Pros (+) It's literally 3 minutes from everything downtown. It's a quaint hotel and the prices are super reasonable for the location and size.
Cons (-) There were a few places on the walls where the paint could have been touched up. I'm also not a fan of the soap dispensers in the shower. Just a personal preference, and I usually bring my own.
Pros (+) Very clean. Newly remolded.
Cons (-) Wifi password wasn't posted anywhere, went and asked for it and it was a bunch of numbers and I went back to my room and typed it in and it was wrong... no shampoo or conditioner in shower.
Pros (+) Don't be discouraged by the dingy looking exterior- it was a very nice room for the price! Nice shower, plenty of outlets, amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and soap, with clean towels. Cable TV and comfortable chair. Exceptional customer service.
Cons (-) Uncomfortable bed and rough feeling sheets. Close to the road, so plenty of noise from trucks. Some ants in parts of room.

Cons (-) I had food that needed a refrigerator and the room did not have one. No microwave either. I got bug bites on my foot.
Pros (+) USB and electric plugs by the bed for conveniently charging your phones and laptops. Clean and has a nice bathroom with great water pressure.
Pros (+) Surprisingly nice and comfortable for the price. TV, Wifi, etc. Room as clean and as big as you'd need it to be. Pretty close to downtown Des Moines. Staff was nice, but I didn't have any problems to test them with. Would stay again.
Cons (-) Outside of the motel and the sign makes it look very cheap and crummy (fortunately it is just a ruse and it's nice inside). Shower head was a little weird to me, (has high enough pressure but spray is pretty narrow, and I had to duck a bit).
Pros (+) Our stay here was great. The room was very clean and the staff stayed up late to check us in. It reminded me of a Hilton, but with much better value.
