Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room layout and kitchenette!
Cons: More than 1 pack of coffee in the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: it was very clean smelled clean even after someone put fish in the refuse room and wasn't suppose to. The stuff cleaned up rapidly and the hotel smelled clean and fresh again.
Cons: Everything was great.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room was nice, lots of room. Beds very comfy.
Cons: The only thing I suggest, is talking to the city about not dumping snow at night next to 3 bears. It was very noisy till almost 11pm. Trucks were loud, especially when they unloaded. Other than that it was a great stay!
Good 7.7
Pros: We use this hotel when we don't have any other room at our house. And worked out fine for us. Don't expect any breakfast or any frills.
Cons: I kind of wish the housekeeping was daily
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean covid 19 awareness. Quiet private staying again in July hope I get the same room.
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hostess at check in was extremely accommodating and helpful. My mom just had surgery and the hostess made sure we had a ground floor room with an easy access handicap shower. The full kitchenette was also perfect! Made it so we didn't have to eat out.
Cons: No, it was excellent. If I am ever in Kenai again I know exactly where I'm staying.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: I was very specific at check-in that they could take my credit card for information and to hold for a security deposit, but that I was ADAMENT that pay the bill with cash at check out in the morning. It really irritates me as a lodging owner to be ignored
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms, bathrooms, kitchenette
Cons: No breakfast, price
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Love Aspen Suites! Always a great stay wherever we go! Zero complaints!!
Good 7.0

Cons: Dated

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, and in my 14 days of business in which I stayed in 6 hotels, this was the most relaxing.
Cons: Not comments needed.
Good 7.0
Pros: Good clean facilities
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything including the friendly desk staff
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The shower was very nice
Cons: The breakfast was adequate and our TV in our room didn't work very well.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect (nearest airport). The staff were very knowledgeable of things to do and see, and so very friendly. The breakfast was perfect, since I don't eat much in morons anyway (oatmeal, toast, pastries, coffee/tea), cereals to choose from.
Cons: Nope. This one will be where I stay when I return to Kenai.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: All was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was minimal.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned prior to us arriving. there were sticky areas on the carpet, the shower was filthy, the toilet had poop particles around the rim when the seat was lifted. surfaces in the room looked like they haven’t been wiped down in god only knows how long. There were empty beer cans under the bed and the bedding stunk like they hadn’t been washed. Also the smoke alarm went off anytime we showered if the fan in the bedroom wasn’t on.
Cons: The lack of cleanliness.
Poor 1.0
Cons: The room was not ready when I arrived. When I was given the key to the room, it smelled strongly of marijuana and I refused to stay there.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and efficient.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was clean as was the carpeting. Very comfortable and quiet even from across the street from the airport. Due to the pandemic I booked online and was impressed the room key was ready quickly. Receipt and key was placed in a location by the front door because the lobby was locked.
Cons: Again, due to the pandemic I miss the social aspect of checking in and talking to an actual person. Fortunately there wasn't anything that I didn't like, I'm easy to please. Just as long as the room is clean and quiet.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Bed was so comfy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean room and friendly staff
Cons: Nothing, would definitely stay again

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean room, comfy beds, friendly staff. Nice stay!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: This is a rough time to be in the hotel business....but all the staff did so well complying with the new regulations and they looked after us as best they could from a distance.
Cons: It would only have been better if the virus hadn't been a problem. The place is great!
Good 7.5
Pros: Pool was warm
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Pool and hot tub was nice. My daughter was very happy that the pool opened at 9am, which meant we could swim before checkout. Pool water was nice and warm.
Cons: Could've had more breakfast choices. Beds seemed very wobbly. Could've had better soap/shampoo. We forgot our toothbrushes and was disappointed that we were directed to the vending machine when we asked the front desk for some...$2.75 each! Offer better parking.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room way to hot
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location..We are touring Alaska and this is on the Kenai river and convenient Kenai and Homer. It is roomy, light colors and clean. Wife was very happy.
Cons: No.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Clean and well appointed. Great water pressure. Pool, spa, gym and breakfast were closed due to covid. Wish they would have had a grab bag breakfast as other hotels are doing.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location was convenient for my stay. Left an item and I called the next day and they had it.
Cons: The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were miniature in size. Couldn’t tell if anything was sanitized. Bathroom vent had dust built up on it. The guests across the hall had their kids screaming and running up and down the hallway. No dry/instant breakfast or bottled water/juice in the room because of Covid. Another hotel I stayed at the week before left complimentary items since they couldn’t open for their continental breakfast.

Pros: This hotel was in a great location and had a wonderful view of the Kenai River.
Cons: The room smelled musty. The sink was rusted and water took forever to drain. The toilet took at least 5 minutes to refill. The window did not have a screen and there were lots of bugs. The room was also very hot because it was in direct sunlight all day without a fan provided to help cook it down.
Mediocre 3.1
Pros: Nice view of the river.
Cons: Noisy room next to the bar. Noise from highway was constant, not a good place if you are a light sleeper. No parking available for hotel patrons on a busy Friday night at the hotel bar. No staff available at check out time.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: I like the staff I love the pool and the hot tub but mainly the people made me feel really welcome there great staff.
Cons: Didn't clean the room quite like I expected a couple of times I left the room and came back in the beds or kind of half made one bed not made it all and they never restocked the lotions or shampoo.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: We stayed here for a couple nights while we were dipnetting and fishing on the peninsula. It best the heck out of camping on the beach. No issues with the room. Overall the place was clean and the staff were great. It was the best price in town. There was no elevator but it's only a 2 story building. Stairs ain't a big deal. Will stay here again next year for the annual dipnetting trip.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The warm rooms.
Good 6.0
Pros: Staff was friendly and very accommodating!
Cons: There were some guests who we under the influence at the pool area and made us feel uncomfortable. The next morning there was a large amount of beer bottles in the trash in the pool area clearly the sign states no alcohol.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Quiet
Good 7.0
Pros: Hot tub
Cons: No , Good deal for the money .
Excellent 8.0
Pros: They have the best hot tub in Alaska I do believe. And the breakfast was pretty good .
Cons: When we went to our room it was kind of musty from not being used , but went away once we turned the heat on took about 1/2 hr then the smell was gone .
Good 7.5
Pros: Daytime staff was wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly. The night crew could use some work. Had to tell the night to use their inside voice.
Cons: The accommodations were wonderful!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We always stay at this property when we go to Kenai. We went for a doctor appointment and took my 2 grand kids, 15,14 with us and they love the pool. The front desk allowed us a later checkout so the grands could stay there and not have to sit at the Doctors office. We appreciate that extra courtesy.
Cons: N?A
Poor 1.0
Pros: I'm in Alaska heaters in the room did not work change room heater in the room did not work again
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was clean and quiet. Good breakfast with fresh fruit.

Pros: This hotel was average but not a 3 star.
Cons: Woke up every morning with a backache due to bed.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: My friends and I stayed at this location during peak season, which pretty much anytime during July. Which is little more on the expensive side. Staff was friendly and gave us a lot of information. You can buy fishing licenses here. My booking included breakfast, which was a full breakfast and the restaurant just next to the hotel. It was basically a $15 voucher per person. Internet fast. AC working well
Cons: Room are a little outdated, but clean. Bathroom fan was loud. Expensive.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Wife loved the bed.
Cons: Tv channel selection was lacking but who comes there for tv anyways
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great place! The room was spacious enough, comfortable beds, great big shower, mini kitchen was nice addition too. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very accommodating , nice facilities, wonderful atmosphere Your own private cooking kitchens. You simply have it all.
Cons: Wish I could have stayed longer.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Newer place so things in good shape Does look like good facilities to clean and process fish.
Cons: A bunch. Adds/website was very different than reality. Felt like bait and switch. Lots of promises. View. Ours was of the parking lot office and fence hiding dumpster. Hot tub was across site. Brwakfast included at best was one package of instant oatmeal. Near things. Not so. Half hour to town on twisted roads. Nothing near by. No trails. Was in an extensive development -- give acre lots. No place for gear. Literally one place for a suit case. We piled another bag, our backpacks, and wildlife viewing gear in the middle of the living area and spent the evening tripping over them.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners were communicative, easy to work with,, and generous. I stayed in the offseason and they worked with me to ensure I still had a great time.
Cons: Honestly, this was a great place to stay and I don't have any constructive criticism. I was happy and well cared for all the way through. The only thing I can mention is that it would have been great to have an outdoor light on outside the McKinley suite door, so I could climb the stairs in some light, they were dark and hard to see when I was bringing luggage up.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Terry, the owner, was so helpful. We booked the day before because our hotel had lost hot water. Was amazed that Salmon Catcher had a suite. Found out when we got there suite was just opened up for booking the day we found it. Even though we were in the basement suite, McKinley 1, it was still great. So much space for the money. We just mentioned we would like to fish from the bank and Terry had us fitted out with rods, tackle, waders, net and cooler in minutes. Plus a map to a great place to fish for a simple parking fee of $5. All this was included in the price of the suite! He and his staff seemed really concerned that we had a great time and made sure we knew all the best places to eat if we wanted to go out. We were catch and release fishing and he even offered some halibut he had just frozen for us to cook for dinner! Incredible!!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was great. The property is sum what secluded (during the winter it may be considered secluded). We only seen the staff one time other than check in. We were able to relax and do our preparations for work in a very clean, spacious property that felt like home

Pros: Quiet relaxing stay. Excellent continental breakfast choices.
Mediocre 2.5
Cons: Smell old bedding people were not accomating
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We stayed at this beautifull B&B for two nights. When we arrivered, the owners were very nice and helpfull and also the day after. We could come ik we needed any help.
Cons: The coffee and the breakfast in this bed An breakfast was availleble but we had to make it our selves. There was enough, but in the other b&b’ s There was always coffee, you didn’t have to make it yourself. When we left, There was nobody to say thanks and to say goodbye. The door from the main House was open, but a big black dog was standing in the door and barking. So after leaving a quicknote we left around 10 am. It felt strange to leave without saying anything.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hospitality and all confort room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our hosts were fabulous and our accommodations were very spacious. Really all you would need even for a family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of interesting things to see and do in this area. We did day trips to Homer, Seward and Kenai knowing we had a great place to come back to at night.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent host! Great service, very helpful. Felt welcomed. Rick knows a lot about fishing and all the good spots to go to. Cathy was very warm and friendly. The kitchen was well stocked. Very spacious and clean. Out in nature, calm and quiet, we had a moose encounter! We will definitely come back!

Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking was close to room. Microwave and fridge in room was very convenient.
Cons: At 5:00 am, the “neighbors” upstairs had a very lengthy loud conversation. Ruined a much needed good night’s sleep.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A very friendly, helpful staff. Clean facility ,nice continental breakfast, I will tell others about this Inn an would use it again in the future.
Cons: A little difficult for those with challenges with stairs. Make sure to ask for ground floor rooms.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Tv is a little high.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I liked the location and the room. We had the two bedroom apartment. It was a great value for two adults and four children. A king size bed room and another bedroom with a twin and full size bed. There was a full kitchen, full livingroom and a bath. It was well furnished. Wish we were staying longer to use all the space properly.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: The offsite three bedrooms is awsome and even had an outside plug to plug in my diesel truck in the negative temps we had during our visit

Pros: That the room was cleaned daily and bed made. We were pleased with that part. We didn't think that would be done considering the other things.
Cons: Staff. Unfriendly, dingy didn't have paper she said we needed. Very unorganized. Late night fighting out side, people running back and forth during the night on walkway. Bartender on duty Monday night. Very slow at giving service. Did not even make eye contact or acknowledge we were there. Poor poor customer service. No restaurant, it is a bar. No other businesses around.
