Cons:They did not have my pick up truck. They told me they couldn’t get one because no one had one. Then they told me they couldn’t check if others had it. They told me to try the airport but that they couldn’t call because the airport doesn’t have a phone. I called the airport and they told me a manager would call me with a location for the pickup trip. They never called me back

Cons:The pick-up and drop off experience was weird. A bunch of customers were in line complaining about their experience and I really didn't like the way the staff handled their complaints. One woman (angrily) said that she had tried calling many times and could not get through. Without missing a beat, an employee stated that the phone was disconnected. How is that an okay response? How is it okay for your phone to be disconnected? It was just awkward standing in line around all of this and it made me nervous that we would be unable to get the car we reserved considering all of the complaining happening around us. My dropoff experience was also terrible. We were returning the car by 5pm on New Years even in Miami. We found an Alamo location closer to our hotel in South Beach and confirmed that we could drop the car off there, we even called Alamos customer service line to confirm the closing time of the location, we were told it was 7pm. We arrived just after 3pm and were told that they were closed. So, I decided to find another location, this one at a hospital, and after driving 30 minutes there I found no location and was told by a security guard that there was no Alamo rental car location there. Finally I returned to the original location where I picked up the car. It was scheduled to close at 5pm, I got there around 4:40 and apparently it was pure luck that I was able to return the car. An employee happened to be moving a car and told me they were closed, but he took the car and keys and said he'd close it out in the morning. He seemed to really want me to get out of there, I was concerned because we didn't do a post-rental inspection, but it seems that he closed it out without issue. Still, it wasn't a great experience to hunt for a location where I could return the car after calling and confirming our plans with Alamo themselves.

Cons:When I picked up the car, the girl behind the counter kept answering her personal cell phone during my heck in process. It was really weird and unprofessional. Also, the car had a faint smell of cigarettes that they tried to mask. Which just made it worse.

Cons:No vans available at either site I was sent to! Did not call me until 15 min prior to pick up. Went to another site and no van either. Will not use budget nor kayak again. Rather pay a higher price to get truthfulness and integrity.
Pros:The fact that my son was going to be 25 within says of the booking and he had to pay thr under 25 fee twice is outrageous.

Cons:Luckily, I called to confirm. At which point they informed me they had changed the location of my pick up (without informing me) and also that there was no car available but they would contact me when I could come pick up my car. I never got a call. Never got a car. Terrible service.

Cons:When we got to the airport we apparently booked at a place offsite from airport, and our we were at the airport after 6 and that offsite place closed at 6. The man at the Sixt counter at the airport would not let us transfer the rental. So I lost $250 and had to book a last minute rental from a different service for $900. Absolutely ridiculous I will NEVER use your service again!
Pros:The gentleman I dealt with was great, helped get us into an amazing BMW with 2k miles that was super clean and drove amazing.

Pros:Vehicle was brand new which was great given COVID.
Cons:The pickup in MIA was terrible in terms of time it took to get the vehicle. We waited about 45 minutes in line and even though I filled out everyone on-line for check-in, it seemed that I repeated the whole process once at the counter. Sixt needs to find a way to speed up the check-in process otherwise I'll go elsewhere.
Pros:The convenience of the store
Cons:No body told me the store was closing at noon I arrived 5 min late and It was closed, had to drive al the way to MIA and I was finned by the company. The car I received was not the one I signed up for, I reserved a focus and receive ed a fiesta. The car was dirty and smell like cigarette
Pros:Staff was exceptionally rude. Our reservation was for 12pm but the manager was closing early that day. He told us to wait out front while he went inside to check on our reservation. Then he locked the door behind him, turned out the lights and left through a back entrance! Terrible!!! (So terrible, it was Hilarious!) But really, how could he behave so unprofessionally? He just left us out there. Would it have been so hard to say “sorry we have to close early today I can’t help you?”
Cons:He could have not left us standing outside and not locked the door and not snuck out the back door and not lied to us. He could have honored our contract with Hertz and delivered our car.
Pros:Nothing. It was the worst rental Experience I ever had.
Cons:I had a reservation for noon and I called and asked are they strict on the time for appointments because I was at work and couldn’t make noon and I would be there on my lunch break between 2-3, they young lady said no. I get there to pick up my rental and they rented the car I reserved. Next they tell me they “upgraded” be to an SUV which is not what I wanted. The car also wasn’t ready so I have to wait about 20-30 minutes. I also changed the time I was going to keep the rental and they end up charging me more because it’s spring break. I get that part but I live locally and already suffering from having been in a car accident so I felt the up charge was ridiculous. I drove the vehicle less than a mile back to work. I drove less than one mile home that night and had a flat tire the next day. I’m told I’m responsible for the tire. The Hertz office did take care of it but eventually said it was a nail in the tire. I find it hard to believe after such a horrible experience that that was the case. I believe the air pressure in the tires was low because they rushed to get it ready. And I would have never been in this situation had they not rented out my car I reserved. Either way, I was already majorly inconvenienced by having to rent a car in the first place and make arrangements via Uber and rearrange my work schedule and the entire experience was awful. I will never use Hertz ever again nor will I recommend via word of mouth.
