Price completely different than what was quoted.
Cons: The car was acceptable. Everything else was confusing and not as expected. The price was not as quoted and there was not any reason given for the change in price. The customer is put in a situation where one has to accept the charges or be without a rental car in a city/country where one might not have the opportunity to go to another company. I originally booked this rental from Kayak assuming that it may be vetted or otherwise regulated. I do not believe that is the case.

Pros: Very nasty people are very rude very rude they’re trying to steal the money from you Don’t even try to rent a car from them they try to show you scratch on the car which doesn’t exist Or to give them Some money for himself . Once again very rude and nasty people

Rude service
Pros: Car was clean, obviously cared for, and ran well.
Cons: One of the employees was incredibly rude to me when I returned my car. He accused me of calling him a criminal and demanded an apology and belittled me. All this was done in Romanian, which he knew my boyfriend didn't understand. He did not address my boyfriend at all during this time, even though the employee clearly spoke English. It was the worst customer experience I've ever had in my life.

Don't rent with Economy. Be aware
Pros: You think they have competitive prices... they don't. They will just charge you a bunch of extra fees once you are ready to pick up the car at the rental car desk. Very sketchy!!
Cons: Not to mention they don't accept your car insurance, but they don't tell you. So unfortunately my car got keyed in Romania, and they just decide to car my credit car that I had on file without my permission. I told them I wanted to go through my insurance and they didn't care. They said quote: "it's your problem now, we have your money!". :(((( so infuriating!! Stay away from them.

Bad welcooming
Pros: Ungortenatlly i had nothing to like
Cons: I had to cancell my reswrvation and pay 63$ more The guy on tge desk was very rude and not clear as all which forced me to cancell the reservation he asked me to pay extra insurance or take car from somewhere else just like that also asked me to leave 10.000 cash in order to get my car while i alreaey paid insurance.

Cons: The website should highlight to customers very clearly and in big capital letters that: - the insurance subscribed on the website is not the insurrance of the rental company - that the rental company does not recognize the website insurrance and will ask you to pay 1500€ - if you dont pay the 1500€ deposit, you loose the money you have already paid to rent the car. - To pay the deposit, the rental company does not accept american express cards and does not accept debit cards. They don't accept Cash neither. -The agency is not inside the airport. They call you to transfer by shuttle to the rental location (5 minutes away by shuttle). So, the rental company does not recognize the Allianz insurrance taken on the website and ask for 1500€ deposit (pre authorization). When we arrived, the rental company made us pay first the rental price (250€). Once paid, they asked us for deposit but the system was rejecting all our cards for th 1500 amount. They did not want to give us the car nor give us back the money we paid. The employees were aggressive and did not want to give us back our money saying that all information are in the terms sheet. Such information should be written as a warning and in capital letter on the website. Thus, we were obliged to pay another very very expensive insurrance from the rental company in order to get the car. The process at the rental agency is clearly made in order to get easy money from the customers because they make you pay first the rental price and then if you cannot pay the 1500€ deposit, you loose the money you paid first or you fight with them. We were not the only customers in this situation. We left and the other group was still negotiating with the company. At the dropoff, the employees were more friendly and all went fine.

Pros: The car worked well
Cons: The guys who checked out our car were rude and snuck in tons of hidden charges. Pointed out damage that you could barely see with the naked eye so we obviously did not have photographs for it. They try and nickel and dime you at every turn. Would not recommend.

Insurance scam
Pros: Car was perfect
Cons: I bought insurance on the site and at the rental place they said it wasn't valid. So I had to buy new insurance!! I'd like the original purchase returned. Pickup and drop-off take a long time. Only 2 people. I will not use them again

Cons: There was no RENTAL as there is no office for Economy Rent a Car in the airport and the people who suppose to come with the car, never came. After waiting for 2 hours in the airport, at 2 a.m., I left with a taxi. The next morning I called and called and called and somebody answered after 11 am to tell me that the rental request was canceled as I didn't show up in the airport to pick up the car :):). To be very honest, I don't even think this company exists in Bucharest. Also, I think Kayak should choose its collaborations a lot wiser. At the end of the day, a good price matters but if the service is poor, or not at all, where is the deal?

Pros: This place is a scam, and Economy is doing nothing about it.
Cons: Operate by another company Ez Fleet, this place scammed us for our "deposit" of $900 on top of a $300 charge for damaged side mirror, that then showed up on a bill as "cigarette burned rood interior" (obviously we are non-smokers). They were so bad at their own scam they must have forgotten what they were trying to rip us off with originally ? We are currently fighting them with the credit-card company and our third party insurance. Such a waste of time. Just DON'T!

Insurance scam
