Pros: This hotel is beautiful with a old world charm. Everything was clean everyone was Beyond helpful. The owner even took the time to introduce herself to guest at breakfast and even offered tips and suggestions to enjoy the island. The breakfast is organic and made fresh everyday full of varieties for all. The bed slept great and the shower pressure was awesome. Don't forget to visit the gift store, I forgot the guy's name that worked there but he was a joy. Lastly my husband and I took advantage of the spa thanks to the owner and it was Amazing! Book a room here you won't regret it!

Pros: The hotel is centrally located in the heart of old town, right next to the harbor. What makes it stand out is the kindness of the staff. I arrived with a severe sprain in my ankle (turns out it was a fracture) and they went above and beyond to make our experience pleasant in anyway they could! They even upgraded us to the honeymoon suite!!! The breakfast is all organic and delicious. We loved our stay and hope to come back one day!

Pros: Wonderful breakfast. Could not be beaten. Outstanding. The service was excellent. The staff were always very helpful.

Cons: There was damp on our bedroom wall, which was disappointing. The room smelled of damp. Water dripping out of air-conditioning unit onto the chairs.

Pros: Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Hotel situated very close to the harbour and restaurants, would certainly recommend. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly and could not do enough for you. Would certainly return to this charming hotel.

Cons: Price seemed very high. Having now been to Chania, I’ve checked out some smaller boutique hotels that are more reasonable for similar amenities.

Pros: The hotel was very modern, comfortable, thoughtfully designed and well located to drive into the old quarter of Chania. The Owners and the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we got the most out of our time in the area.

Pros: The staff members are really friendly and helpful! They granted our special request as it was a special time for my partner and myself. The property was very close to the city centre - just 1 bus ride away. Really comfy beds and a fridge in the room!

Cons: Nothing really! The only thing that was unexpected was the restaurant on-site being closed when we were there as it was not peak season. Also, no free coffee and milk in the room, just a kettle and some cups.

Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean room.

Cons: The hotel was located in a semi-industrial area with no shops or restaurants nearby. Fortunately we had a car but I wouldn’t recommend staying long without one. Supermarket was close. The room was very small too. The rooms across the corridor looked double the size. Bedding was weird - one top sheet for each person.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helped is with everything we needed. They even let us stay in one of the common rooms after checkout so our son could take his nap in their travel cot!

Pros: Very comfortable accommodation with friendly staff. The apartment was cleaned every day as was the surrounding area and pool. An excellent supermarket next door. A quiet area with about a 15 minute walk to Chania harbour, restaurants etc. Parking in the street was not a problem, we always found a spot close to the hotel.

Pros: Spotless hotel. Good location, good breakfast. Nice and quiet and relaxing. 15 min walk to harbour area (5 euro in taxi). Greek salads at lunchtime, fabulous. Friendly helpful staff.

Cons: There was an issue of barking dogs, most mornings, but probably not a lot the staff can do about that. We would still go back and maybe stay near the pool next time.

Pros: Great room with living room/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Nice outdoor terrace and communal pool. Easy to park for free on the street right outside the hotel. About 15mins walk into the old town. Friendly staff.

Pros: I stayed in the suite with the outdoor terrace and jacuzzi. Heaven! The view...Extremely nice accommodations. Very nice staff.

Cons: For breakfast you have to go to a nearby restaurant. And: in the suite there are lots of steps, just next to the bed. Careful!

Pros: The location is perfect, very close to the harbour, very convenient if you enjoy the nightlife. Breakfast is located at a restaurant outside of the hotel, it is a small walk but the food is amazing.

Cons: There are a number of things that I found quite disappointing. At first I understand this is a boutique hotel and each room has its uniqueness, I purposely picked the one I like, considering the room layout and the view, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that the room I’ve booked has been occupied and I was being put to a different room. I was told that it was an upgrade but I didn’t have any choice to stick with the room I liked. I ended up staying on the first level in the room with balcony and harbour view. All was good until I found out the sound proof system for the room is very poor, there was a band playing in a restaurant right under the hotel and we can hear very loud music all night long until around 12:30 am, if you prefer a bit of quite time at night or would like to enjoy the view more peacefully, this hotel is definitely not recommended. This factor affected our ability to rest well at night, the sound system is definitely not meeting my expectation of a five star hotel. I also have high standards regarding housekeeping services and cleanliness, I found that the floor is poorly done as I like to go barefoot in my room, and the washroom supplies such as shower gel, shampoo etc are not filled when empty, you would have to request them first.

Pros: For us the breakfast arrangements were perhaps the best aspect of our stay. The 1 minute walk to the restaurant wasn't an inconvenience and the setting and service at the restaurant were really excellent.

Cons: Our room (Vitreaux) was, in of itself, very good. Bed was very comfy. But we had no outlook whatsoever - had to keep curtains close at all times because of proximity to the street which in effect is really a service access street at the rear.

Pros: This hotel was incredible! Right in the heart of the Old Venetian Harbor, you have beautiful views of the water and the lighthouse, or can choose a city view, which we did. We were happy we chose city views because we weren't right above the restaurant below us, which had live music every night, but either way you honestly cannot go wrong. The staff was extremely friendly, and there is always someone at the front desk, which I appreciated late at night. The room was very clean and well kept and the decor was very unique, but charming. Breakfast was great because they work with one of the restaurants right on the water. Once you sit, they send out their version of their 'continental breakfast', which puts the American's version to shame. You are given a ton of options and everything is delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Chania!

Pros: The staff are very helpful. We are even upgraded with a Master suite with rooftop spa. The breakfast is excellent

Cons: We were not given the room we had booked. Although we were told that the allocated room was also a superior room, it did not feel so. If you really want a Superior room you have to tell them which one you want, apparently, but how would you know if it is your first time in the hotel? Should you wish to book Pandora's only (in our view) Superior room, ask for Afroditi. Or better still ask for a room on the first floor overlooking the harbour, and save yourself some money.

Pros: The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of fresh food. The dining area is beautifully located on the rooftop overlooking the Venetian Harbour. Our room was clean and spacious with a good size bathroom and very good aircon. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals and a large fridge. The hotel is vey well located with a 5 minute walk to the Venetian Harbour. The hotel manager was very helpful and hospitable.

Pros: Exceptional view over the old town. Beautiful view to wake up to and gorgeous view at night to watch the activity around the restaurant hub in the old city's harbour

Cons: There is no parking available with the accomodation. Parking and driving in the narrow cobblestone streets was really tricky and I was lucky I wasn't trying to do it alone because I had people with me that could jump out of the car and guide me in tight spots. That is the case for parking and driving with most places around that vicinity though. Small price to pay for staying right close to the old city.... Fantastic part of our trip!!

Pros: Excellent location overlooking the Venetian port. Breakfast in the morning was very delicious as well.

Pros: The views, the building and the breakfast were very nice, but these were overshadowed by the experience of our stay.

Cons: We do not trust this hotel to honour their reservations. We had booked a room with a balcony only to be given a different room when we arrived. We had been in touch several times just prior to arrival and they did not give us any indication that the room had been changed. They were apologetic for their mistake (after we brought it to their attention) and they gave us a discount, but we were so looking forward to that room and that view. We were really disappointed. Also, above the door to our room was stained glass through which a hallway light shined all night and interfered with our sleep.
