Just the view is the great thing ..
The breakfast coffee muffin juice and cereal. The pool dirty and cold. The elevator dirty. It could use a paint and overall cleaning but it one of the cheapest with great view

Close to many venues and the sea wall.
No closets. Toilet in the corner. Bathroom had half a tub. Water pressure was terrible. Couldn't shower half the time. Very run down. Chains on door. Noisy HVAC. Breakfast was literally dry cereal and packaged muffins.

Our TV didn't work correctly. We put on Pandora and talked for hours. We've been married for 22 yrs and this was an amazing stay

Kitschy and Comfortable
Location was great, right across from the Gulf, balcony with a water view in every room. Attached to a mediocre breakfast spot that does room service on request. Pool area facing Gulf / Seawall Blvd with a delightfully tacky tile fountain pouring into the heavily chlorinated pool. Cute in the way that old 60's and 70's motor hotels can be provided you don't expect the Four Seasons for your $80/night. You get what you pay for. I was happy.
Staff was not especially polite or accommodating. Room A/C was set to arctic upon arrival. Cleaning staff had my dates incorrect and woke me up as if I was being raided by the police, then acted as if I were the one that had made a mistake. Entire operation a bit dilapidated. Basic customer service absent, but I arrived late - perhaps the day shift is more personable.
