9.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to access. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: because it's in the dessert there's insects everywhere. There was a sign in the lobby alerting guests but there were gaps under the doors where cockroaches entered. I suggest providing something for guests to cover those gaps when sleeping.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast choices
Cons: No, good value
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. Although the hotel is located right off I5, the room was quiet, and we were able to get a good night's sleep. Everything we needed for a quick overnight stay was right there. Dinner at the Denny's next door was surprisingly good with some decent healthy options. There were a couple of gas station/convenience stores a very short walk from the hotel. Staff was very nice.
Cons: The breakfast room was small, and it was difficult not to be in someone's way unless seated. I never like hotel breakfasts, but the offerings were quite decent and most people would be satisfied. Coffee was hot and fresh. They also had breakfast available from 5 am to 10 am, longer hours than usual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value
Cons: No
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were warm and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Location off of i5 was convenient.
Cons: The breakfast room is very small and was hard to navigate. The smell from the cattle facility nearby was overwhelming on the night we arrived-- temperature was very high that night.
7.0 Good
Pros: Was a very nice looking hotel
Cons: Had spider and cockroaches greet us in the bathroom
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff is VERY friendly, and the breakfast was excellent too.
Cons: Not a large variety of places to eat.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Room was large, spacious and nicely furnished given the kind of hotel. Staff was friendly. It was extremely convenient off of the highway
Cons: Could have been a little cheaper, but is comparable to other hotels off of the 5
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Beautifully landscaped. Great shower.
7.0 Good
Pros: morning meal was great. room to walk the dog. easy access off I-5. friendly staff. free Wall Street Journal. spacious rooms. plenty of parking space.
Cons: Pet fee was high at $30. early morning thunderstorm knocked out power for an hour, but not hotel's fault. large snake under my vehicle (copperhead, I think) which moved away as I lobbed ice at it. it's an agricultural area and, after all, snakes keep down rat and mice population. Also lots of snails on walkways in morning, which I don't mind, and flies (it's the climate) and a couple of cockroaches (easily removed) which I do mind. Lots of doves, too, which provide a soothing soundtrack.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room size was amazing. Internet was fast.
Cons: Location right next to highway. Also the smell of manure was overwhelming
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff; clean accommodations; perfect place to overnight enroute from Medford, OR to Palm Springs, CA.
Cons: Not the fault of the motel but aroma from nearby ranch can sometimes be "breathtaking"!!!

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Every time I. Check in the price is different. I pay 63.99. Corporate rate and new this guy charge my 80. Not cool I’ve spent thousands here now I’m changing hotels I’m gonna be staying here for about another year
6.8 Good
Pros: Close to freeway. Gas, fast food, and Denny's practically adjacent to property.
Cons: First lady in office wasn't friendly. Her assistant was very helpful and considerate. The Harris Ranch cattle feed lot is directly opposite the freeway. The "cow perfume" odor was very strong. We didn't care to use the pool, so it wasn't a problem for us.
7.5 Good
Cons: Well your location it’s ok but it is really bad smells I don’t know how the health services person say about the smells
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was great to be able to top up with free ice. It's a basic accommodation but met our needs
Cons: There was no microwave or fridge in the room, which was disappointing as I thought this was included. This meant we had no where to keep our food.
6.8 Good
Cons: The smell everywhere outside was oweful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: James at the front desk went over and above. He is a total gem and Motel 6 is very lucky to have an employee like him.
Cons: Nothing
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: zip zilch nada
Cons: Asked for ground floor room--bad knees, husband has arm in sling--request confirmed. At property rudely told not available--too bad. This is a safety issue for us. Also NO WASHCLOTHS in room and none available when asked-told to come to front desk (another trip down/up stairs) none available. Had to kill 3 crickets in room. Rude, no basics, uncaring--never again
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good pit stop. Very Basic- but just fine. We had a disabled shower that was huge- loved it!
Cons: Beds a bit hard. Only Coffee in lobby- no hot water to make tea which is what I wanted :-( and only sweet n low- no Splenda :-(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a really nice, clean, safe motel, at a very reasonable price. The pool area is very nice. And the lady at the front desk was extremely sweet and kind. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning in the near future.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard.
6.3 Good
Pros: Right next to the freeway. The room was super clean, tidy and fresh looking.
Cons: First and foremost, because of the farm located nearby the entire area smells like mmm manure Also, the hotel next door offers free breakfast and other amenities for the same room price. Finally, wi-fi was terribly slow - impossible to work
7.0 Good
Cons: no ref.. no hair blower....
Laura Lodge - Coalinga - Building

6.8 Good (127 reviews)
C$ 70+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Laura Lodge in Coalinga, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Coalinga City Office and R.C. Baker Memorial Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.7 Okay
Pros: If you can't afford a hotel, then of course the price is right. Staff is nice and it's walking distance to "downtown." Residents are mostly long term people working jobs in the area, which is a little more comfortable.
Cons: Found roach traps in the room which immediately makes you feel icky. No food, coffee, or vending machine available. A hotel is better, but if you're broke, it gets the job done... Bed, shower, tv.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Some of the positives: There was a TV, microwave, refrigerator, and an air condition that will freeze out in the middle of the summer.
Cons: This place is the epitome of a dive. The mirror in the bedroom was smeared. The blinds were absolutely filthy. The bath mat was disgustingly soiled. The baseboards were old and dirty. The bed was too soft. The vanity was outrageously grungy.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Should allow late check out without charging for it. Ridiculous....
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly employees. They were ready to give everything.
Cons: Very old every stuff
7.5 Good
Pros: The room could use some refresh but was well maintained and clean. Still an excellent value considering the price.
Cons: The parking might lack spaces if the motel get full.
6.8 Good
Pros: Price was great
Cons: We were suppose to have late check out but they were knocking at the door an hour and a half early. Fortunately, we were already packed and ready to go anyways. Also, we arrived at about 2a.m.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Old motel but very clean, new bed, new bedding, very friendly couple running the place (probably the owners). It was the best rate in town
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I didn’t get anything breakfast . Not sure if there even was any . The area where the location was pretty quiet . I was only there Saturday night & I slept early that night because I had been traveling . I would say the area is pretty quiet . It wasn’t loud , I was able to sleep peacefully .
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like about the room was that the sheets on the bed kind of were pokey. I ALWAYS carry my own bed sheets , blankets & pillow cases when I’m staying elsewhere . For this same reason that these bed sheets were kind of pokey.
7.5 Good
Pros: while a little run down, it was clean and comfortable with good internet, microwave and refrigerator.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable mattress and soft, quality linens. Convenient microwave and refrigerator. Friendly staff. Much prefer staying in the town of Coalinga over the freeway stop. Funky but clean and great value for the price.
Cons: In need of a cosmetic tune-up, but remarkably clean considering the worn nature of the structure.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Best place to stay in the area. For the small oil town of coalinga it was great
4.5 Okay
Pros: The owner worked with us and ended up giving us two beds instead of one.
Cons: The toilet was leaking water everywhere in the bathroom and I ended up slipping and falling straight on my back :(

7.0 Good
Pros: The bed was pretty new and comfortable. The wifi worked ok. The proprietor was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The place is really beat up and it could have been cleaner, but there were no bugs.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all! I would never stay there!
Cons: The location , the property looks dirty, the staff is rude, the rooms are too small, the rooms are dirty , only one towel per room , in the shower a little water but more hot than cold, no amenities at all, I had to move from one room to another one because the sheets were dirty and a lot of hair all over the bed ! Nasty !!!!
7.0 Good
Pros: The man at the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful and nice. I was very tired when I got there and he set us up quickly and even turned on the ac for us to cool the room off before we headed up to the room. He double checked that we were ok before returning to sleep in his quarters.
Cons: The place needs updating badly. The furniture was a bit sketchy and the tube tv was odd. But I was able to sleep. No bugs in the room, the shower was clean so that was good. I would've liked to have 3 towels for 3 people but the guy was so nice I didn't want to buy him again.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean towels. Owners were very kind.
Cons: Live and dead cockroaches, very tiny room, didn't feel safe, even the owners kept their office door locked until you pressed the doorbell. The bed wasn't comfy and comforter had holes and strings hanging on it that caught in fingers and toes. I'm sorry but it just isn't a good place to stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hosts were incredible nice and very kind! They made sure that my stay was as comfortable and safe as possible. The room had a fridge and microwave.
Cons: The property is pretty run-down. However, the bed was comfy and I only stayed one night.
6.8 Good
Cons: Party next store. Room smelled lie smoke. Decor was awful.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was cheap.
Cons: Horrible room with rock hard bed and pillows. No courtesy toiletries. Only one towel per person.
7.5 Good
Pros: Quite,good location.a/c. Microwave.
Cons: Beds are hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet
Cons: Not too many tv channels
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a very large and spacious King size Unit. It was basically the size of a small apartment. I give lots of credit for the size of the place and the number of closets and places to keep your bags. Has a kitchenette!!! Staff was very courteous and accommodating despite some of the drawbacks.
Cons: I would not highly recommend the place, but it is a pretty good value for the money. The unit definitely needs some renovations. There are misplaced shelves And other furniture that was either very old or needed to be replaced or removed. Towels may not have been all that clean. Dust was everywhere.
