Leaving it! Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything in th next room. My door didnt fit the casing properly and when someone went into the next room I thought they were coming into mine at three in the morning. My daughters room faced onto the main road and she was kept awake all night by ambulance and police alarms and trafffic noise and drunks in the rooms next and above her. The rooms were supposed to be non smoking but the couple in the next room were smoking and others who smoked went outside and banged three sets of doors to get there. The place was hell.....and the next day we complained to the manager who said there was a night manager on,,No evidence of anyone around as all was closed!
Staff very friendly
I thought the room was a little small/cosy and no bath.
The rull of room was dark, full of cobwebs where it hadn't been cleaned properly, the carpet was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, with bits on the floor. The towels were damp in the bathroom on our arrival. All in all you need to put a hotel inspector into the property
I liked the friendliness of the staff and I also felt a "happy atmosphere" around the place even when they appeared extremely busy during meal times. Overall I found the hotel very good value for money.
The grounds outside the hotel are neglected; hanging baskets are withered; flagstones dirty and weeds sprouting up everywhere. This does nothing to enhance the building and is a let down to the staff and guests
location (proximity to an activity), quiet room, friendly staff
difficulty locking room door, instant coffee at breakfast
The comfort and cleanlines and most importantly the safety of the environment.
Difficult to ask questions and get any answers. I also found it extremly noisey due to its position by a busy road.
Excellent service with everything!
Clean, friendly staff and quiet
Area, cleaning staff were inpatient well before our checkout time
