Nothing stood out. Refurbished but charmless.
Location adjacent to busy road and commercial parking lot: Noise. Trash and cigarette butts by one entrance.
Toilet flooded at night and was non-functional. No manager on duty.

There must have been a water issue at the hotel as there was a fan blowing and the musky odor was bad at one end of the hall way. No odor in our room though.

Location was great. Within walking distance of downtown Ithaca so we didn't have to drive in and it's right across the street from Wegmans if you need anything.
We took our do not disturb tag on our room off at 10 a.m. and left for the day. Returned around 5 p.m. and out room was not service yet by housekeeping. We stopped at the front desk, because we were heading out again for the evening, and the person at the front desk did not seem pleased because housekeeping had already left for the day. It almost seemed like we were a pain for asking for our room to be serviced, like we were in the wrong. She tried to talk us out of getting our sheets changed but then agreed to do it along with new towels and emptying trash bins. When we got back to our room later that night the trash cans were not emptied but we did have new towels and sheets. Room/bathroom was not cleaned at all.
Good Basic Place for the Price!
The staff was outstanding! My mother uses a walker and they were very accommodating. The free breakfast was adequate but the service was great. It's a no-frills place at a decent price. My mother and I are usually light sleepers but we slept through the night with no noise problems. Housekeeping service was quick and thorough.
We really missed having a closet - there was just a shelf in the corner with 6 non-removeable hangars on a suspended bar.
