Westjet food has really gone downhill- bring snacks and food of your own as the meals are very tiny and heavy on potatoes bread and rice. Pasta with a side salad of potato salad or rice/quinoa salad doesn’t make nutritional sense. Overcooked green beans. Both Protein and veg/fruit deficient.

The nutritional basis for having the vegetarian pasta, served with potato salad, a bun and a pastry in the same meal is incredibly carb heavy and unhealthy. Fruits and green vegetables?

I liked getting on the plane first that's it actually. They did a offer to upgrade and it so was not worth it

Better legroom, but it’s expected in economy class. Otherwise great experience

Cons: "Because of Boeing disaster did not go to Halifax but were sent by Westjet to TO and then on with Air France. Boarding areas in TO are a long way away (lot of walking) and customs in TO is frustrating and takes a long time."
Cons: "It was a quick flight up dates were provide at all times"
Pros: "Short and Sweet smooth fligjt"
Cons: "Horrible delays in boarding no tv no entertainment at all."
Pros: "Great crew. Excellent flight and we were even early arriving!!"
Cons: "Could not recline seat in row 30"
Pros: "Check in was quick and easy. Boarding and flight was right on time!"
Cons: "Seats were a very strange shape. They forced me to sit in a hunchback position the entire time. next to no leg room. A very tight uncomfortable space. The three hour flight was about the most I would have been able to handle. Worst seats I’ve seen in a while."
Pros: "The boarding was made very comfortably. The staff was nice."
Pros: "This is what an airline should be like in the US - 1 bag checked without fees, food - snacks and light meal (even on short flights), LEG ROOM, reasonable airfares. Thankfully I live near a Canadian airport. Greedy US airlines with its no-service-unless-you-pay could take a lesson."
Cons: "I am completely satisfied with the airline and its services."
Pros: "Comfortable seat but all and crowded"
Cons: "Entertainment: poor selection of museums c and movies. Aeromexico should adopt the very good entertainment selection on Delta. I did love the documentary La Maleta Mexicana."
Pros: "Crew was great"
Cons: "Wi-Fi never worked going both directions. Also the gate was changed twice. The last change was less than 30 mins before departure and I almost missed my flight!"
Pros: "Entertainment on the long haul was good, no entertainment on the fight from Mexico City to La Paz"
Cons: "Multiple delays and gate changes"
Pros: "The new plane. The food."
Cons: "No entertrainment system the whole trip. The flight was delayed over an hour due to overbooked flight."
Pros: "I like how the crew treats you even when you are checking in your luggage. They try to be as efficient as possible."
Cons: "During our flight there was not air conditioner. It felt hot inside and short breathing at times."
Cons: "We arrived to the airport over two hours before our departure time. We waited in line for over an hour to check our bags and get our boarding passes. When we checked our bags, we were told to hurry as our flight was boarding. We rushed through the airport to get in line to board the plane. When we got to the line to board the plane, we waited another hour before we were told to get on a bus to take us to our plane. Our plan left 45 minutes later than expected, but the airport never communicated any details about a delay. We rushed to wait in line instead of having time to get things at the airport or sit."
Cons: "Flight delayed. They were moving us from door to door. My connecting flight was delayed too. The flight was supposed to leave at 1am when ended up leaving and hour past that plus a lot of children were traveling in that flight and I don’t think it was okay to be moving all these families around from door to door. It was 2am this children needed to be sleeping on Thebes plane that was supposed to leave at 1am. Really disappointed."
Pros: "The price. The beautiful stewards. The cleanliness. The air magazine. The excitement of flying. The window to look out of."
Pros: "Quick boarding. Clean plane."
Cons: "Disgusted that baggage wasn't included in the ticket price. I've taken the route 6 times, and this is the first time baggage wasn't included in my ticket. Seats were very small and cramped, with very little room. Not enough space in the overhead lockers for baggage which made cramped seats even more cramped. The TV didn't work either so was a long flight with little entertainment."
Cons: "The staff did not want to accept my ticket purchased through kayak, told me that should have bought a ticket directly through air transat, and they told me to buy a new ticket elsewhere if I wanted to travel on that day. So I had to buy a same day ticket with air canada for an additional $900 CAD, and my ticket bought through kayak was useless, making me waste the entire cost of the ticket purchased through kayak."
Pros: "The flight was without a hitch. One of the washroom in the plane was out of service but it was a non-issue. My vegetarian meal was the same from my departure flight but still ok. The mac and cheese for kids meal was also not bad. Entertainment was also good. There were a lot of choices for all ages."
Cons: "We waited for a few minutes at the corridor for the shuttle to take us to the plane. Maybe there was only 1 shuttle instead of 2 to take the passengers."
Pros: "The crew was great."
Cons: "The seat space was very narrow for an international flight."
Pros: "We enjoyed flying out of FLL instead of MIA and the time of the flight."
Cons: "Our stroller wasn’t delivered to us at the gate at arrival. Even though we left it at the door of the plane when we got in the plane. We addressed the issue with 3 staff members and the answer was that “we “ failed to requests it. This was a first for me!"
Pros: "The crew was professional and did a great job making sure everyone was informed and well looked after."
Cons: "absolutely no leg room for an average sized man. and forget about it when the person in front of you puts their seat back. ugh, and the food.....not good and expensive."
Pros: "Flow as smooth , attendants were good."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed and then we sat about an hour on board waiting to get de-iced. Ended up over 1 1/2 hours late."
Pros: "direct flight"
Cons: "like being in a flying school bus only the seats are less comfortable"
Pros: "Crew was kind and attentive. Boarding was efficient."
Cons: "Smallest seats I've been in in a while. Very poor on board entertainment (one 10" screen for every 4 rows, damaged audio ports, annoying movie choices). Very limited cabin storage."

Flew Business Class that gave me privileges at the Maple Leaf Lounge which I was looking forward to as this was the Saturday before Thanksgiving, but LGA was quiet. Regardless, the Maple Leaf Lounge was really tranquil and relaxing, sto=cked with a large breakfast selection that had 2 omelettes, sauteed onions and peppers to throw on them, really good bacon, delicious fingerling potatoes, oatmeal with a big variety of garnishes, fresh fruit and cheese, bagels, muffins and other continental items. There was a good coffee machine with terrific espresso (EVEN DECAF ESPRESSO), cans and pitchers of juice, soda amchine and beer taps. By the time I left they had switched the fruit out for salad in advance of lunch and it look like a thorough selection with chicken. The view of the gates and fray below added tot he cocoon I felt I was in. I would pay to do it again and it definitely added to it. For the two flights I was on (to YYZ connecting to YQB) I was served a nice cheese and fruit plate even though they were about an hour. Impressively, on te shorter YYZ to YQB leg I was served warm nuts as well as a hot towel. I only get that when flying long flights on a lie flat seat on the American legacy carriers. Service was warm, welcoming and just made me feel wonderful. I would consider Air Canada for any destination if price were competitive based on the great service.

Seats on rouge are very uncomfortable. I was miserable the entire flight

We were an hour late leaving due to maintenance but it was a good flight. The attendants were great. No entertainment but I enjoyed the cookie. Satisfied and would fly that way again

The attendants were pleasant. Getting on board erratic. No one knew where to board. Last minute gate changes.

food was not acceptable. It did not match the service.

Air Canada cancelled our flight the night before and rescheduled us for a flight 32 hours later than our initial flight. That would have made us miss our events in St. Johns and throw off the rest of our weeks plans. We cancelled our flights and the entire week in Newfoundland. Also want a complete refund not a credit.

We were stranded on the plane in Austin for an hour because no gates were available.

Flight attendants were super, pilot did a great take off and landing, all in all “Great flight”

Cons: "Unclear how Air Canada is still claiming “beat airline in North America.” I think that was true 5+ years ago but the last two years they have been an operational nightmare with customer service also being atrocious"
Cons: "I lost my luggage in the final distention (Riyadh city, Saudi Arabia). I reported it, but no replay until now."

Can't be happy with a 5 hour delay. Only given $10 voucher for food and still EVERYTHING was an upcharge during the flight.

TThe first time I have ever flown with flare and both ways sucked

There was no entertainment There was no food or beverage service , not even a glass of water The plane door could not be opened upon arrival

I try to buy water the cabin crews told me I had to wait for them to come around with the trolley I waited over 2 hours !!!!! Literally 2 hours I was so thirsty .

Lots of leg room in the front rows. Wish water was free.

I don't like anything. The crew was so bad. Misbehaved badly. The worst flight.

Long wait for baggage check in with only one on site attendant.

The worst airlines I have seen in my life they don’t respect anyone they don’t care about anyone they lost our luggage and no one is responding. We waited for five hours to get our luggage back.🤬🤬🤬👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Great staff. Cramped seating for someone 5 feet, 2 inches and average weight. So if you're tall or heavy -- good luck. Even if you wait until the 24 hour checkin time, you still charge for seating. Really? So either it is a less-than-pleasant experience or pay the price of a "big name" airline. And if I'm going to pay their prices, why would I fly in your cramped seat? So, in the end, you want to give less comfort for the same prices as Air Canada. Go figure.

The airplane smokes and they think it's normal.... this is sign of deterioration
