The Grand Lodge in Crested Butte offers value, convenience, and location for all types of travelers, year-round. The overall environment is relaxed with a touch of luxury. Travelers also get the most bang for their buck, also known as value luxury.

Located inside Crested Butte Mountain Resort, the Grand Lodge is worth the stay. While it’s not ski-in, ski-out, it’s close. Across the street from the village area where the Silver Queen and Red Lady lifts are, this hotel couldn’t be more perfectly located. During ski season, guests at The Grand Lodge get free ski valet service making life easier in more than one way. In addition, The Grand Lodge also has on-site dining, a newly renovated swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and access to everything mountain-based due to the location.

Featuring 266 oversized hotel rooms and spacious suites, the Grand Lodge accommodates all types of travelers. Every room is surprisingly affordable and includes comforts and conveniences to make travelers stay ideal, any time of the year. The rooms at Grand Lodge are equipped with a ceiling fan, box fan, and at least one opening window to assist with climate control. However, like most Colorado mountain resorts, the hotel does not offer air-conditioning in guest rooms. Each room includes standard conveniences and necessities, and some are pet-friendly and accommodate more people.

Grand Lodge is a great hotel in Crested Butte Mountain Resort for families and couples. It’s perfectly located to everything travelers would want easy access to, plus rooms are affordable, spacious and clean.

Suite had a separate bedroom but had absolutely no ventilation! Only a fan that pushed around stale warm air. We knew there was no A/C but thought there would be natural ventation! Property needs to replace fixed window with operable window!

Cons (-) The restaurant Or staff there was terrible and couldn’t handle a busy crowd. Never once were able to be seated. Front desk staff often had no answers for questions and were unable to help.

Pros (+) The location is good, especially easy to walk to the venue for the music festival events. Plenty of hot water, room was clean and spacious. Kitchenette was very handy.
