Join us at AmericInn Lodge and Suites Crookston U of M Crookston, located in the heart of the Red River Valley and just minutes from University of Minnesota Crookston. Conveniently situated off U.S. Route 2, our comfortable hotel is close to some of northwestern Minnesotas most scenic outdoor attractions, such as beautiful parks, golf courses, and snowmobile trails. We are also near Riverview Hospital and several local businesses, including American Crystal Sugar Company and SunOpta.

Pros: The room was good sized and the location was convenient to the college
Cons: The room hadn't been cleaned when we opened the door. The bed was unmade, there was a bloody pillow on the bed and wet towels all over the floor. We were just given linens and had to make the bed ourselves as the hotel was full and no housekeepers the

Pros: The hotel is very clean. From the time you enter the building you can see it's well maintained. The room was comfortable and also clean. I am a repeat visitor to this Hotel. I also like the fact that there is always coffee in the lobby for our convenience.

Pros: Quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Hot tub was out and the front desk staff was not thorough. The manager was great and fixed payment issues.

Pros: It was good for what we needed-a place to sleep before touring campus.
Cons: The hallways smelled really bad. The beds were super uncomfortable and the bedding stunk like bleach.

Cons: The spa tub has no way to get out of it safely. The floor was slippery with no bath mat. There were no handrails and the step from the inside of the tub to the floor is at least 4 feet. I fell and hurt my back along with many bruises.

Pros: Bed was fine. Bathroom was always clean. General outlook of hotel was great. Good is located close to the varsity.
Cons: The ladies at counter do not have etiquette for their job. Lack customer service for guests. Ignored warnings that there was no more eggs. Rude response to simple questions or request made. Phone in my room never worked, and promise was made to fix it, it was not throughout our stay(3days).

Cons: Could not adjust the heat-room was chilly ALL the time No fan for the heater-only thermostat on the wall No note pad in room for notes rooms were clean with some dirt on the water knobs NO tea in room or in lobby-had to ask for tea only ONE garbage can in room only ONE box of kleenx Remote did not work well-had to have it reprogrammed VERY limited channels on television
