Terrible customer service. Long wait. They charged me the entire price of the rental just for 5 liters of gas when the tank was already full. They are running a scam here. Also tried to charge me for a broken trunk lock when there was photo evidence it was broken before renting.

Total bs with the insurance. Called ahead and tried to get clarification both in America and Mexico. Nothing honest or transparent about any of it. Instead you get to the desk to be scammed by the agent. Then general (mandatory) insurance was $2000 on a $500 rental. I told em to keep it and thankfully was able to rent from a different company for $700 including insurance. My two cents: if insurance is mandatory, then include it in the costs posted to your website. Give us the information to make a good decision

Total con job. Booked the car, went to pick up, told them I was fine with my insurance coverage as I have an elite credit card. All of a sudden, no car and they told me they would get it to my hotel. I called back later, and the reservation was cancelled. We then had no car for our trip. If you don't buy their insurance products you don't get a car. why not be up front about it instead of ruining people's trips. Thank you for nothing Kayak and Hertz. You should not support this business. I know I will never use your services again.
