Breakfast was beyond amazing, the chef clearly takes great pride in his craft. The room was very cozy, very comfortable and elegant. The room was provided with board games, which was one of the little extra touches to make spending the night playing scrabble next to a fire in the cottage room an unforgettable night. They offered a firepit outside with complimentary s'more kits which we thought was adorable. Walking the well taken care of grounds was very peaceful and serene as you can swing on a hammock or just sit on a bench by the stream. The history of the grounds, rooms and surrounding area was very informative for a history buff as myself. The staff was very pleasant at the inn. The day spa was very relaxing with amazing massage therapists. Overall I felt the staff takes into consideration the personal needs of every guest and made adjustments if needed (especially with food allergies or aversions to food for breakfast). Love love love it
The Inn was charming Our room was old world but very comfortable Dinner was superb Wine list small but very balanced in choices Breakfast was another fabulous meal before departing All of the people at the Inn were so helpful and charming Couldn’t recommend it enough Plus the grounds are superb
The internet was very erratic But this was a small inconvenience for such a special stay
I loved everything about the property, The drive way from the entrance to the main building had an amazing site. The Main building and its interiors were charming. The guest room was clean and comfortable. I really loved the bathroom with double showers and nice bathtub.
there were few bugs in the guest room. Also, The gas-fireplace was easy to operate, but it would be even better with a real fireplace.
