After a swift boarding we had to wait in the plane for over 40 minutes to take off. The same happened when we landed. Alaska had much more work to do on their timetable
My first flight was delayed by over an hour, luckily I had Long layovers on an itinerary from hell, because when you book a Saver ticket, they change your itinerary and make it many stops and long layovers, and there were still delays. On the return flight there was a delay in the first leg, Orlando to Seattle, so I got up really early for nothing, and on the last leg Anchorage to Fairbanks, it was over 2 hours late taking off! I didn't get home until 1 :30am! By the time I got my luggage, the flight landed at 1 am. For the departure day, I was up from 6am to when I arrived the next day at 6am in Orlando. So I was up for 22 hours, 3:15am to almost 2 am the next day. On the return day. The moral of the story is, DON"T EVER BUY SAVER TICKETS! You can't even upgrade your seat when you do that and then at the last minute they want Big bucks to upgrade the day before leaving.

The flight was fantastic. All the crew staff were wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and they went out of their way to help make it such an enjoyable flight! I think on such a long flight there should have been some food given. Even cheese and crackers and maybe some cookies!
Plane seats are comfortable and seemed more roomy than others I have been on. Playing was clean and flight crew friendly. Passengers who have a connecting flight should however be allowed off the plane first
Upgrading from premium class to first class caused me to almost miss my seat on the flight. The system “un checked me in”. So I not only lost my first class seat, but my premium seat too so I alsmot didn’t have a seat on the plane. The app did not let me know as it was showing my seat assignment all the way up until boarding began. This exact same thing happened to another passenger. And to top it off, I now have to jump through hoops to get my refund. Awful experience with Alaska, I don’t intend to fly with AA again unless there are no other options.
Very satisfied with the trip, using Kayak and Alaska Airlines.

Good experience, first time flying Alaska Air. Slight delay boarding, but still arrived on time. Excellent leg room! Very friendly flight attendants.
Alaska Airlines was hit with a bad IT outage. I think its a one off and dont want to give a bad feedback to them because of that. In addition, to all the delays our particular flight had a health incident and had to stop midway. Again no negative feedback because of that. However the way they dealt with the delay was not genuine. First the communication was not consistent and always kept changing. I lost a day and $647, completely because of them. They promised a refund which i have complaints about. First it was never given to me. They aksed me to call them or text them and the wait time was 1.56 hour for calls and 3:50 hours for texts. Finally when they texted back, the support executive was rude and asked me to get my refund from Delta the other airline that i booked my ticket because Alaska cancelled their flight. When I asked why Delta would pay me for Alaska’s delay she just ended the chat. To get back on the chat I had to wait for 3.5 hours. I could not. Second they announced that even if they pay us, they would not refund us cash but were giving us a discount on future travel. I vowed never to go back to Alaska so, i do not want the discount refund. Overall, I am terribly unhappy with Alaska Airlines and never going back.
There were no TV screens - even in Business class. 5 delays, and only given $12 meal voucher! Terrible!
The professionals have excellent customer service, the seats don´t have enough space.

Worst flight ever. I was suppose to have a 3 1/2 hour layover in Chicago but got to the gate 4 minutes before boarding.
Flight was delayed again and again ultimately almost three hours getting us to our location at close to midnight by the time we got in and out of airport to destination. I had taken time off work to enjoy an evening at destination and that was now wasted
A cookie and a soda, packed like sardines, will never be a positive experience. Also, boarded a 5:30 flight at 7:45pm
They cancelled my flight and downgraded me to economy and only gave me $250 for the downgrade
At the beginning of the flight there was some turbulence and the announcement was made that there would be no beverage service. The turbulence only last about 5 minutes then it was smooth sailing. I noticed that first class got their service, but the rest of us did not.
The flight was full and good as could be expected. We arrived early which is always a good thing.
Experience was good, the wifi hook up is somewhat tough
Plane was one hour late. Hardly any space for our carry-ons. Stressful to catch connections.
The delays were never ending and we were never properly informed as to why. 1st and 2nd delay were handled well, but by the time we received our 7th delay, and then subsequently asked to willingly get bumped, it turned into one of the worst flying situations of my life. I didn’t get home until 2am which is roughly 5 hours later than originally planned.
Great flight, great landing, nice staff. Our seats were a little cramped.
I will not be flying with westjet again. I was uncomfortable in my seat. The position made my back hurt so bad. My wife was able to fit the seatbelt around her with out an extension but was unable to put the tray table down or fit in the seat for that matter. Our bag was smashed and I spent two hours trying to fill out the application for a damaged bag before I gave up. The 80 photos I took would not work and nothing telling me the format to upload them as.. I made the mistake of unpacking the bag before taking photos so no claim for me. Next trip to Canada I will have to use air Canada.
No food, water, snacks.”beverages”. This was on Christmas Day. Upgrading cost $100, for what exactly?
Overall good experience. The wait for baggage at our destination was quite long, but other than that everything was good as expected
