There is a lovely restaurant with a courtyard to eat breakfast outside. The hotel was impeccable. The location was perfect in the historic district, right next to the outdoor market. I caught a carriage ride right down the street. The room was lovely.
Being able to walk safely everywhere. A lot of places to go. Great restaurants everywhere.
The location is second to none and the staff is fantastic.
The air conditioning in the room didn’t work, they moved me at midnight and wanted me to move back the next morning to the room they thought they could fix and not stay where they moved me. I chose to leave in lieu of moving again. The night staff did not tell the day staff of the A/C problem and that I could depart without risk of payment for the second day. It took my dealing with multiple staff and the general manager. Customer Service was nonexistent any of the staff, we will never return and will tell our associates who are in and visit to avoid the Planters Inn.
Temp in room was 59 degrees-couldn’t raise it-so I shivered all night. If you turn it off, it was balmy in 30”. Only decaf coffee pods
