Locanda Orchidea - B&b

Previous stays there made me glad to be there again. It's such a pleasant atmosphere, and so well run.

All perfect.

Lovely variety for breakfast. Host, Luciano was very helpful even before we arrived. I will visit the B&B again. Bed comfortable. Lovely accommodation. Very central to everything in Florence. Loved that we were given a mosquito plug in which was thoughtful. Highly recommend staying at Locanda Orchidea.

There was a missing panel in the shower sliding doors. Other than that, everything was to like!! It was hot/humid without air con on at night which we opted not to have on to save energy. However, would definitely return to Locanda Orchidea in a heartbeat. (Disappointed that I didn’t take photos inside but the Internet ones are true to life).

Perfect place, excellent location, great and helpfull host. Room was very spacious and clean, nice variety at breakfasts. Very positive experience staying at this hotel. Lots of good places to eat nearby.

Noisy at nights outside. Mini-bar/mini-fridge would have been a great addition to the room.

Location was perfect Within walking distance of all locations

We had a window on the street and thus the room was noisy if you do not like noise ask for a back room

Centrally located in the heart of historic Florence, this bed & breakfast is highly recommendable. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice facilities and super friendly staff - you can’t ask for more really.

There is a night club on the other side of the courtyard. Some of the bass is audible on Saturday nights - but to be fair, it is not loud (it is audible), and given the central location, this was expected (you can’t have it all). I still fell asleep easily and slept well. No noise on Friday or Sunday night.
