None of the 3 "help" personnel standing around when approached managed to tell me that there was a special counter for handicapped persons. After waiting an additional 15 minutes for a wheelchair, I was deposited in a waiting area, where a second wheelchair arrived after another long wait. Told me I might not make the plan (I did). Overall a very unpleasant and nasty experience. With the exception of the very nice lady (Mrs. Ilser?? ) who checked in my luggage, none of the other 3 persons at the express and regular check-in spoke decent German or English, and none was helpful (Go there, wait!!!) Barely made the plane in MUC, Heathrow turned out much better than the touted German efficiency. Please forward to Lufthansa customer relations. Dr. W. Hartwig"

After five minutes no one came so I went to the assistance desk and they said they hadn't been informed so they sent someone right away. If I hadn't been there to ask, I don't know how long my mom and dad would have sat there. 2. The man who wheeled my dad to the gate was very nice and he said he arranged for all of us to sit together, which was nice because I wasn't able to sit with my parents since we weren't able to choose the same row when we booked. When we boarded, we found out that the seats hadn't been changed, and the person who previously booked the seat beside my parents refused to move so I sat in the row beside them. These problems were minor but they highlighted a lack of communication between staff and the attendant dealing with us wasn't the most friendly either. I used to fly westjet in the early days when I still lived in Canada and I've noticed that the level of service has gone down. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity and space to comment. Pros: "I flew overnight from Toronto, Canada to Dublin and had a relatively pleasant experience. The food and drink trolleys came by quite quickly and frequently, and the food exceeded my expectations. The crew was friendly, for the most part. Boarding certainly could've been smoother... But overall, I'd fly Aer Lingus again for an overseas trip."

Cons: "The hospitality of the airline crew is very poor as they are extremely rude to their customers. The planes I flew on were very out of date and not comfortable for international travel. I have flown on many airlines, but these planes were by far the worst. Cheap price, for a reason. The seats didn’t recline, the food was terrible, no options were given for food, and the movies were pre-picked. No one had a choice in what they watched. Very outdated. I had 2.5 hours to board my connecting flight and they caused me to miss it. As I waited in the customs line entering Lisbon, I asked a TAP representative if I’d have to get out of the line up and go right through as my flight left at 2:10 pm. They said you will make it, stay in line. I get near the front of the line 2 hours later... hundreds of people were in this line and they only had 2/10 customs agents available!!! I ask another representative how far my gate is since my flight leaves in 30 min and she told me “no you missed it. but don’t worry others will be missing it too”. So no I did not miss it, you caused me to miss it cause I already asked if I would and you people told me no. I run to the gate, which has now changed to the other end of the airport, so I run to that gate and it is 10 min before the flight is to take off. I ask the desk agent at the gate and he tells me the flight has already left. Others had missed it too due to the insane customs line up. So the plane left 20 mins earlier than scheduled with only half it’s passengers..... unbelievable!!! When I went to the service desk they did not show any sympathy or apologetic behaviours whatsoever."
Cons: "I had an awful experience. A flight attendant named Comissário Bruno denied me a second dessert when I asked for one. I was flying business class on flight TP059 on March 4 2018 and have Gold status on Star Alliance. Many passengers had declined dessert and I felt extremely embarrassed by having been denied food on a plane for the first time in my life. The attitude and lack of tact of Comissario Bruno on TP059 spoiled the whole flight experience for me."

Surprisingly TAP told me that they could pay the hotel in Newark, but not in Lisbon.. Go figure! Called TAP Customer Service 4 times, 2 from Lisbon 2 from Newark... all cases more than 1 hour wait... AND THEY NEVER EVER ANSWERED!?!?!"

These airlines are doing everything save on costs by jamming as many people as possible onto an aircraft...this makes for a terribly uncomfortable 12hr long red-eye flight. The food was mediocre at best (my gf actually got sick from it), and the boarding process was anything but organized, allowing anyone to board at any given time. It was very hectic and took far too long."

We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."
