Pros: The host was really nice and really helpfull with my wife and I, spent time with us taking care of every tiny aspect of our visit. Would come back with pleasure any time :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our rooms were clean, comfortable and with a lovely view. We needed two rooms and the property accommodated us so that we were right across the hall. The whole property is well decorated and warm. We loved having the delicious breakfast in the garden.

Pros: Lovely friendly staff . Beautiful old house very well kept . Location fantastic with some great restaurants.
Cons: Paid above top price for room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Vie en Rose! Maison de Lucie is a treasure! From the location, to the staff, to the garden, to the rooms, to the breakfast. The pleasant surprises were endless. It lies astride a wonderful little road up or down the hill, depending from where you approach. The staff, from the owner to the cleaners were pleasant, hospitable and friendly without exception. We had the pleasure of taking our breakfast in their eye-catching garden. Many passers-by cannot resist the urge to take a peek inside when coming upon Maison de Lucie. The room - we had the attic suite - covered the entire floor. Rustic, with wonderful rafters and a classic design it was a delight. An absolute delight. I believe I took a bath every single day, in the classic, spacious, cast iron tub. The breakfast was well stocked with pain, croissant, home made jam, honey, coffee and tea. Upon request delicious scrambled eggs or omelettes were cooked up by a smiling staff. This hotel is the top of the bill. Every day when we returned from our trips to the coast or country side, the staff would ask us how our day was and a pleasant conversation followed without exception. We will definitely return! Merci!

Pros: This was one of the best small hotels I have stayed. The owner and staff take enormous pride in the beautiful surroundings and making your feel as comfortable as possible. It is home away from home and hopefully we will be back regularly.

Pros: Simply exceptional in every way, wonderful staff, comfortable room, perfect location. A real home away from home. In fact on check out we bought a voucher for a room night for some good friends. We shall certainly return.
Cons: There’s really nothing that could be improved here. As long as you understand it’s a small boutique hotel and not a Four Seasons resort.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A lovely hotel with beautiful furniture and decoration. Very friendly people. Excellent location. Very good coffee for breakfast.

Cons: Only negative point: for me the bed was too hard.
7.1 Good
Pros: Property is beautiful and would have really enjoyed the grounds if had it not been for the weather.
Cons: It was a little farther from Omaha and Utah beaches etc. The staff spoke absolutely no English but were very pleasant
8.3 Excellent
Cons: tv in English fridge in room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A very nice place to visit and we made to feel very welcome. Breakfast very nicely presented with a good choice of healthy options. Beautiful gardens and comfortable room.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Perhaps slightly expensive but, to be fair, we have not stayed at other similar accommodation locally, so our perception may be incorrect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens, peaceful setting and very secure and private
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful buildings, furniture, furnishings and grounds
Cons: Road in front, but quiet at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super location, gorgeous suite Agapanthe, fantastic breakfast, very friendly service
Cons: That our stay was too short
6.7 Good
Pros: The friendly staff and the lovely Labrador
Cons: Two flights of steep narrow winding stairs to the room and 29 steps to the car park. If like most clients you stay for one or two nights it's not too much of a problem but we were there for 8 nights. That's 8 times up and down two flights of stairs. At nearly 80 years young with Arthritis it wasn't a good experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We rented the 4-bedroom house which was great. Very clean, very nice equipment, very comfortable bedding. The place is very nice and liveable for 8 people. The staff is very helpful and very nice.
Cons: On the higher end in terms of pricing. Especially that for the gîte cleaning is not included and linen and towels need to be removed by renters.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a last minute booking late in the day after a long drive. I best I can describe this accommodation is a barn conversion in the large garden of our host and extremely quaint. Our host, Jean was charming, personable and keen to help us explore without being intrusive. The apartment was a large space, warm and fully equipped. Along with a large bathroom stocked with toiletries. At Breakfast time, we had a lovely basket placed on our window sill full of lovely goodies including Pastel de nata's ! We were given an late check out too (Thank you for that). We were also able to park our car directly outside the apartment.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good size with fridge, microwave and coffee/ tea and breakfast provided in the room. En-suit and parking in front with level access. Dog friendly and helpful English speaking host. Good stop over to enjoy Hornfleur and surrounding area.
7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast basket, delivered to our window ledge each morning, was delightful and plentiful! we loved the seclusion of the property, down a narrow drive between houses, it was a really peaceful haven after the hustle and bustle of beautiful Honfleur.
Cons: The ventilation arrangements. Despite the net curtain at the window, we found we had to close the window during the evenings to keep out the mosquitoes, so it did get rather stuffy. Some form of 'moustiquaire" would help.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was great to have breakfast delivered to our room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There was nothing to dislike, everything was just as stated on the web site. The owner even came to find us after we had got lost, which was very kind. Nice breakfast, and a very comfortable bed, which was very much needed after travelling for hours in the car. Would not hesitate to recommend this B & B to anyone.
Cons: Everything was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice host. Very large room with bathtub. Quite environment - deep sleep )) Excellent continental breakfast with home-made jam. Honfleur is just 3 minutes driving (if you pass the whole town through there is a free parking near Naturospace).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had one night stop over after arriving on the 10pm ferry and the host was very good with allowing us such a late arrival. The bed was very comfortable and having the breakfast delivered to the room, whilst simple, was a nice touch. Only 20 minutes from ferry in a really quiet location. Would definitely recommend and use again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We travelled to Honfleur for a single nights stay after a whistle-stop tour of the Loire valley. The two room available are in a self contained building that looks a little bit like a shed but looks are deceiving! Inside there are two en-suite rooms that are both spacious, well equipped and very comfortable with excellent beds. The breakfast was superb with freshly cooked pancakes, croissant, butter and jam. Coffee and tea is on tap in the room. The only down points about the entire visit were: 1. The place was difficult to find and better instructions would help here as would more distinctive signage at the road entry. 2. For a car with a very low ground clearance, the road entry and especially departing back on to the roadway was difficult but I understand from the owner that this will shortly be rectified by repairs to the roadway. All in all a great place, excellent food and facilities and genuinely pleasant and helpful owners.
Cons: The roadway to garden entrance needs levelling. External signage would benefit from being improved as would the instructions to find the location.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Arrived very late but the host had prepared and left access to the room. The room itself was large had good facilities including a fridge, microwave, kettle and tv. Breakfast in the morning was a lovely surprise when opening the front door and had been assembled with thought. Met the host as we left and he was very friendly and chatty. Parking is directly by the access which was great.
Cons: Due to our late arrival it was very dark which made finding the accommodation difficult, also not helped by the house numbers having been changed recently and google maps have not been updated despite the hosts attempts. For those visiting drive further than you think and look for the house number on the concrete pillar, access is narrow and to be negotiated with care especially in the dark!!! Not the fault of the host!

Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was fantastic. It was both spacious, well laid out and charming. It is also very close to the main centre of Honfleur.
Cons: The breakfast was ok but could have been better. Pain au chocolat was over cooked and the jam selection was average. Tea was not strong enough however long it was left in the pot. Fruit was very nice but some yoghurt would have been welcome as my wife cannot eat the bread or pastries. Also, we were charged about €20 than originally quoted - we found this out after leaving.

Pros: Great location overlooking the old harbour. The room was very comfortable and clean.
Cons: Parking was problematic however, I would suggest that it is difficult anywhere near the old harbour.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great restaurant for dinner! Very nice breakfast and staff.
Cons: No elevator :( Made carrying heavy suitcases upstairs a challenge. Parking is also not ideal, but fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious room, welcome champagne, helpful staff, convenient location, complementary breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Typical fairly basic french breakfast but served beautifully and lovely fresh juice and great coffee Beautiful location with lovely view of the harbour although a little noisy with the fishing boats in the morning resolved by shutting the Juliette balcony door.
Cons: The large bed was a little hard and the pillows also. I would also have liked some net curtains at the window so that I could leave the curtains open to see the view whilst dressing etc However I would return to this delightful small hotel

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens, beautiful hotel
Cons: Smell of chlorine on ground floor from swimming pool in basement
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything to each and every little detail
5.5 Okay
Pros: The territory of the hotel is very nice, as well as spa, but nothing special. The hotel is overpriced and doesn’t worth it.
Cons: Toilet room and shower are very small, even for me who is small size, can’t imagine how plus size people can use it! Toilet and shower are old, need to be changed! When you take shower water comes out because there is gap between the door of shower and the wall, so when you come out have to clean wet floor which is not safe. Breakfast is 37 euro per Pearson what is too much overpriced for it, ever if you want omelet it extra 20 euro. It would be nice hotel if it cost 200 euro per night, but really don’t worth 370 per night.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The bistro was fabulous but the gastronomic restaurant was not good
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous buildings and rooms; impeccable service, great spa
Cons: Nothing not to like! Quite pricey but you get what you pay for.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location and stylish. Lovely spa and super comfortable bed.
Cons: However, a hideous smell of sewage greeted us in our room. It was a bathroom issue that was dealt with promptly, however the sense of this place was style over substance. And the unfortunate scent never really went - we stayed out of our room for most of the stay. Also... it was bare and lacked plugs and surfaces. Not very user friendly. Meanwhile, no desire to stay for dinner. The food was ridiculously overpriced - €80 for a main course? Necessary? Perhaps no wonder the desk team were so keen to book us in to what seemed a less than full dining room. The staff were perfectly pleasant but no real connection was made. We generally didn’t hang around and used the hotel as a base which was just fine. Wouldn’t repeat though. Not one for us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was beautiful and in a great spot on a hill with a view. The food was delicious. Our room was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: History and soo beautiful interior just like in a vogue mag
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The spa is very nice
7.9 Good
Pros: Amazing beds and property. Great history and touches. Hermes toiletries and French linens. Beautiful gardens.
Cons: Snooty wait staff, slow service and outrageously priced food and drink. One night we asked to just get a dessert and were told we had to do it as room service which only offered cheese platter. We were told breakfast was included and when we checked out we were charged 64 euros a day for it and that we were mistaken. It was a lovely, but I could think of a better use of 64 euros. The front desk staff was very helpful. I felt like we were treated as a second class staff for using booking.com as our reservation manager. There are lots of options in Honfleur at a better price. Go for a drink

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff is charming and full of attention, really previous!
Cons: All things went well till the check out: I'd like to warm customers about the problem me and others customers meet at the check out. I have prepaid the room for 2 days before coming via booking and the reception/welcome services, did not notice it on the invoice, they make me pay twice for the stay letting me know that the have not registered my 1st payment in their account. Huge problem to get reimbursement. Really weird and inappropriate for a hotel of these standards.

Cons: Air conditioning .. none Bathrooms are rather small but very well equipped No tea/ coffee making facilities in rooms (same available in lobby from 2-7pm)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: By far the friendliest reception we've had at similar establishments. Very comfortable bed, superb swimming pool. Enjoyed the style and taste of the bistro type dinner, very fresh ingredients and flavours. We'll definitely go back.
Cons: Very little, possibly some more interesting fresh fruit at breakfast, especially at this time of year, but being offered eggs any way you wanted them was a definite plus point.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel owners made both the property and the experience very special. Meals in the small restaurant were exceptional.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice room but location and especially dinner are absolutely worth to stay there. Breakfast with option of fried eggs is pretty unique, too.

Pros: The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is very good even includes fresh orange juice. The area of the hotel is spacious and full of things to-do and relax. Great location.
Cons: I was truly upset that our room didn't match the decor on the picture on the website..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little French find in a beautiful town, fabulous location for old town and restaurants.
Cons: Room was very warm
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was good, but the street was dangerous.
Cons: WiFi did not work in our room. There was mold on the backside of the bathroom door. The battery was too weak in the remote to operate the air conditioning. The sliding door to the toilet needed oiling. The mattress and was sub-standard.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The decor of the hotel
Cons: The stairs to the third floor
7.1 Good
Pros: Period Hotel, very atmospheric - best thing is the location (very central) and parking.
Cons: WiFi kept dropping out, would’ve preferred duvets rather than blankets, a wall mounted shower rather than hand-held, and a larger TV would’ve made it excellent. All minor concerns - major plus is the location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location with on site parking
Cons: No permanent staffed bar
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tres jolie! We loved Hotel L'Ecrin. Beautiful four poster bed, very friendly attentive staff at breakfast thank to our friendly and efficient waiter. Such nice grounds and totally silent
Cons: We would have liked more in the minibar - no wine, beer, chocolates, snacks etc. We would have liked a lunch menu to order food but we asked for sandwiches and were provided with lovely baguettes - we just could not predict what we would be served.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house, very interesting and lovely grounds. Host very friendly and welcoming. Also plenty of parking on site. Would recomend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A charming Frenchhouse. Staff very helpful
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent central location within easy walking distance of the main attractions and the many local restaurants. Very good breakfast with an excellent variety of produce. At 15 euros a head it represents better value than is often found in hotels in France for breakfast.
Cons: The internet connexion in my room, number 15, was truly terrible. In spite of mentioning this fact to the hotel reception it appeared to be impossible to improve the situation. Internet connectivity in the main building of the hotel was perfect. However, it kept cutting out and was infuriatingly unreliable in the separate building where my room was located. Having stayed at the hotel over a dozen times in recent years I have never encountered this problem before.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good, clean room, probably a bit too small Excellent breakfast in the beautiful patio room Great historic interiors, lots of original furniture and art Very good, friendly and efficient service Very good location
Cons: Can't say there were anything we didn't like

Pros: The restaurant and food were outstanding. We were very well looked after and the staff wonderful. We were looking for Calvados and the location of the Manoir was ideal. Deauville and Honfleur markets were a short trip away.
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the shower over the bath. The position of the head was not adjustable and aimed at the far wall. Not comfortable and the floor got very wet.
10.0 Excellent

5.8 Okay
Pros: Pretty hotel although a little old fashioned. Fifteen minute walk to town centre. Good views if you pay extra and opt for a front facing bedroom.
Cons: Did not have breakfast as I do not consider it was value for money. I could not use the tea and coffee facilities as there was no milk. I discovered as we left that you have to order it from reception
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed and linen were fabulous with lovely touches such as fresh flowers in the room! Delicious breakfast and very dog friendly!

Pros: great ambiance, very friendly staff, very accommodating and the location is overlooking the canal. recommended.
Cons: it might use a bit of a renovation. it is an old manor, that has its charm, but it too needs a bit of love and care.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: This hotel can only be described as a jewel in Honfleur's Crown. The atmosphere, staff and cleanliness were all of the highest standard
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the rural setting. The accommodations were rustic chic. The dinner and lunch we had were beautifully prepared and delicious.
Cons: It was extremely hard to find, even with GPS. There are not activities in the near vicinity. Our toilette room had a problem with sewer gasses leaking into the space so we fought that for two days. There is no shower...gotta sit to bathe. There is no cell service.

6.7 Good
Pros: The location and the hotel restaurant
Cons: For a four star hotel the room was poorly laid out and the bed to big for the room. Meaning the room was over priced and not value for money

Cons: Having to pay for parking and no milk in our room for coffee

Pros: Exceptional hotel personal touches and attention
Cons: Not applicable
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Old style
Cons: Small room
6.3 Good
Pros: Fantastically located property, right in the market square in Honfleur. This of course has its downside - bottle banks being emptied at 6am each morning and lots of delivery trucks.... The bar service was very good.
Cons: The service was very hit and miss. There is no lift and narrow stairs which made carrying luggage difficult. When we left the market was on, so we could not drive to the hotel and had to park a considerable way away. The hotel receptionist told us there was no one to help us with our luggage. Great! It was raining one evening when we ventured out so we asked to borrow and umbrella. We were told it would be charged to our room unless we checked it back in. Very scary. I made the poor night porter sign it back in!! The bedroom was a bit 'tired'. Could do with a spruce up. The loo was separate from the bathroom and if one was taller than 5'10 there is not room between the wall & the loo to sit down!! Downstairs areas seem to have been updated, but not our bedroom. Not really the best value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed . Lovely garden outlook
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Junior Suite. Perfection.
Cons: The staff is very 'French' - easy and not efficient. The breakfast is not even a 4 star treat. It is average.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Nothing stands out. Austere, characterless and with no facilities one associates with a hotel. First experience of this type of residence. Why call it a BnB when it lacks all the warmth and homeliness that the name implies. What about hostel?? Something good? Plenty of parking !
Cons: Nothin to comment it. Not inexpensive given there is no service. Have stayed in better places with services, atmosphere and friendly staff. No chance of using this chain in th future
7.1 Good
Pros: On a walking distance from the center of Honfleur. Free parking on site. The room was clean and with air conditioning.
Cons: In case of any issues, need or problems that may occur outside the reception’s opening hours the only assistance available is through a machine located outside the main entrance, which directly connects you with the operation center in Paris…. [this is what we’ve been told by the receptionist]. For our bad luck on the 2nd day of our stay there, and upon returning from a day trip late afternoon, we found out that there were no towels left in the room. Despite our tiredness we had to go down and spend more than half an hour in the heat in order to try to search for assistance through the speaker machine. The operator asked if we could wait until 17.30 when the reception would be open, which we refused. And after a couple of minutes, the receptionist appeared from within the hotel and gave us 2 towels. We will never understand why we had to go through this ordeal, since there was staff available in the hotel that could assist us on the spot. This experience made us more cautious in choosing B&B hotels in the future.
7.1 Good
Pros: localisation accès
Cons: Thé systèm of climatisation was out 26.5 d to sleep.. it was difficult !!!
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was very small. By the time was got our cases in we had no room to move.
Cons: Small room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything else Would be useful to include instructions for airco If you have an intercom for 24hour assistance someone should answer
Cons: Sand in the sheets at the bottom of the bed so I guess the sheets were not clean. This is my 2nd time at the hotel so disappointed. I also fought with the air conditioning to turn it off. Outside the 24h contact... nobody answered
9.2 Excellent
Pros: ...but we had immediately everything we asked for. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially Jalai who was the head of it. Although breakfast did not have a big variety, this was highly recompensed by the excellent quality. Easy parking just outside and 3' drive to the center of Honfleur
Cons: At first sight it seemed too basic
7.5 Good
Pros: Confortable bed
Cons: Small car parking Small bfast room
7.9 Good
Pros: The Hotel was clean and tidy and the breakfast was good.
Cons: It was too far out of town for us though...
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, clean, ample parking, free WiFi, plenty of power points, comfortable bed.
Cons: Reception not always manned so self check in is a bit impersonal. The man at reception was moody and got on with tasks while muttering to me. If self check in, you possibly might miss the sign saying breakfast had to be booked the night before and there was little inflexibility. Room was tiny for two adults with two cases. Air conditioning ineffective and window couldn’t be ‘locked’ in an open position - didn’t feel secure leaving it open all night in ground floor, so room got stuffy overnight. Only one bath towel per person - no hand towels.
6.7 Good
Pros: It was clean and the receptionist was nice. It was also quiet.
Cons: The eggs for breakfast seem to be the type that’s made out of powder and don’t taste good. The room is very small and can be a challenge with large bags.

2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot
Cons: I wasn’t aware that I had to pay an extra amount on arrival, ‘city tax’? No air conditioning and hard to breath. Toilet seat falling off. No attachment for the shower. Needed to hold it above your head. Could hear the McDonalds drive through talking. A big flashing light outside room all night. Dogs barking next door. In the morning I asked for some hot water and was told no, unless I had my own mug. Breakfast was poor. It’s over a mile walk to Honfleur, which is a beautiful place.
