A hidden gem
I booked my stay at The Tuscany Hills Resort because the price was great and it was conveniently situated to reaching a wide number of San Diego locations I had to call on for business. What I got was a very authentic feeling Tuscan family style hideaway. The surrounding scenery was gorgeous, and the cascade of small "soaking pools" that flowed through a garden area connected by mini "waterfalls" were a delight to unwind in each evening and wake to in the crisp January mornings. Add a nicely decorated room and a full size swimming pool for the family, and this place offered loads of benefits at a meager price.
The 24 hour spa pools were nice. The resort was extremely quiet, relaxing, and the landscape was beautiful.
There were lots of spider webs in the room. The décor of the room was old and appeared unfinished.
