Very cool hotel, not too far from a whole road of restaurants. Also there is a coffee place right next to it that serves proper cappuccino or latte or similar brews, which I appreciated. The staff are super friendly, and the manager Mrs. Huyen, who speaks excellent English was very sweet and helpful. Value for price, this hotel does not get better.

very confortable,fan +aircon,fridge,beautiful cieling picture.everything quite new. near restaurants and interesting market.little tourists.we spent 4 nights instead of one.
the shower is not separated,all the water goes on the ground.the next going to toilet is getting wet feet.

The room was excellent, easily the nicest I've stayed at in Vietnam. The staff was extremely polite and attentive, they offered suggestions for dining and drinks in the area, and allowed motorbikes to be parked in the building for security's sake. I've paid ten times as much for half the experience and comfort in the US. If I return to Halong City I will *definitely* stay at Starlight Hotel again!
The hotel is on a very small connector road between two through streets, if you're not using GPS or are aware of its exact location it would be very easy to pass by.
