I'll be taking this complaint to the US embassy. I will hire a local attorney. I will file a chargeback.2.0 Mediocre

Pros:
The car was fine, BUT - see my comments in the "didn't like" section.Cons:
First of all - the folks that work there don't speak any English - or very very little. I hope not to sound "Lingo-centric" in saying this, but I'd think a car rental agency in a tourist destination to have maybe one staff member who could speak English a bit. Here's the issue though... BE VERY CAREFUL when they do the car inspection - especially on the windshield. The roads around Torres del Paine are gravel. When they signed the car out to me, they made note of two small dot-scratches on the windshield. When I returned the car the agent on duty argued that those weren't noted on the inspection forms, and that we had a problem since I'd damaged the car. We finally resolved it, but it took time and nerves and a phone call to folks off-site. Make sure they prominently note any (and every) windshield flaw before you take the car.6.0 Good
