. The apartments were compact but perfectly formed and my husband and I had a wonderful stay (as a same sex couple it is great to find a place that is welcoming). The secluded cove is stunning and swimming there was one of the highlights of the trip. The pool is immaculate with plenty of seating and the bar is well equipped and perfect for an evening drink after sunset. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of selection to suit every one.
Cons: The setting of the apartments is beautiful, but it is a little out of town but still not too far from the nearest mini market and a 20min drive into Chania.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Giorgi’s Blue Apartments is a fabulous property situated on a quiet street and it looks out to the Aegean Sea! The private cove is fabulous. Sophia, who runs the place, is so nice and takes care of your every need.
Cons: Try to keep in mind it’s an apartment, so you may need items from a grocery store like paper towels, your own shampoo, etc.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location and views were stunning Staff lovely
Cons: Loved everything
Excellent 8.3
Pros: I loved my stay at Giorgi's. The room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. I really like the private cove at the rear, leading down to the sea.
Cons: The location is a little remote, which was no problem to me. The proximity to the military airfield means that there are a few VERY loud jets passing over (though not early or late) and this might bother some people, though it was not an issue for me.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: - big apartments - nice beach zone - beautiful building - beautiful sea view
Cons: - difficult to travel without car, because of the seldom bus.
Good 7.1
Pros: The view from the Pool area and ocean access was incredible. The. Breakfast was basic but the fresh oj was a plus. The lady working breakfast with long dark hair was always in a good mood and greeted us with a smile and good morning every day
Cons: There was an issue with the original unit we were supposed to be in and the management didn’t handle the situation in the best way and they did try to make up for the problem but it could have been handled much more appropriately. The bathrooms are small and showers are not the best but it’s doable for a few days stay.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Fantastic staff. Immaculately clean. Gorgeous views. Serene location. Great restaurants and beaches nearby. Best yogurt of my trip! Don’t miss the fun waves at nearby Kalathas Beach and the stunning views from the calm waters at Stavros Beach, just a bit further up the road.
Cons: I was hoping to swim in the ocean cove but I didn’t feel it would be safe, as the water is deep and not especially calm along the rocky coast. Fine for a dip or for more adventurous types, though. Breakfast options were limited. Eggs, meat, basic bread, dry cereal, olives, cheese. Great freshly squeezed oj and yogurt. I don’t eat meat or eggs so would have preferred varied types of hearty bread, a fresh fruit or two, and perhaps some fresh pastry. Restaurants and beaches are not really walking distance. But five minutes in the car will get you there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great pool, we had it to ourselves for most of the time and there were communal lilos etc which were fun. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and it was a great place to relax. Sophia or George are always happy to suggest outings, book restaurants etc. The pool bar was nice and Nelly made the best mojitos! Staff can help to arrange food deliveries if you don’t wish to self cater or eat out. The fresh orange juice machine was great at breakfast time.
Cons: We didn’t hire a car but probably best to do so to see more of the island and have more options for dining out but there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance or a short bus or cab ride away.

Pros: Spacious apartment, we were welcomed with wine and fruit glass in the room, excellent view from balcony, very friendly host, Lena gave us valuable information, breakfast was good also.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Extremely clean, excellent staff and very nice sea view
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful views from the room and tarrace, good breakfast, amazing host, comfortable beds (they are usually much harder in other places we stayed), the little things such as complimentary bottle of wine and water, even bathrobe and slippers! Bit out of town but there is a bus stop right at the doorstep with a frequent service
Cons: If I had to be picky, there was quite annoying noise at night, whenever it was even bit windy like high pitched squeak which my bf discovered to be a flag! But we had some wine (complimentary in the room) and raki and we slept like babies :)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing staff, very helpful and friendly. Some of the best I've ever seen anywhere in the world. Great room, very comfortable with a lovely view. Bus stop just outside the hotel to travel to town. Would definitely stay here again if in Chania.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful owner, great room and breakfast. Highly recommended.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was my second stay at this location and I liked it even more than the first time! Lena is a gracious host and pulls out all the stops. Definitely try to get a second floor room as the views are impeccable. You should have a car if you stay here.

Pros: It was an awesome place! We wished to stay there longer! Highly recommended!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: One of the best sunset views ever. Very nice host. Only 10 min drive to airport, and another 10 min to the old city by car.
Cons: There is an awful Lidl on the same street, but otherwise it is a nice area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner was exceptionally nice, and seemed to be always available. The view over Chania was worth putting up with some traffic noise along the road in front. Of course you can close the balcony door and turn on the air. Or perhaps ask for a room looking out the back side facing the rock cliff. The breakfast had lots of choices.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners and staff were super friendly; the room was cleaned every day; towels were also changed daily; and the view from the terrace is just amazing! Highly recommended!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, location, setting. Very thoughtfully laid out
Good 6.7
Pros: Fantastic view and location ( if you have a car ) Staff extremely friendly
Cons: In need of modernisation as accommodation tired in appearance . Pool area a little small for the size of the property .
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We loved the beach out front.
Cons: Teeny ants in the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Good 7.1
Pros: The staff was really nice. The room was little but nice and the bed comfortable. The swimming pool and the proximity to the sea are great.
Cons: There were some ants near the kitchen and too much humidity in the room. The floor of the bathroom was sometimes wet. Would be appreciate to have more towels for the kitchen and the bathroom
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location-Service
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great apartments, great location and helpful friendly staff. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday
Cons: A little expensive for Crete.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful view, natural pool by the sea, peaceful place, well mannered people. I will come back for sure!
Cons: Nothing to complain about :)
Good 6.3
Pros: This place is in a great setting with fabulous views.
Cons: Great setting but too many bothering issues. The water main sewer runs inside the walls, so just imagine the fun. Front door knob missing, ants every where in the kitchen, hot water just luck warm.....
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place was so lovely and easy. We wanted to see and hear the water and the beach and that’s what we got. This place has the most gorgeous views. Close enough to hear the waves crashing. Three different beach options, the rocky one the hotel is connected to, a tiny little sandy cove on the other side of the restaurant on the beach next door or you can walk across the gorgeous beach vegetation and hit the big sandy beach. We did all three and we drove to a few other beaches as well. The apartment was clean and tidy, had all the necessities including a little kitchen. A/c worked well, comfortable beds, large rooms, a patio table and line to hang towels and wet swim suits. View from the little porch was absolutely spectacular! The friendliest staff I have ever encountered, so kind. The pool was fun and it was so nice to see the sea from the pool and be able to hear it. Two good outdoor showers for when you come in sandy. Plenty of outdoor space to walk, gorgeous plants and landscaping. It was beachy, friendly, easygoing, not pretentious and totally relaxing. The restaurant was very inexpensive and good, not amazing but good.
Cons: The bathroom we had did not have a shower curtain and we ended up with water just all over the place after anyone showered. We used our towels daily to mop up the water but they gave us fresh ones daily so it was the end of the world. I don’t think all of the bathroom have this same problem.
Okay 5.7
Pros: I liked all the eagerness of the female staff to please every day I stayed there. They went out of their way to provide every request no mattter how busy they were with other matters.
Cons: I did not like the distance from Hania and the availability of the limited bus service. I did not experience any live music or dancing which I would have enjoyed at least once a week to experience cretean LIFE.The food offer at all times of the day needs a thorough overhall and description of what is on offer and how it is cooked. a notice board at the front of reception informing guests of special menus and available services such has large screen tv for the World Cup is an necessity. Thank you
Excellent 8.0
Pros: This place offers fantastic value for money, beautiful location, tasty enjoyable food and a nice chilled out atmosphere - if you want to relax and get away from it all we would hightly recommend it. The staff were very helpful, friendly and hospitable (always smiling) and they made us welcome and offered lots of advice (which we wish we had listed to more as they could have saved us lots of money). Manolis & Yannis were really helpful when we got a parking fine in Chania, if we took their advice before going out we could have avoided that. Also Yannis recommend some lovely dishes from the menu which were all superb. We would definately return if we decided to go back to this region of Crete.Compliments to all the staff we had fab holiday.
Cons: There's nothing we can think of, everything was perfect.
Good 7.3
Pros: We liked the fact it was out of the way and there-fore quiet. The off season helped in that regard too. Close to ocean swimming. Good for beach walking. Very pleasent and helpful staff who, obviously , enjoy their work.
Good 6.4
Pros: The appartments were very well proportioned, the bedrooms and livingrooms roomy. The bathroom was adequate and the shower was very good: abundant water and the temperature that you wanted. They also had a good breakfast/restaurant and a good swimming pool. The best was the beach, a sheltered private cove with calm aquamarine water, beautifull and very safe for children.
Cons: The mattresses were unbelievably hard, so we did not sleep very well for the first couple of days though you eventually got used to them. The other thing is its location. It was very inconvenient for exploring Crete. It is 17 kms out of Chania, so you can go there in the evenings and enjoy the city (though it is half an hour by car, because of the winding road and horrific Chania traffic), but for longer trips it was too far out. So, if you want to relax and not move far it is a perfect location (Stavros has a lot of nice beaches), but for exploring farther away it is very inconvenient.
Good 7.2
Pros: Excellent snorkling beach, pool, nearby taverna, clean, family oriented and friendly.
Cons: Better food and quicker servive
Okay 5.6
Pros: well-organized, nice pool, friendliness of the staff, location, decent taverna, internet availability
Cons: air condition not included in price, internet not included in price, our bedroom window next to the other apartment's table
Okay 5.2
Pros: The nice view from our room
Cons: We needed more shade at the windows.
Good 7.2
Pros: We found Blue Beach to be a beautiful and friendly environment. Both the staff and the neighbors quickly felt like a part of the extended family. The hotel had a nice little playground for children, and the private beach was a wonderful place to relax.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The resort has a lot of activities for young children, from the pool to the football pitch as well as children clubs. Our children were able to meet a lot of new friends in a safe and fun environment. The beach and resort are beautiful
Cons: There could be more variety of food, which was very good but a bit repetitive after a few days.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: highly recommended!! at sea beach; very nice design and amazing entertainment for kids; did not feel overcrowded in August; great food; perfect pools and nice rooms
Cons: a bit better to clean the rooms, but for the rest all was super great!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The resort has everything you would expect. The rooms were good, the beach was excellent, the food was delicious and had a lot of variety. By far the best thing about our stay was the dedicated and always helpful staff, especially the animators at the kids club.
Cons: Some facilities could do with a bit of maintenance. There was a games room which could have been a lot of fun, but was always empty. The games inside didn't look appealing to anyone. There's a boat themed playground for kids which, it seemed to me, needed a lot of repairs (the children didn't seem to care).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing staff! It is a lovely place to have your holidays especially if you have a young family! The hotel has a few play areas outdoor and indoor, children’s swimming pools. It also has great animation team! John and Kelly are absolutely amazing with the children and have great activities organised through out the day. The hotel is right on a lovely beach which was one of our main criteria. It is sandy with a few pebble but my 2 year old toddler and a 5 year old loved it! The food was lovely two. Freshly cooked food, always some traditional Greek dishes, fruits and salads. You can also have snacks and pancakes in between meals. And I am coming back to my first point - staff! Absolutely amazing. Kristi and Anastasia at the reception made us feel so welcome, they resolved all our requests promptly and they remained professional all time! I will highly recommend this hotel if you have young children
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The food was fantastic, loads of choice and we really enjoyed the Greek dishes that were offered on a daily basis. The hotel was perfectly positioned next to the beach and we had a choice of three pools. We would definitely go back.
Cons: There weren't many problems with our stay but to improve it, the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and the water never got very hot.
Okay 4.2
Cons: Paid extra for double bed room and was given 2 single beds stuck together. TERRIBLE SERVICE Horrible repetitive buffet food.
Good 7.5
Pros: The location is great, the beach is just next to the swimming pool. The service, the room, the food, everything is great... is ideal for families with children
Good 7.9
Pros: Breakfast was great! Both English and continental with orange juice squeezed at the moment and pan cake just Made. Also Lunch and dinner were very good with a variety of food always well cooked.
Cons: Public facilities such as stairs, hallways to the rooms should be more cleaned. Also public toilette should be cleaned more often. A bit far fronte town with few bus ride.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The new part of the hotel is very nice, clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The freshly squeezed orange juice is so good in morning!
Cons: The food is so repetitive we got bored with it in a week. The Kids Clubs have almost no toys in them... The pools in the old part are a bit dirty. The Pool and Beach Bars run out of food quite quickly during the day and after 4-5 o’clock nobody fills them again. Basically you can eat only pancakes until 7pm.
Good 7.5
Pros: Pools clean and most staff very friendly
Cons: Cleaning of the room need more attention. Food often run out from the tray. Some staff shouted at children which I found extremely disturbing. Sea almost impossible to use due to huge sharp stone on it.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: The hotel is in a quiet location with very beautiful sea views. The room is very spacious with a large terrace, it has everything you need - air conditioning, a kitchenette with a fridge, stove and electric kettle. The shop and the beach are 5-10 minutes away by car. The hosts Yannis and Ruby are wonderful! When we got a little lost on arrival in Stavros, Ruby personally picked us up by car and brought us to the hotel, where she treated us with cold lemonade and cookies, and in the room on the table was a drink personally prepared by Yannis from wine and local aromatic herbs .. It’s a pity that we stayed here just a couple of days!
Cons: Poor wifi connection in the apartment.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Apartments are spacious and comfortable. Lovely pool, never crowded. Amazing sea views. Good local restaurants and beaches within a short drive. Ruby and Yanni are friendly and helpful. Our fourth family holiday there.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Yiannis and Ruby were so nice and helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel was in a very quiete and calm neighbor hood. The pool was big enough for a swim. The room was spacious with a nice terasse and even had a coffe maker!
Cons: Everything was perfect. But you need a car to go to the nearest shop or restaurant.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: This hotel is for those who wish to be away from all the hussle of the city of Hania. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Spacious, good views, very friendly and helpful staff and a fab pool.
Cons: The beds and pillows were very hard but other than that it was great.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Lovely place to rest, very quiet. Nice swimming pool. Staff and host very friendly, brought me to the airport withought charging. Close to the sea and beach.
Cons: Poor wifi connexion.
Good 7.9
Pros: The friendly welcome by the owner. The fact that we could stay over the check-out time limit.
Cons: Old fashion furniture. The place looks like needing a renovation. May be is also the impact of the end of the season. Freshening it up for the next season would be a bright idea!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The room is huge with a small balcony. They also have a great pool.
Cons: The only problem is that we couldn’t have a couple need (queen). We had to sleep in 2 single beds.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Nice, very clean and quiet room. The swimming pool was very clean. The hosts were very polite. Professionals.
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 9.0
Pros: left early before breakfast.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great breakfast. We only stayed overnight after landing late in chania. Close to airport and able to park securely
Excellent 8.8
Pros: It was a comfortable room. Very good bed. The staff was friendly and very helpful
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location to airport
Cons: A bit dated but ok all the same
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The gardens are stunning. The hosts treat you like family. Everything is spotless! We arrived late at night and were asked if we had eaten. We hadn't and so the manager arranged to have us driven to and from a local taverna. They also arranged our airport taxi......oh and gave us cake and Tsipouro (an unaged Cretan brandy). The pool and view are beautiful. I very highly recommend this place.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: the staff are really really kind and friendly! Always helping for us and always keep smiling :) Lovely place to staying. Its close to Chania. The garden of the hotel is amazing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great host, gorgeous setting.
Cons: No tea or coffee sugar and milk in the room. However the host made us a lovely coffee and cake in the morning on the terrace.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hosts were very kind and nice, they ensured they gave us the best apartment they had available considering it was our honeymoon.
Cons: Some details in the rooms would need improvement/renovation for the future. Breakfast could be more diverse.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Smooth and quick check-in … even before the actual check-in time Clean and tidy room with all necessary facilities Excellent breakfast Good value for the money Close to the airport (and consequently the airplane noise could disturb if the balcony door is open)
Cons: Be careful about the room you choose – we had a room that was described “Twin Room with Garden View” but in reality the view was a only a few meters of the garden and beyond that a quite noisy road. Select a room with ocean view and hopefully the road is a bit far away.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff is very friendly and accommodating they make sure you have a comfortable stay, they arrange a car hire for us . - we had a very nice view in our room, and the room is clean . - location is great it is not far from beach, bus stop ,small market and airport. Location is great if you are not planning to stay longer than 3 days , but if your planning to stay longer i advice to rent a car so you could see the beauty of crete.
Cons: -you could hear noises of the room besides you and in the hall.

Pros: Very friendly staff very welcoming beautiful location very clean
Good 7.1
Pros: The owners were really nice
Cons: The price was high compared to other places we stayed.
Okay 5.8
Cons: Cleaning could be better
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Due to a 5 hour flight delay we landed in Chania at 1.30 am so this was a last minute booking to save us driving through the night. The charming couple who run this hotel waited up to let us in around 2.30 am. for which we were extremely grateful after a nightmare day.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating and our room was much larger than we anticipated.
Cons: The kitchen had very basic utensils, plates etc
Good 7.9
Pros: Very good location for the Polytechnic University of Crete (walking distance) and lots of good shops and tavernas. Fantastic views to the sea and mountain, all the way to the NW mountains. There were no breakfast facilities at this time (November) but the proprietor kindly offered a cup of coffee and cake.
Cons: The air conditioning unit is too old and couldn't warm up the room properly (top floor, facing north, beginning November) Kitchenete facilities were too rudimetary and inadequate - too few cutlery pieces. Shower was too small and there was no proper ventilation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quite, clean, friendly, good prices
Okay 5.0
Pros: A place extremely noisy, not as quite as you mighy nead.

Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Nothing
Cons: the location is bad like if you are in an abandoned place and you need a car. The images posted in booking it’s far away from reality (photoshopped), no ironing board , not hygienic bad amenities. Food is another story with the smelly rooms and bathrooms which can’t be shared unfortunately.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Good Location, decor is beautiful. The Hotel would have potential. Food is delicious in the À La Carte Restaurant.
Cons: Staff was very undertrained, unwilling to work, not friendly, very slow in general whole service very bad. Palmas and other plants look like they haven't seen water since months, gazebos and areas in the hotel very dirty. We are not happy with the stay. In the À La Carte Restaurant we got the wrong drinks and wrong food, waiter didn't understand nothing and also didn't knew the menu.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: The view is amazing
Cons: The hotel is dirty and outdated The hotel is run down The service is non-existent Horribly understaffed 4 nights without new sheets, we have to ask for towels and toilet paper that never came we had to get toilet paper from the people next door as our phone was broken and didn’t want to hike to the front reception.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Facilities Plenty of sunbeds and thankfully nobody trying to reserve them with their towels as the hotel has a strict policy on that. Food Lots of choice and the salad bar was good. Entertainment The chap behind the bar was brilliant and the animation team were great. They have a hard job trying to encourage people to take part in the different activities but they are still energetic and enthusiastic. The water aerobics was fun, if not a little awkward having to pair up with other guests and lift them out of the water for different exercises. The quiz was also good.
Cons: If you think you’re getting a 5 star hotel on the cheap, you would be wrong! Mr & Mrs White is a bit like a fake Mulberry handbag. It looks the part when you see it advertised online, but when you get up close you realise it isn’t genuine. The perception is that it’s 5 star because that’s what Greek law says. However, the reality is that it would unlikely be classified as a 5 star hotel if it was in the UK. I’d already been disappointed by the lack of response to my emails prior to arriving at the hotel. It took 3 attempts before someone acknowledged and answered my questions. On arrival, you’re met with a gleaming, gloss white reception - and then you see the cracks in the marble in the grand centrepiece on the floor. This was a sign of things to come! You go outside to the pool and realise that they’ve saved money on the decking by laying cheap composite stuff that’s now warping and creating holes that I tripped in and fell during my stay - so tread carefully! The room The ‘garden view’ room we chose turned out to be a ‘car park view’ room; the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor; the paint job was shoddy and there were holes in the walls that the plug sockets were literally hanging out of...and trying to get an iron and ironing board was like trying to get blood out of a stone. The bed was uncomfortable - the mattress felt cheap and we had one pillow that we had to swap with cushions because they were so hard. There was a kettle but no coffee or tea. The food When you’re faced with, for example, cold congealed eggs for breakfast, curry for dinner with chicken that’s overcooked in a bland ‘supreme-style’ sauce that tastes like it’s out of a tin and the same little sponge puddings with different coloured artificial sweet cream stuff plonked on top, you think “5 star? Really?” Customer service The customer service is definitely not 5 star - in fact, it was practically non-existent.
Mediocre 3.3
Cons: i have no words dirty !!!!!!dirty !!!!!dirty !!!!!! we find everything on our plates like hairs and many amazing things beds no comment just drama!!! im really sorry about this hotel and my money!!!!
Okay 5.4
Pros: Good breakfast, views and swimming pool. The bed is also very comfortable and big.
Cons: It has not the details of a 5 star hotel, neither in architecture, nor in staff, politeness or facilities. The relationship price-quality is quite bad. The exterior swimming pool closes too soon (7 pm in Greece at summer when you want to enjoy the sunset). As far as i am concerned it is not a clean hotel and there is lack of communication between the staff so everything can work alltogether. One of the nights i didn’t have my room cleaned or towels changed because apparently someone lost one of the 2 keys of the room and i supposedly had to give my keys all mornings in reception so that they can clean. While this all happened, i didn’t get the information about that by the staff. I found my room all dirty and i went to the reception by my own (no note or apologize was given to me) and the staff was very reckless ans dismissive about all that. The big flaws in architecture, furniture and garden finishing are compatible with this lack of concern in staff and alltogether make this hotel NOT A 5 STAR AT ALL!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: I loved my stay at Creatan Pearl, staff was really nice, resort seemed like brand new, modern design, food was great and views are amazing! Sunsets are majestic!
Cons: Way too far from Stavros beach, hotel should offer a free shuttle to the beach more often during the day, since it's a 5-star hotel, guest bathrooms definitely need renovation, they don't match guest rooms and style of the hotel, also I'd like to see more guest entertainment when I come back
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The team was very good
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Food is excellent. Animatio staff wonderful
Good 6.3
Pros: The pool was fine. The view was nice. The reception was kind and helpful.
Cons: The rooms were on the ground floor, too much noisy. No sockets at the bathroom. No available parking, we had to walk far to park. The breakfast had limited choices and it was not tasty. The waiters were rude. Too much humidity at the rooms, and cracks on the walls. Trying to hard to be a 5 star hotel but it is not. Maybe with a few adjustments.
