The room was an exterior chalet type building. Generally everything looked worn and tired, except the front gardens and swimming pool. We asked for 2 glasses to have a drink outside our chalet and were given plastic ones. Mould on the ceiling. No hot water was running and the fridge was dirty and as we found out later leaked water all over the floor. We were moved inside the main house as compensation and had the price reduced with a bottle of wine given to us on our departure.
The location was outstanding and views from window spectacular (however we were fortunate to have a lake view room) The garden area was lovely to sunbathe in and beautifully maintained. The room we had was large. Stunning-looking building from the lake/gardens.
Typical Italian decor (dark, dated). Bath had a severe leak which flooded bathroom more than once. Air conditioning switch was broken so had to leave on for 5 days even though cold at night. The breakfast wasn't the best we had had in Italy (we went into town for our breakfast even though we had paid for it as the food was very tailored for Germans).
Beautiful gardens, pool and setting on lake. Staff charming and helpful. Spacious room with views over lake. Garda a short walk away along the lake.
Bedrooms and communal areas are dated but perfectly comfortable and clean.
it was not made clear on the booking application that the room that we stayed in was not part of the hotel but an annexe.Definitely not four star and disappointing.Poor value for money
this hotel provides a nice relaxed ambience, the gardens are big enough to find a quite corner and the pool was excellent,a good size and the infinity style a good idea.
the original room was a bit dated ( we were moved because the air con was not working)and there was no offer off a balcony/lake view when booking
