Staff, location, menu, decor.
Lack of lounge facilities. Non functional safe in room.
Great location, staff very friendly, rooms tastefully designed if small
Very expensive at 110 Euros mid-season, breakfast an additional 10 Euros for limited choice. At breakfast the first morning, the small pots of jam on our table had already been opened and half consumed, but the lids put back as if they were new (though this may have been an accident as it did not happen the 2nd morning. Rooms very small
After a full day out visiting various places it was good to get back for a shower and a lovely meal.
The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The dinner I had in the restaurant was excellent and not overpriced. The staff were very helpful.
The phone didn't work in my room, but the manager sorted that out for me.
Hotel room was very nice, the dinner too. This hotel has beautiful surrounding but it is high in the mountain so somebody will not like that. I didn't have the feeling of being in a hotel room, I felt like I visited my Grandma at the countryside - I loved that feeling! :) The young waiter at the breakfast was very polite and kind. The reastaurant is beautiful especially in the evening.
The older waiter didn't understand English good but he gave his best to communicate with us so it was not that bad in the end.. But IMHO if you want tourists to come to your hotel you need to have educated staff, we can't all speak French. I asked for a blanket and pillow because we had a triple room and my bed had no pillow. And we didn't get a receipt when we payed, I don't think I have to demand it. The breakfast is poor and expensive but the cheese was really good.
Conveniently located a short drive from Eze Village with nice gardens which form part of the restaurant
If you like shabby chic, this is the place to go! Not genuinly old but a nice try to make it look real. Some really beautiful interior and some a little artificial. Beautiful views and surroundings. One can get there by bus but not to late and not too often.
superior room very small, but nice terass. Only VIP:s can get a bathrobe...
Generally well appointed hotel.
Broken toilet seat, given remote control with no batteries (check in process rather hurroied and not very welcoming) breakfast rather meagre
The setting and amenities of this hotel were fabulous - very beautiful pool and gardens, picturesque surroundings, and delicious, gourmet-level food, all at very reasonable prices. This was an exquisite place to stay, with much character and comfort, and a feeling of relaxation, as if it were your home. We look forward to coming back and staying much longer next time.
Rooms are quite small, and a little fridge in the room would have been welcome. But the bed was comfortable and overall the hotel is delightful.
