The owner gave us a ride to our appointment we were late for. What a legend
Nice size room.
Wifi connection didn't work, netflix didn't work on the TV.
What a beautiful part of Victoria.
Great service from staff and secluded location with private balcony facing vineyards. It's just a short walk to nearby winery and short drive to several others within a few kilometers.
Somtimes it can be a bit noisy in the morning if bird scarers are used in nearby vineyards
Very basic, would not return
When I arrived I was given a key and told 'number 9 ' I was not offered to be shown to my room at all which seemed rude and was told to write my credit card details down. Not much of a greeting! I asked if there was a taxi company as I needed to get to a wedding that day, I was told no they only knew of one driver and had no idea if he was working - really bad customer service. The room was not very clean, there was still empty sanitary packets in the drawers, cigarette in the ashtray, not wiped down outside and maintained, tired in general and not properly mopped in the bathroom. holes in the walls, and just in need of a coat of paint. The ironing board looked like it had been burned several occasions and looked terrible. The clock in the room had not been set, so just seemed like no one really took pride in the place. I asked for a quiet room, I was in a room that had the option to open into the room next to me - which was fine until the following morning when I realized a family was staying in there and was woken up at 6am to a small child watching cartoons and yelling all morning. Again, not the families fault - this was up to the hotel to ensure people were placed properly. I know there were other rooms available and the hotel was not at full occupancy. Fairly disappointing overall, I am glad it was just the one night as I had originally planned two. I would say the bed was the most impressive thing as it was actually comfortable, but as for the rest I think whoever is running the hotel has absolutely no pride in their work and has let the standards slip.
