Mauritius Komfort Hotel in der Altstadt

Hotel staffs were courteous and helpful.Breakfast was good. Amenities in room were also good.

Bed was so soft and bumpy that people who want to hard surface for sleep , like me , found difficult to sleep

Nice room but nothing exceptional. Good location at 2 minutes from the Rhein and the old City and 10 minutes walking from the Dom. The breakfast was good and cheap.

The bathroom was a bit outdated compared to the rest of the room. The room was also a bit noisy, not perfectly insonorisated from the corridor but it was ok at night. A bit pricey for what it's worth.

very near Tram line to Messe wher3e I was attending a trade fair and near the Altstadt

I was kept awake all night by a domestic bird (possibly a parrot) and when I tried to get some sleep the following morning, it started off again. absolute nightmare as I had numerous business meetings and was shattered for most of them. I mentioned it at reception but no compensation was offered. In fact I was charged a city tax on top of the amount I agreed when bookin on the internet. I have looked for an email in relation to thyis city tax and I haven't recieved one. The only mention of city tax is that city tax is not applicable to this booking.
